Okay finally had some time to watch! Great collection and its cool to see how its changed and grown. I gotta say I am super bummed about that sanji cook book also its like its made for little kids lol so true.
I know right, why couldn’t they just have made it a normal hardcover or even a boring paperback volume, anything would have been better than children’s picture book quality lol
Such an awesome collection loved watching all this! Makes me wanna hoard even more manga in my library! Haha Btw, No longer human is a crazy manga adaptation to an old story that is visually illustrated by junji. Honestly it rattled me to my core. Such an a great read.
I actually read the novel a few years ago and really didn’t like it, but I trust Junji Ito to have an interesting, disturbing take on the story.

Honestly I can’t see Seven Seas letting Bloom Into You go out of print any time soon. It really seems to be one of their most popular series.
The new manga by Gengoroh Tagame is called Our Colors if you were looking for it.

I do still have regular books! Not nearly as many as I used to (and I certainly have way more manga than books now), but I still have a pretty decent collection. There are some more shelves in this room and that’s where my regular books are, along with the shelves I put up in the closet about a year ago. Space is a huge issue for me right now, which is why so much of my manga is double stacked. I also unhaul manga and books very frequently so the collection is always changing. I’ve pretty much sacrificed all my available space to make room for more books/manga since it’s my main hobby.

I believe the anime actually covers the entire series. I’ve watched the anime 3 times but I still haven’t tried the manga yet oops
When did Heavenly Delusion Vol. 2 come out? I'm just surprised Denpa actually got it out. Fairy Tail isn't bad, I enjoyed the first season of the anime. Showa a history of Japan love the same spines. Dissolving classroom was not my favorite still debating whether I should get the collectors edition this year, are you double dipping? Really need to get Pluto eventually, just keep getting told it's going oop, which doesn't seem to be the case. Happy to finally see what you have in that big tbr lol, itching to get to July to get to my 2022 collection tour, but it's much smaller, think I'm in the 300's. Also a lot of great single volumes in here, I love finding great single or very short one volume/ omnibus manga.
Heavenly Delusion 2 came out in September I think. I’m probably not going to get the collector’s edition for Dissolving Classroom, I don’t like the manga enough. Pluto definitely isn’t out of print, in fact it recently had a major restock. I’m actually thinking of making an entire video about single volume manga, I have some I want to talk about (like Utsubora).

Where the heck do you get your slam dunk and eye shield 21 volumes? I’ve looked far and wide and the ones I do find for sale are literally so expensive I’m talking 30-$60 for ONE volume. Eye shield 21 is definitely easier to find except for specific volumes from my experience but Jesus slam dunk is harder to find (at a reasonable price) as if it’s been banished, forbidden, sent to the shadow realm! I’m assuming this is because they’re older, but also really popular and sought after Causing them to be tough to come by? Or am I just unlucky and these are sacrifices and decisions a manga lover has to make?😭
Honestly, the simple answer is that I just bought them before they became difficult to find. All the volumes of Slam Dunk were readily available at all retailers when I bought the series in 2017. I can’t remember exactly where I got them but my best guess is that I picked them up during a buy 2 get 1 free sale from Barnes and Noble (back when they still did those). Eyeshield 21 was a little bit more difficult for me but I managed to find a good deal for the entire series on the mangaswap subreddit early last year.

What are your thoughts on dawn of the arcana? I see it every once in a while and it looks really good but almost no one talks about it
Well unfortunately I also can’t talk about it because I haven’t read it yet lol. I think I accidentally neglect the shojo in my collection, it’s not something I reach for a lot of the time, which I need to get better about

I think I collected that series right as there started to be rumors about it being out of print, so I got pretty lucky and didn’t struggle to find any of the volumes.

There is no shame in liking Fairy Tail.
Oh I have no shame with liking anything really, Fairy Tail just gets a lot of hate compared to most things in my collection, so I like to mention it whenever I talk about the series. I have a lot of fun whenever I read or watch Fairy Tail so I’ll never feel ashamed of liking it.
