    much better description. Most other yt videos that are sadly "unprofessional" say there were indian but here they are calling them Adena Culture which is correct. Thumbs up... very knowledgeable crew.

    The mounds is THE most underrated and miss understood thing about Columbus Ohio
    There's evidence they are 11,000 years old and the Hopewell did not build them but simply use them and adopt the use of them after they found them.

    12:14 Brad Lepper was a teaching assistant at Ohio State University back in the early 80s. I remember attending one of his classes in Anthropology.

    I’m glad the sponsors are first so you can see how biased the documentary will be.
    Edit. I should elaborate, ODOT has done more to destroy American Indian history than anyone else in Ohio-if a culture can be genocides twice, ODOT wanted to find out first hand.

    Were there bodies in each mound? If so what happens to the remains? I hope they are left undisturbed. @OHS

    Hey genius, if you are sincere about knowing who the mound builders were, read the Book of Mormon, a 1000 year history of the descendants of joseph son of Jacob (israel), I love the mound that has the shape of the square, Jewish oil lamp and their candle stand all in one feature.
    Nothing says israelites better than that

    How do these people know that the mound builders were not the ancestors of the local native tribes?

    • @Brandon-kt1qh
      @Brandon-kt1qh ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Becau$e then they might have to give up a portion of the land$ around Columbu$ that are worth a lot of $$$

      Research the Adena. We know they are the ancestors of the Hopewell. So we already know they are the ancestors of the local native tribes.

    It kinda says something about taking a native American earth mound to use it to make brick and mortar for the settlers’ state house. lol
    Ouch, talk about adding insult to injury, yikes.

    Cbus? I always abbreviated to "Cols" and said the whole word rather than a phonic of the abbreviation. "Cbus" sounds choppy, or like a bus, or some kind of succubus.

    What does the drug use and other junk near the end of the video have to do with anything? I was with you until that diversion....

  • @josephkingery3682
    @josephkingery3682 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    This stairs don’t mean it was a slave hideout. That’s an access to the old part of the house before the addition was added. And how has society turned there back on drug users and sellers? Not sure what was meant by that

    • @SooSmokie
      @SooSmokie 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      He never said the stairs meant it was a slave hideout. The house is known already to be part of the underground railroad, he just points out what he thinks is eveidence of them staying down there.
      With fentynal and heroin, yes society has turned there backs on these people because they turn into complete POS people.

    Who killed off the Adena and Hopewell people? Do the people responsible for killing off the Hopewells bearany collective guilt?

    • @SooSmokie
      @SooSmokie 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Adena were the hopewells ancestors, they were moved out of ohio and a lot slaughtered. The people responsible have been dead for a long time.
