I have to admit, I do enjoy this movie. It was kind of cool to see the villain wasn't so much of a villain in the traditional sense. I don't think he ever intended to kill the older brother and it's cool that he held both brothers in high regard.

It is funny, before I saw this movie for the first time, I thought it was going to be "noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo" but it was just "no." Not even an exclamation point "no", just the kind for "Dad can I borrow the car?" - "No."

I'll be honest, I had never heard of this movie and thought what I was clicking on was a "best of Distracted Nerd" compilation style video. I'm entertained anyway, but I felt it necessary to admit to my foible. 😂
Every time I know James Earl Jones is going to be in a movie I get excited because at some point he will use his James Earl Jones voice to make the character say some hilarious shit.
I think James Earl Jones and John Madden were 2 voices that I was pleasantly surprised that I could do somewhat well

I have dislocated my shoulder 4 times and let me tell you it is incredibly painful not only that you are not about to fight or do anything after they finally pop it back in place which hurts more than dislocating it

I will always consider every movie suggestion. My selection criteria is so chaotic that someone could suggest a movie on a Wednesday and I'll just decide to do that one for Friday. And also you're the second person to suggest Space Camp and I had never heard of it before. It sounds so stupid. I love it.
And PCU was one of my favorite movies growing up. The scene with Jeremy Piven screaming at David Spade to go to sleep will never not be hilarious to me.
@@DistractedNerd SpaceCamp (oh hey it's actually one word) was super cool when I first saw it as a kid in The 90s but as an adult? My LORD. It also came out less than six months after the Challenger disaster so needless to say it didn't do so well at the ol'box office.
PCU is an underrated GEM and it feels like almost no one has heard of it! I thought it was hilarious then and often watch it now, partly just to see Jon Favreau in those tiny dreds.
Oh dude… Flight of the Navigator! I loved that movie as a kid! I taped it off tv after I spent a week programming the vcr. Kids today will never know the struggle that was ‘80’s electronics. My first computer was a Commodore 64. What a beast! Good times

FotN was one of my favorite movies growing up and I still watch it to this day. I'm sure most would agree that it doesn't really hold up now, but I don't care! That soundtrack is still an example of great 80s synth work!
I forgot to mention how WEIRD it was to see Howard Hessman on WKRP in Cincinnati reruns because I had only known him as Dr. Faraday!

You didn't mention an obvious plot hole: this is a karate/teakwondo match but people basically beat each other (half) dead. Where are the referees to stop the fight when Dee Han is literally half-dead?

Lmao ive actually dislocated my shoulder before. Worst pain i ever felt. It was a lil funny cuz i couldnt lift my arm at all. I vomited from the pain, like you said in your karate kid video. I was sitting in the emergency room rocking back and forth with my noodle arm. People were hella staring. They still made me fill out paper work!! Had to get morphined for them to pop that bih back into place cuz. Shoulder still clicks a lil.
