Also, side note: when you first jacked the body up a whole back I kind of giggled but then had an "oh shoot" moment. At work I've been dealing with TONS of Mack MD fuel level sender recalls and forever been removing full (always lol) tanks from the undersidevif the trucks after pulling steps/straps, lines,etc...NOWWW, I pull the rear body mounts, Porta power the cab up and swap the senders in place! 3 hour job down to 20 minutes thanks to you!!! So THANKS FOR THAT! lol. Ok- back to ZR2 sheet 😅
Haha that’s great glad my crazy situation helped someone! … just put some snow tires on even had to use the bead blast hose. the tire machines kicking ass for sure. Slowly working on acquiring all the wheel weights and accessory stuff.

Thanks man! I’ve never really had any issues with the third door on mine… I did finally break the known issue handle off a while back and had to replace it with one of those aluminum ones….
That inner trim piece on those doors is pretty straightforward to pop off. Sounds like something might just be out of adjustment in there or needs lubed up.

No problem man, as I’m sure you know the 4.3 and sbc are the same basically so the trans can go either way. Good luck man. Make sure you don’t over rpm that trans with that zippy 305. 6400 Max shift on the 4l60/R4
Unfortunately, that was kind of just a one off piece I made, I didn’t really save any of the measurements not to mention the motors installed now… the steel and hardware I got was actually just from my local Menards so definitely wasn’t anything special. Good luck
ZR2 models were cool trucks back in the ‘90s through early ‘00s. Prices are beginning to rise on these things. Folks are grabbing up nice ones.
Sadly, it’s getting hard to find a clean s10 period at this point at least in my area, especially with all the salt. 😔

Anything can fit if you've got a set of torches, a welder, and a big enough sledge hammer

Did you have to move your brake lines from the master cylinder or proportioning valve to clear the headers?
No, just bent them alittle to the side.
Being close to things like that is part of the reason why I wrapped my headers.

Were you able to use the OEM fuel injector system (spider injector) with your cam, heads and header combo. Did you need a custom tune
Yeah, it ran great, I had the mpfi stock replacement unit. The truck was tuned. I’m not sure if they changed much with the fueling.
What trans did you use
Just had the 4l60 that was behind the original V6 rebuilt, and a couple extras
