That Ubell Blatt volume looks really nice but everything I read about the series turned me off getting it and the reviews I read were not kind to it so interested to hear your thoughts.

If you dislike Berserk, you'd hate Ubel Blatt. The characters and storyline are not interesting. The main character is described as a young boy yet every women wants to sleep with him.

Confession is best read in a cold environment to feel one with the story. Good read for winter as I've read in Dec 2024. The Tree Of Death was an interesting story, great art, finished all and was satisfied. Don't have any expectations or you'll be disappointed, read when really feel.

Nice list, im still on vol 11 of fma myself. I'm glad I decided to read it over the anime, sounds to me like brotherhood skips alot of important details. Also love how the panels are framed and artstyle.

Nice list! I'm real excited to get around to Golden Kamuy and Delicious in Dungeon hopefully sometime soon.

My favourite manga / webtoon reads of the year were (most of them are not completed yet.): Yakuza Fiancé Soara and the House of Monsters Insomniacs After School Tail of the Moon (reread- but it had been ages and I really enjoyed the sillyness again. It is a bit dated, of course) Unholy Blood and Remarried Empress (re-read as I have been following these on a weekly basis) Honorable mentions: Utena (what a weird one that is...) and The Saint's Magic Power is Omnipotent (a comfort read as there is no real danger for the protagonist at all). I am happy and surprised that I got to read slightly different genres from my go-to genres this year. I "usually" read Fantasy and Slow Burn Romance aka Yona, Skip Beat & Co. Next year, I want to continue getting into other genres. I ordered two of your recs used this morning: Delicious in Dungeon Vol. 1 and Leviathan 1 and 2. And The Strange House is on my Want-List as well. I've read the first chapter and it sounds like fun!

Will definitely check out the ones that I haven’t read yet. I am just a little bit scared to read full metal not sure I’m ready for it emotionally lol
