- Старая добрая игра от Konami, встречавшаяся на многоигровках для приставки Dendy. Однако версия для аркадного автомата немного отличается - чуть лучше графика, сложнее стало играть, вдобавок есть два уровня, которых нет на Famicom/Dendy! В моём прохождении вы увидите все уровни, которые есть в этой игре, а также два способа заработать секретную жизнь. Всего я прошёл 11 уровней (игра бесконечная) и набрал 122,250 очков.
Почти все настройки у игрового автомата стандартные за исключением сложности. Сложность выбрана максимальная - Hardest. - เกม

Absolutely amazing! Circus Charlie is one of the most WICKED hard classic arcade games of ALL TIME. I've never seen anyone dominate Circus Charlie like this, bravo my friend.

I owned the full arcade version of this game when I was a kid! Classic!
The original arcade version is insane hard, Konami had to make their home ports easier. I knew what they're doing.
I played the Famicom/NES version and it's much easier until later stages.
Actually every time when an Arcade game is ported in a home console like the NES/Famicom, the NES /Famicom version ended up always being the easier version. Every NES version of the Arcade games I played are always easier than their Arcade counterparts, Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Jr, Yie Ar Kung Fu, Mappy, Dig Dug, just to name a few. The reason why these game companies made their original Arcade versions of their games harder so you could spend more of your quarters to get better at these games :) The quarters are the revenue of these Arcade Machines.
The arcade version is much more detailed than famicom/nes version. The music though in Nintendo is much more refined.
The Famicom version is also missing quite a few levels and Charlie's love interest is completely cut off as well, making the Famicom version incomplete in comparison. The Famicom version is pretty good, but I imagine the Arcade version is better. Admitidely, I only played the Famicom version of Circus Charlie.
@@retrofan4963 Has 5 of the 6 levels, so only missing 1 level in total. Had it been released later, when NES/FC games had more memory allocated to them, it could've seen the entire game, but probably would've sold poorly due to being an older game released when better looking games were being made for the console.
@@Bloodreign1 Yep. It is a risk for a early classic Arcade game ported to an NES in the later NES lifespan. Because by that point, people are focused on the big heavy projects like Super Mario Bros 3, Metroid and Legend of Zelda. Arcade games ported to NES is seen as old news at that point. I can imagine Donkey Kong, Donkey Jr, Mappy, Circus Charlie, Yie ar Kung Fu would've had much better NES versions that are much closer to the original Arcade versions if they're developed around the late 80's when the NES has full capabilities and more memory, but they'll also get less attention because Super Mario Bros 3 and the latest Castlevania game are coming out soon.

The music on nes sucks
Used to clock this game when I was a young teenager in the local arcade . Found a cheat on the trapeze section which allowed you to get loads of extra lives . Over an hr to complete the whole game . Best spent 10p ever .

This takes me back to my childhood
This takes me back to my Wednesday afternoons at the respite home, where I used to stay for a few hours. Once I walked in, the arcade machine would be right in the corner of the dining room. I saw a social worker just hammer the game all the way in one go, and I’d just stand there amazed, especially when it came to the trapeze level. And what would I do? Get Charlie screwed each time just to see that pissed-off look on his face when he hits the ground
I played that game back in the day it was hard as hell, but took all my quarters

I noticed in 12:02, the monkey holds up the 1000 point sign like Goro/Nyamco from Mappy.
This looks much better than the NES home port.
The horse looks identical to his NES appearance.
More expensive hardware was used for the arcade original, and NES carts in those days had less RAM space to work with, not to mention smaller ROM. There was no way it could've been a 1:1 port unless released much later on, when ROM space became bigger due to better chips in the cartridges.

Circus Charlie is a great game :) I mainly played the Famicom version.While that's a great version, it's clearly missing some aspects from the Arcade version. The level from 1:56 is missing. And the girl from the end of the final stage is completely absent. Which confuses me, why did Konami leave her out in the home ports of Circus Charlie?
A lot of ports from Arcade to Famicom have missed some content. Maybe because early Famicom carts can have only 24-40 kb of memory which is not so much.
@@OmKol Understandable. Usually the Famicom and other home ports of Arcade games don't show full content because of limitations. It's just weird they left out the girl character though, since Charlie's goal is also to win her affection. They could've at-least just put her sprite in the end of the game not having to show the full ending in the Famicom and other home ports.
