High 5 God here with 2 more useless high 5 facts. There's about a quarter of a second at the very the end of the free play time after a goal is scored where you can make contact for a high 5 but it isn't counted. I'm still not sure why but we figure it might be tied to the actual replay which is slightly shorter and doesn't play out long enough to see the high 5. The goal explosion "Air Strike" completely disables low and high 5s even if you avoid being demoed by the rockets
Edit- just talked with Goku and he figured out just yesterday that the Cosmosis goal explosion from the current rocket pass also disables high 5s. So I guess any goal explosion that doesn't use the normal explosion breaks them
Not also high fives, but also the normal ones. But a High Five God probably doesn't even notice this lol
@@Monkerey haha yes the same rules apply to low 5s, but at this point I only go for those when a high 5 is impossible

Psyonix should really fix the low/high fives being disabled by some goal explosions

I loaded into a casual match as I was hitting the ball once and the ball loaded in the kickoff spot while spinning.

@@marriedtwogaming interesting. I’ve had it twice. Once like two years ago and then again a month ago. I’ve also had the ball fling up in the air like a hoops match lmao. Always a good laugh when glitches happen
@@mctime344 yeah the same thing happened to me a few times aswell but it always seems to be on kickoff with a couple second left in the match, atleast every time it happened to me it was like that

The Exotic and Black Market drops should be the reward for completing all the seasonal challenges, at minimum.. what we get right now is like a slap in the face, for all of the challenges you have to complete, just for 1 of each of the 4 normal drop types..

I feel like they should add the exotic and black market drops earned by finishing all the premium and free challenges

Some random useless facts I've noticed while playing:
-If a team forefeits before the kickoff timer ends you can use boost, you wont move but will hear and see the boost being used
-Similarly, in rumble, you can use items after the game ends(before the victory screen), nothing will happen but the animations will play
-Also in rumble, if a kickoff happens with one second left anyone can use threir items even before the kickoff starts(chaos go brrrrr)

Yea and by using teleport in rumble, you can play the ball during the kick off time before the kick off happens just by teleporting with the player behind the ball.

@@vuhzz I think that got patched at some point unless I’m misunderstanding him. Last week I got teleported by the other team during kickoff and it swapped us back. Another person on the other team then teleported with me and we got swapped back except I was facing backwards on kickoff at that point.

1:54 yeah something similar happened to me but instead of a player facing the wrong way, the ball started to roll away after kickoff

So, this is complete speculation on my part, but I think the fennec was named after the third gen mustang. That mustang was commonly called the "fox body" and the resemblance between the fennec and fox body is quite strong.
That is actually a good theory too. I used to have an '88 GT Fox Body myself. Though the "Dingo" is another animal named car as well so it could be either or.

Hey Sledge, I recently discovered a glitch in training. If you hold boost for 3+ seconds reset shot while still holding down boost, jump and let go of boost and everything on your keyboard, you will boost without pressing any buttons. The only way to stop it is to press boost again. (Only works on kbm)(Make sure to hold boost the whole time until you jump)
I joined a ranked 1s game once and waited the whole 5 minutes to get the win. No player ever joined
I used to use the X-Devil, I remember when they changed its design. I used the stripes decal on it, which used to be just 2 lines down the center. After the update, I switched to the Tech decal cuz I thought the stripes looked more like a referee shirt than racing lines after the update.
I actually have one high five as a plat after only about 300 hours of the game

In a rumble game last week, we scored a goal with like 6 seconds left and on the following kickoff, I got teleported with the opposing team twice but the game put me back in my kickoff position after each. Except I was backward when I ended up back there the second time. It was a trippy experience.
8:10 I miss ARC squadron so much man :,( I used to play it ALL the time when I was a kid, truly one of the most underrated mobile games of all time.
The soundtrack was amazing, you can still hear it when you score in the old ARC stadium map or something like that.
You can make a black octane with certain decals,also make a grey octane white.
You can do that with bakkes mod easily lmao

In rumble last night a guy on the other team scored with 1 sec left, when we spawned for the kickoff we still had our power ups and 2 of 3 cars on each team spawned backwards facing our own goals.
The still having power ups thing is normal, because there's not enough time left to count down everyone's power ups (10 second countdown)

These randoms bugs could be cosmic rays flipping bits, who knows
I've actually gotten to demo my teammate, when I did i freaked out and remembered this video, cool stuff. there's also a bug where the transition from freeplay to a game adds an extra player and 1 person can move on kickoff, hit the ball, cant see other players and disappears after the first goal.

I had a tournament match reset. Just near the end of the match wierd stuff started to happen and suddenly the count down was going. Complete reset.

me and a friend are always playing together and we have this "tradition"(?) of hunting down whoever makes a goal for the low/high five, the hunted, of course, has to avoid it, and i can confirm its a fucking pain to get a high five
Heres a fun fact. The Horsepower engine has a hidden guitar song when you dont move for about a minute. Also the iron horse engine will cough after a while

Recently I had a ranked game where both opponents left with 2 minutes left but instead of the game ended it was just me and my teammate and we just had to wait for the 2 minutes to end. Wish I saved the game but thought that was a weird glitch

Training for High-Fives might actually be worthwhile as a form of target practice since trajectory/height/speed becomes a lot less predictable, and the cars are smaller than the ball!

8:37 This is wrong, it is still orange or red when you have bad internet connection but a low ping (don't know how that's possible, but it happens to me quite often)
You are right it will turn red for stuff like packet loss. Psyonix added those other variables later. Before it was all related to ping. So you can have a situation where your ping would be considered "green" but instead is red because of another reason.

When season 5 dropped I would jump into 2s with a buddy and get into a threes match. Would happen at least once a night. This can be seen in a recent video of from Leth when he played with arsenal. Probably the most frustrating bug I have experienced. If I don’t select 3s I don’t want it lol.
That happened to me today actually. I click to join 3s and for some reason it put me into a 2s game. Me and my solo q tm8 ended up dominating 6-1 so ig it worked out but it was still weird.
I had to play an entire competive 1v1 game by myself one time. Game started but there was no opponent. Didn’t record the game but I took a screenshot

I swear demos gave points I remember getting more points than my friends who scored cause I kept demoing in comp when I was only about 5 hours into playing 😂
IFf you hit the 7 mark in a game it would give you 20 points but that's it so if you demo'd enough it could have worked. But that would be like 35 demos to equal points for a goal.

@@davidsanchez4413 Like I said in the video, common myth that gets repeated. And everyone remembers a different amount of points. I actually explored it fully in another video which included looking back at replays from launch in 2015 (I've played since then) as well as alpha and beta footage. There is nothing to back up the claim.

How do you have 0 high fives? I got to diamond at the end of last season & I have several. But I mainly go for high fives on whoever is blasted towards me by the goal explosion. It’s kinda how I learned to better my aerials. Besides cosmosis, I try to land on the ceiling of the goal in celebration. Half the time I bail because I boost down once I get upside down.
I like how you answered your own question. You have been trying for them, I mostly just try to go demo someone after the goal, same thing I've done since 2015.
