She has the backing of Gene Simmons from Kiss, Eminem, Brent Smith from Shinedown, Lucas Woodland from Holding Absence, Machine Gun Kelly (Unfortunately), M. Shadows from Avenged Sevenfold and now The OFFSPRING??!!?!? All the people that are saying that she's a bad singer should shut up right now, they have NO idea what they're talking about and it shows.
you should definitely check out their LA show. there's a few full cam recorded vids but the setlist was largely the exact same. but she sang a bunch of new songs and she absolutely killed it. specifically for Given Up and Keys to the Kingdom, which were by far her best performances.
@@igN8tion I never heard of them but every since I heard her voice from the linkin park stuff I went back and checked it out and been checking stuff out on this channel too
From the page with the original video: Live clip of "Gone Away" from The Offspring's show at the Hollywood Palladium in October of 2012. Emily Armstrong of openers Dead Sara joined the band for this special duet version.
Check her voice out in Sorry For It All by her band. Her voice is amazing and comparing that with what we've heard so far with LP, she's got great range.
I watched a live performance of Demi Lovato perform her song Help Me with Emily. Emily just absolutely nailed it. Man I just love the hate comments saying that Emily can't sing when that is objectively false. 😆
I was there too. Had never heard of Dead Sara but was blown away by their set then by the duet with Dexter. I’ve seen Dead Sara a few times since. Great band!
Emily has worked with Courtney Love on Hole's Nobody's Daughter, Offspring, Beck, Demi Lovato, Awolnation, and even did a Doors Tribute with Robby Kreiger... So yeah, she's get a lot of credits with other bands!
This song has been on my playlist since it was aired all them years ago favourite band with Emily joining them , filled dead Sara also and so over the moon with the new LP set up new era has began
This is amazing. I just saw LP a few months before this too with my girlfriend of the time now my wife of 10 years. I love this cover and a huge Offspring fan and never seen this clip either.
Hey If you want to hear her scream check Awolnation with EMILY. SHE CAN SING ANYTHING IN ANY WAY. A TRUE GIFTED TALENT AND LP FANS SHOULD EMBRACE HER GREATNESS
Have you heard the new trash boat single, are you ready now? It’s got a long sustained scream - will not spoil too much but it’s longer than in given up
I eventually see once the new album is out where songs written for her voice i believe they will stuck with only new stuff hardly reserving old songs in live performances
Will reduce, no doubt. But she sang so well songs like Breaking the Habit, Lost, New Divide and others... I think a bunch will stay in live performances, in my pinion
I think the amount of older songs is going to decrease in a natural way, but definitely not disappear completely. They usually play 2 hour sets after all, and they can't just play the new record live and call it a day imo.... Plus I as a fan would always want songs like Numb, In The End, Breaking The Habit, What I've Done, Papercut etc to be a part of future set lists.
@@lucasdallabara7132 knew it! instantly thought so, on the live show during certain parts, and especially on "Lost", but have yet to see anyone mention it in comments

You forgot Dave Grohl and Grace Slick too :)
And Dave Grohl
Kidding Me Dave grouh!!😮😮😮
haters gonna hate you can tell a lot of these people hating on her were the same ones that drove Chester to kill himself
Courtney Love and Demi Lovato
huge recommendation for ds’s song blue was the beautiful you, great song and her vocals are wild
also their killing in the name cover is INSANE

Emily covered heart shaped box with her band Dead Sara
And it's honestly one of the best covers out there imo
@@Mr_Legionzz I agree
@@ItsDetroit Same.
Holy crap. I knew dead Sara sounded familiar.
That cover was in infamous second son

What would also be good is if Emily did songs with vocals + guitar, she's a guitarist
Omg yes gone away is hands down their best song for me❤❤❤
I was at that show, singing my guts out in the audience. Fantastic time

The track that just personally crushes me on “Post-Traumatic” is the song “Over Again”. It’s so good. But it hurts so very much. Still.
Agree 100%!
My favourite song of all time too!!! Melbourne Offspring tickets sold out the other day in like 2 minutes :(
Blue Was The beautiful You is perfect showcase for her vocals. Check it!
I start listening to the Dead Sara soft songs and really enjoyed! Like you shoud React to Anybody stripped version and heavens got a back door, Josh!
I'm literally obsessed with the stipped version of Anybody!!
This is amazing. I just saw LP a few months before this too with my girlfriend of the time now my wife of 10 years. I love this cover and a huge Offspring fan and never seen this clip either.
this is the reason why, during the livestream,i was like "this girls sound familiar,i dunno why"lol
She's actually been featured on a good amount of big artists. She was on one of Demi Lovato's song from her Pop Rock album too and she kills it there.
Can't believe you haven't heard Gone Away stripped down before. You should listen to the version they Did with Brian May recently
A whole concert with Dead Sara.
Including a version of "Killing of the name of"

I watched a live performance of Killing in The Name Of by Dead Sara a couple of nights ago. Emily absolutely killed that. 👍

You must make a video on Emily's That Just Happened interview. It shows why people like working with her.
You should check Mona Lisa from Dead Zara!
Check UnAmerican (live) by Dead Sara if you want wild side of Emily 🙂
I think she has potential
their voices sound very similar. I bet emily can be the offspring lead vocalist too^^^
I wouldn't know this song without 5FDP!
Have you heard the new trash boat single, are you ready now? It’s got a long sustained scream - will not spoil too much but it’s longer than in given up
You should also check razor red noise songs they are pretty much similar to lp
I know this song only from five finger death punsh
The original is from offspring

You're not, she really is THAT vibe

I’ve always described Dead Sara by saying they’re the love child of Fleetwood Mac and Nirvana
@@reevessmoak5425 Nice! i am deffinately checking their stuff out
So they copied of off FFDP’s cover. I thought that it would be more original!
Eh, they did this 12 years ago, if anything FFDP copied them.....
