Hi thanks for the video! I got to part 4:03 but for me GAds doesn't present the option "Use different Values for each conversion".For me that option is "Use the Value from the Google Analytics 4 property", which obviously I don't want to do. I've set any GA4 conversions to secondary, but still this shows like this. How do I get my options to look the same way as yours? EDIT: I had to click on the "Use Only Google Ads for this Conversion" button which popped up above the settings.
I came across your video while looking for a solution. Thank you for creating such tutorials. I also checked your channel. It's really good; especially focusing purely on GAds w.r.t shopify.
Great info ! I would like to know why after I created a google ads conversion tag , in Tag setup section , I don't see the Set up with a Google tag option .
I believe you would need to add in the "AW-XXXXXXX" part of the script to the Google Tag for it to work, however you still need to add the 'conversion' part of the script to the order confirmation or TY page.
I'm confused as well.. I think you have some troubleshooting to do. Feel free to reach out to me via my site and share your website so I can take a look.
My Shopify Checkout have 2 Tracking script Boxes one for "Post-purchase page" and one for "Order status page", Should i paste the tracking code in both the boxes ? Thanks
It's always good to have multiple data points to cross-reference and ensure accuracy. As you may observe, I keep GA4 as a 'Secondary' conversion and the manual one as 'Primary' as the latter is usually more accurate. I can also use this as a reference to troubleshoot if something goes wrong with my conversion tracking.
For our clients that have an intensive manual Google ads conversion tracking set up and where we use the "Google and TH-cam" app, we leave it turned on mainly for TH-cam and Google Analytics.
According to the script that Shopify has provided, it should do this automatically within Google ads for you. shouldn’t really be a need for using google tag manager. However if you’re wanting to include or exclude the shipping and taxes from your purchase value results, you may want to consider using tag manager as a separate conversion event tag manager to separate these values out in Google ads.
Only video that explained it correctly, up to date, and to the point. Thanks Tim your a real one!
Cheers! Glad you got value

Hi Tim. I made it through all of the steps, but now Tag Manager says 38 of my pages are untagged. (78 are included.) How can I fix this problem?
Without seeing the accounts, it’s hard for me to understand what the problem is

Hi , currently Shopify remove the google ads conversion article . Does it mean the Google tag function is not available ?
Yeah I noticed they recently removed this as well. Not this is spefically for the script pn the order confirmation or TY page
Tim, what should I do if my google tag says its on every page but also says it not on my website at all. So confused.

Order Status Page - I haven’t had experience nor seen the Post Purchase Page yet.
I don't understand why you added two purchase conversions, one through Google Analytics and another manually, instead of just one.

Thanks Tim. In this set up, do you have conversion tracking disabled in the "Google and TH-cam" app in Shopify?

Can i track purchase value without tag manager
