Becoming a good trader takes time and patience. When i first got into trading i was liquidated twice, and lost my entire mortgage deposit. I could have given up, but decided to learn how to trade and put it into practice. 4 years later and i am glad i made that decision.
My portfolio has good companies, however it has been stalling since last year. I have approximately $200k stagnant in my reserve that needs growth.
Now copying other traders for over 3 years, I would like to tell you, YES copy trading is a good approach. Just keep in mind that the success of copying another trader lies in their transparency. Make sure you know who you are dealing with before copying them. My two cents. Goodluck!
When the market was bullish and everything was on the green, I copied trades from eToro traders, and frankly I’m happy by this decision. My portfolio went up with around 6% for a week. Once the market went red I sold my profits. My actual experience is that my returns are different than the people I copy so liquidate all my assets and recopy only 1 trader. So far I am up 33.41% which already includes the recent market decline. As long as you do your research on who you’re copying and what their strategy is, it’s a nice hands-off way to invest.

Invest in S&P 500 for a safe, less risky, and more diversified growth of your money. Vanguard and Fidelity both have great and popular ETFs and mutual funds dedicated to the SP500 index, spanning hundreds of stocks that they bundle and manage. I would recommend VOO or FXAIX and just let the money sit in there. Add to it periodically if you want. It's better to bet the whole market for long term growth than performance chase any one sector, industry, or individual company. Let the experts do the bundling for you.

Companies run on windows 7(nothing really wrong with it but it’s still more likely to be hacked compared to windows 10/linux machine) , XP, manage their databases with excel and so much more outdated crap. I’m a student and put my resume up for recruiters to see and most of the jobs I got offered were managing databases within excel rofl. I learned to work with SQL not fucking excel

I just saw a thread of solicitors from a Bitcoin related comment in this video that tried to convince people to sign up with this "financial advisor" named Mrs. Claudia who yield them profits through Bitcoin and then proceeded to provide a Whatsapp phone number for people to contact her. This is such a classic example of scam where fraudsters try to convince others to give them their personal banking information and hand over their bitcoin holdings to a "financial advisor" across foreign country only to have said advisor run off with the cash and bitcoin.
Since Bitcoin is encrypted there will be no way to trace where the money went in the event of a fraudulent transaction.

I don't find it credible this many people would be needed, presumably at full time hours, to do any of this. With retail trading being free now, it is pretty clear their business model is heavily dependent on trading volume enabled by taxation and central banking policies. I don't understand how anyone can feel good about this knowing there are actual working people who can't afford to support themselves. Depends and what method are you going to use. If it's intraday then don't do it by yourself because it consume so much time. If you want to invest in holding or long term then just look the graphs of 1-3-6 months. 90% times market repeat trend. Like it goes up amd down again and again with minor price fluctuations.
