I'm 42 and haven't moved passed being excited about emulating 30 year old SNES games on my modern gaming rig. Will probably not move past this stage. Am perfectly happy with it.
Since the Game Trailers days, and the Final Bossman, Kyle is one of these critically underrated human beings that everyone simply wants to be friends with. I'm thankful for Kyle Bosman.
Indeed. As a fellow 40 plus gamer who's looking forward to enjoying his ROG Ally X, thank you Kyle for being my parasocial buddy for the past decade +.
@@crossslashgame trust me, Kyle wouldn't even want to be friends with himself. The dude is a single guy in his late 30s with no kids and on a steady diet of antidepressants. Combine all that with how he spends his days....playing video games for 6-8 hours for an audience of anonymous Internet people. I'd make a bet on his impending suicide.
Today we have "jumping food" games. Tomorrow, it could be "running food"... "swimming food"... "machine gun-firing food".... the sky's the limit. I see a major gaming franchise in the making. They can call it "Call of Foodie."
You know I was gonna be snarky about the most impressive part of the ice cube game being just them using Unity but then I remembered the spirit of the episode and you know what even Thi Games deserves some thanks from time to time Big Thanks to Ice Cube Physics
Imagine if Sony just gets stricter and stricter about those jumping food games and that developer just continues to circumvent those rules until they eventually just start making good games lol
Really going to miss to mister Shuehei Yoshida, he was the last person who works on PlayStation that I have respect, despite that he didn't talk too much still he made an amazing job with the indie scene on PlayStation. Never going to forget when he was a playable character in the indie game: Super Time Force Ultra and even there was a trophy (or achievement) of him, lol!.
You know it's going to be a good episode when Zaslav saying that the game division will focus on Hogwarts, Mortal Kombat, Game of Thrones and Batman didn't get a car honk
As soon as I heard the Shuhei news my brain immediately flashed to when he went out on stage at PSX to defend Kyle against a very obnoxious David Jaffe and Greg Miller who were calling him out. The last man at Sony with a soul.
Kyle should do a collaboration with jumping food games. Maybe creating a Digital Eclipse-esque compilation charting their history and perseverance as they struggle to give gamers the trophies they crave? The world needs to hear these stories!
I saw the extended runtime after the main segment ended and for a brief second I thought we were gonna see the return of Chegduff That being said it IS Thanksgiving and I haven't watched that cartoon in a while 🤔 Well, I know what I'm doing after this 😁 Big thanks to Chegduff😸
Big thanks to Juicy Big D
iconic
The Big D just keeps giving
I just love when a Kyle video rolls credits and THERES STILL 50% RUNTIME TO GO
Delayed input bro ;)
I'm 40 and buying myself a steam Deck for Xmas. I didn't realise I was about to become a meme
I'm only 37 and I totally lean into it. I have over 600 games on my Steam, so it's a no brainer. So glad to see more people dive into PC gaming.
I’m 36 but I’m this meme-personified too. I feel attacked
Congratulations, you will enjoy it, any plans for the next Switch?
Any thoughts on Dave the Diver? 😅

The fact the ice cube can fall back into the lower glass was genuinely impressive lmao
Kyle, welcome. Us other 40+ peeps love having another to talk about how great Dave the Diver is.
We are grateful for Mr Bosman this week.
Oh no, another Steam Deck person is being born.
Big Thanks to Kyle, in this valley of videogames social media bullshit we can be grateful to have him

I don't think you want to be friends with someone who is that cynically sarcastic. It's exhausting.
@crday3090 😂 he is just the type of friend I like to have!

"My uncle kept ranting about who the best Digimon is"
What the hell, Kyle. Why can't my unbearable uncles be that cool
I think he was referring to him as the uncle
Bro Shu leaving feels so wrong, yet also inevitable. Good luck to him. Thanks for all the good games and memories Shu 😢
This guy never fails to make me laugh. “Becoming one of those 40 something’s who buys a steam deck and never stops talking about it” is so accurate!
Genuinely annoyed how laser focused the 40ish year old former PlayStation fan to Steam Deck owner burn was.
I did buy a Steam Deck recently.
I love how many separate apologies Kyle ends up making in his videos 🎉
Today we have "jumping food" games. Tomorrow, it could be "running food"... "swimming food"... "machine gun-firing food".... the sky's the limit. I see a major gaming franchise in the making.

Big Thanks to Ice Cube Physics
“Uniformly dark and slime encrusted” is my new favorite insult.
Another great video from Uncle Kyle
Kyle youre definitely helping some nefarious group launder money by buying these games
Imagine if Sony just gets stricter and stricter about those jumping food games and that developer just continues to circumvent those rules until they eventually just start making good games lol
Big thanks to Kyle
Yoshida was a huge part of why I spent $1,000s of dollars with Sony. Feels bad.
Shu was PlayStation history man one of a kind icon. Plus one of the first supporters of your new venture love the man.
The steam deck Dave the diver commentary was spot on.
That ice cube sound as it lands on the cup was satisfying though.

