    Hi this was an ama zing vide. I'm new to PPC. I have few doubts it can be long but please I need some help One of my client has both goole&YT sales channel and simprosys. 1. I'm seeing in data sources in GMC as contentAPI, Is it google & sales channel being used as my source in GMC? than simprosys 2. My current campaigns are running so if the GMC is not utilizing the simprosys will it be a good move to make the change? Doesn't it changes everything? Which might lead to I need to start again 3. Can i use simprosys as my supplementary feed to have product labelling

      Thanks appreciate the kind words. Here's my answer: 1, If you're using G&YT app, you can disconnect/disable it if you're wanting to use Simprosys. 2. If you change over to Simprosys, you will need to update your campaigns as it's likely to change the product IDs. We got could out by this ourselves. 3. That I'm not sure about. You would have to check in the Simprosys help support.

      Depends on yourself.. If the store is small, I would personally set up G&YT for all teh secondary conversions and set up a proper conversion tag for purchases purely for proper Enhanced Conversions

      Yes, absolutely! Start adding negative keywords as soon as you see irrelevant or too broader search terms begin appearing in the Search Term report.

      I just presented the options, you choose which one is best for you. Some may say that too many apps could slow the site down as well or would prefer a clean installation by adding the code in the <head>

      That has no become a blackbox that you can't get access too unfortunately. I'm equally annoyed as you've paid for clicks on these KWs and you're not given the data on them as Google considers them not important or not searched enough. My question on this is how are you supposed to truly optimize your campaigns if Google doesn't give you data you've paid for. To answer your question, I'm still seeking a solution myself.

    I am getting a message when I try and enter the promotion title as "5% off" saying "Enter an ID that contains only letters, numbers, hyphens and underscores" but I need to add the percent sign to show it's 5% off!? Hope you can advise! Cheers John

      You still have to use an ID but it won't show that test in your Shopping Ads. It will display the promotion as per the settings you created the promotions as.

    I do not have Growth. I have Analytics: Summary - Products - Online Store - Physical Address Reason I wanted to go thru your video--to see if I missed something. My account was suspended for a few months. All parts of my store have been approved except products and yet many large retailers are using the same supplier for the same products. And no info from GMC on what the issue is. I have spent hours removing products with measurements and resizing images so they are square and making sure they are large enough.

      You may have to disconnect your Google account from the app and try again. Just make sure the email you use also has access to Google ads.

    How do I navigate a situation where only about 5% of my products in the merchant center does not have GTIN? Becuase I can't use this rule in your video for all my products as most of the products have GTIN.

      As far as I know, you have to try and set up the identifier_ exists as [false] for these products, whoever I am yet to learn how to do this in the new version of the Google merchant center. You might be able to do this with a Shopify app or woo commerce plug-in if you’re running WordPress. As soon as I learn how to do this in the Google merchant center , I’ll create the video for this.

    Hey Tim, thank you for your insights. just found your channel! We've been having Google tracking issues for a bit and our store is fairly large with many SKUs, over 1500. More recently our ads tracking has gone beserk and Shopify is also deprecating the additional scripts as you know, within checkout settings. At the moment we use Google Channel to run our GA4 integration and upon viewing events for the first time, it's not showing any at all! I tried disconnecting and reconnecting the GA4 account but still doesn't populate the events. From my understanding with the Google channel app, this is done automatically whereby Shopify pushes the events and data to GA4? Is this correct? Edit: Because of deprecated scripts & the above issue for events, I am working on creating a custom pixel using GTM to track all events with manual triggers, variables etc. Would this be the best recommended option?

      Great! Glad you found me! "From my understanding with the Google channel app, this is done automatically whereby Shopify pushes the events and data to GA4?" - technically speaking it should be. However, it may be the case that the events may need to manually created in GA4. For robust events, it's always best to set them up in GTM. This video I created is just a simplified version of getting the properties set up in Google. In the future, I'll look to create more advanced videos on this, but we do provide full conversion tracking in GA4 and Google Ads as a service which uses the datalayer elements which are then set up as tags and triggers in GTM.       @@launchpresso Awesome! Thank You! So it looks like events were actually recording but it seems like events weren't firing same day, had to adjust the timeline 🤦. However purchase event is not showing up in the system which is definitely weird. Would it be alright to setup some events with GTM and some with automated setup? Or go with full GTM setup

      @@shivyram Glad you got it working. With the amount of SKUs you had I would consider a full datalayer/GTM event setup. Also how much revenue are you doing per month? I would do it if it's over $50k/month.
