Toronto is what Cleveland would be today had it never stopped growing. In 1960, both cities' had about the same metro area population. Both cities had just opened their first subway lines. Toronto's skyscraper boom had not yet begun. Now Greater Toronto has at least triple the population and a Chinese/South Asian population that is at least as big as San Francisco Bay Area's. Not to mention a skyline that rivals Chicago and a subway system that carries nearly twice as many riders as Chicago's L despite Toronto being a smaller city than Chicago.

Everyone on here wants to go back in time as if 3 channels on your b&w TV and trying to adjust those rabbit ear antennas didn't exist. No AC in your car and probably none in your house either. Nah. I'll pass.

Cincy is the city with an old, unused subway. But that may have been due to its corrupt politics. It was the very first US city to establish an ambulance service, a model that other cities followed. When researched, it had & has some remarkable businesses & establishments, though far from being perfect.