As a 40-something who proudly owns a Steam Deck, your comment really ingurgitated me
Just watched some nostalgic bosman bits from 10 years back. I don't think there is any other thing I followed on youtube for that long. Thanks
5:08 "What's Diddy Kong Land"? Surely not that Game Boy game
Playstation having jumping games is a tradition like wiith Jumping flash.
Kyle, beware, you're slowly becoming Tim Rodgers.
Oooooohhhhhh... the Grateful Dead. Now I get it...
I'm grateful for Big K
I knew you wouldn't miss the oportunity to talk about Shuhei Yoshida.
You wouldn't miss a thing like that.
As soon as I heard the Shuhei news my brain immediately flashed to when he went out on stage at PSX to defend Kyle against a very obnoxious David Jaffe and Greg Miller who were calling him out. The last man at Sony with a soul.
I can't unhear Michael Pachter in this episode
A SteamDecker huh, arrest him!
As a 27 year old, I can relate to all the 40 somethings.
Steam Deck supremacy rise up!
Shu and Kyle are buds. Going to miss Shu a ton, glad Kyle cares about him as much as us all and is grateful for him.
Look, it's the dark imp of games media, holding a steam deck!
13:25 the moment of temptation for that platinum trophy...
While all the other developers are getting worse every year, Jumping game is improving. Soon, Jumping games are the only games worth playing.
Turned 40 this November. Got myself a steam deck. This... hurt so much.
Great episode. Thanks, Kyle!!

Thankful for all the laughs.
Big thanks to you Kyle
I'm thankful for Kyle Bossman
Time to use your connection with Shuhei Yoshida to have him in a Delayed Input. Now is the time.
"Yeah right, get back to work" haha
I'm still grateful for box peek, went back for a rewatch and it still is a cartoon paper figure series
Big thanks Kyle!
Big thanks to Kyle Bosman *fanfare*
Great episode, lots of laughs!!
Never forget Shuhei defending Kyle from David Jaffe live
I love your show so, so much.
I’d be grateful for a new chegduff episode
Dang he really super-served on this one
I saw the extended runtime after the main segment ended and for a brief second I thought we were gonna see the return of Chegduff
That being said it IS Thanksgiving and I haven't watched that cartoon in a while 🤔
Well, I know what I'm doing after this 😁
Big thanks to Chegduff😸
Dang, Kyle really super served in this episode
The devs of No Luca No later made One Finger Death Punch, so there is hope for everyone.
The Jumping Ice Cube is the best Donkey Kong Country game of 2024
Donkey Kong Land is underrated.
Happy Thanksgiving 🦃
Thanks Kyle
Kyle, if they ever make a Jumping Shrek…I’ll blame you.
Shout out to Shu ❤
Can't believe Qump Jump got a shout out
I will never forget Shu coming to defend you against that POS Jaffe iirc. And he even popped up in Final Bosman.
love u kyle
LOVE the Jerrys' bears shirt, K-man.
I'm thankful for Toe Jam & Earl. The best part was the beat box mini games for me. It was *my* Ocarina.
Im grateful for Kyle the bossman
Oncle Kyle talks to Kyle 😊
good work kyle
Big thanks
Bro has the most fire Grateful Dead t shirt collection
5:38 toejam and Earl in panic on funkotroooon... castlevania fatal fury ninja chachumarukan. (Probably spelled that wrong.)
QUMP JUMP MENTION ‼️🗣️🔥
Ooo, that's a good opener. XD
You look like your floating on a multi-colored field of cotton candy heaven
Really thankful for the super serve this week
so you're telling me that A Burger in Space is 363.8 MB ?
I’ve been watching Kyle for a long time and today’s the first day I noticed he has heterochromia - two different colored eyes. Cool!
I can't wait for kyle to just make a the whole show the post credits segment
It’s THANK-ful Kyle wtf
Best honk ever
Donkey Kong Land was one of the first games I ever played on my cousin's old Gameboy in like 2007
The tenacity 😂
Looking forward to your game Award intro❤
I'm just hoping this string of Donkey Kong Gameboy releases leads to DK '94.
And maybe a new DKC on Switch 2...?
As usual, the end of this episode was an adventure.
Shuhei Yoshida sounds like such a wonderful person. He just gives off very similar vibes with Iwata.
Frosty Finisher, Glacial Guru 😂
Ice cube King, Iceberg invader, frosty finisher...
I don't need to watch Penguin, this is giving me all the backstory I need.
Im grateful for dragon quest
The Magikarp minigame in Pokémon Stadium is the best jumping food game.
Shu wants to focus on his drumming.
13:22 what's the game between Sparking Zero and Astro Bot
