GREAT VIDEO HERE, really like the advice, now should we do this when we are not in a seasonal time like now which is Christmas, when people visit my store I want them to see the christmas tshirts first and not random ones, what are your thoughts ?
Your videos are so helpful! Thank you so much for all of the information. You are so clear and concise in your wording and explanations and provide excellent details. I recently learned from a lady who showed how to set up an Etsy POD shop - she was wonderful. But, she has only been at this for about 2 years. So, when I stumbled upon your videos, it was so nice to get professional training to add to the knowledge I had just started to incorporate. I know I'm on the right track!
Great video as always Greg! Thank you so much for the info. Been watching your videos for a long time now and haven't started my POD business yet, hopefully this one will get me going. Thank you again!
Right on! I hope you get into POD for 2024 and have a successful year. Here's my best all-in-one POD video: th-cam.com/video/oWh4PP68RsE/w-d-xo.html I hope that helps get you going!
Hi Greg do you ever do an Amazon search for the phrase you used to check if someone else had already used it on a thirt? And if they did, what then? Great content btw, much appreciated!
Sometimes, but it does not matter if it's been used before as long as the phrase is not formally trademarked and the designs are not exactly the same. More on that here: th-cam.com/video/-hV1199wN0k/w-d-xo.html Hope that's helpful!
Hi Greg I listened to another video of yours and it was about side hustles that did not work and I think AI was a part of the reason so it is ok in POD eh?I did use Chat and then I saw your video so am not sure what to do.Thanks again for your videos.
Greg, I haven't heard you mention Canva. Could you please share your thoughts on why you have or have not used Canva? Thank you again for all your sharing. Definitely something you don't have to do yet, you do and it helps so many people! 🙏
Great question. I’ve used it in the past for tshirt designs but have switched to Placeit because not everything on Canva is copyright free, and I felt the design templates were basic compared to Placeit. I hope that helps!
Great question. At my absolute peak, I was doing 50 new designs per day. That was pretty crazy though. I would say 5-10 per day is a really good pace. If you pick 5 good sites to upload to, that will give you 25-50 uploads per day (which is plenty I think). When starting on the new sites, focus on good design sub-niches ( th-cam.com/video/RUv8uT8Xh_E/w-d-xo.html ) and start uploading slow so they know you're not a spammer (only 1-2 per day for a week or so, then 2-3 for another week or so, etc.). Hi Greg, thanks for this video. I was wondering about a scenario I found. I'll be brief. Only 23 results for the keyword, 4.6 million absr, competition - A. But the search volume is 267,000. The 23 results are poor effort designs. Am I seeing this right as a huge opportunity even though the absr is very high. Is it just because the products available are not worth buying? Also, what is the time period for search volume? Is this a monthly or yearly count? Thanks again so much for your videos!
I real like that you took the time to create such an informative video. I intend to try this and will let you know how it turns out. Thank you very much!☺
Yes that was really helpful, thank you. One question, does Merch informer only give data info on t shirts or is it used for any product? The example of the table on coffee and fishing might be low on t shirts but perhaps this slogan content is found on other products to be competitive and high.
Such and helpful video thank you so much. My question is which platform are great for POD i am struggling for the platform because some tham don't do the market and mu design suck at the same page and know one buys it 😅 hope for your reply 🙂

Thank you for this! I've just found you and watching lots of your videos. Can I please ask if you don't recommend using Printify and Etsy? They seem popular with a lot of people but I've noticed you don't really mention them. Also can I ask if you pre pay on the POD websites you use? I know this is the case with Printify. Thanks in advance.
Excellent question! Yes, that's right and here are two videos explaining why: th-cam.com/video/fJY9f9dY_nQ/w-d-xo.html and this one th-cam.com/video/OfanevbiXog/w-d-xo.html
Hey ! For the trademark checker is that just for slogans on apparel or just slogans in general like if I wanted to check first slogans to put on candles , bags , etc ?
Hey Greg! I have so many questions 😟 Ugh! I’m struggling, lol. So, first, I can’t find your link for Printify. Don’t you get a commission from that? Also, don’t you have some courses on Udemy or teachable? Please send me links. Thanks so much!
Hey Patti! No worries, it's a lot at first. For Printify, I actually don't use it because it's active style meaning you have to put in a lot of ongoing work to get buyers and manage customer service (more on that here: th-cam.com/video/OfanevbiXog/w-d-xo.html ). As for Udemy and Teachable, I have courses on Udemy but I think you're going to get better information for free here on TH-cam. Mainly I'd refer you to these two videos to get a really good understanding of the entire POD process: th-cam.com/video/oWh4PP68RsE/w-d-xo.html and this one th-cam.com/video/RUv8uT8Xh_E/w-d-xo.html Always here when you need me!
They still have it, but I'd recommend replacing Teespring with Teepublic. Teepublic made a big name for themselves with more traffic and higher quality printing. They don't have a trust score either 👍 More on it all here if you need it: th-cam.com/video/oWh4PP68RsE/w-d-xo.html
if im researching print on demand for teepublic for example, if a sub niche has like 10 pages of shirts is that too many? At what point is there too many pages of competition?
Yeah that's probably going to be too many assuming they are all pretty close matches to the search term. This video should help: th-cam.com/video/RUv8uT8Xh_E/w-d-xo.html
Great Video Greg, very informative, but I cant seem to register for merch informer, keeps telling me to add a valid email address, am I missing some important step?
Hey Greg, I remember from an older video you talked about needing to adjust the pixels of the designs after they are complete for easier upload to websites? Is that still the case? If yes, what were the sizes? Thank you!
hello Greg, i really enjoyed your instructional videos in so much that i studied them all and started creating t-shirts step by step. Uploading them to TEE Public i just received a termination notice for infringement how can this happen after following everything you show on your videos. any help before i try to list on other websites would be appreciated.
ThankU 💜Thank YOU Greg.... for sharing your information, I'm learning so much great stuff, I also appreciate the way you convey the info, you don't drag it out, over an over lol its fresh n interesting, to the point. Nice. ✨ ps Excited plus :)
Hi Greg.... When i searched trademarks on merch informer most of the niches were already checked and are safe to use...only a few were not checked yet.... That's before i clicked check trademarks.... So after clicking it...there were all safe to use ...So i was wondering if it's safe to also use the ones that were checked before and is safe to use..probably someone checked and used them... should i stay away from them
No worries, they are all good to use then. Merch informer has updated it to check them right away so we don’t have to click refresh. It doesn’t always get them all but it gets most of them pretty quickly 👍🏼
How many prints would you suggest per niche or sub niche to make this successful. You did say in one of the videos but i cant remember wha you said or find it. Please help
Awesome videos Greg. Question though. I tried to get accepted through Amazon to sell designs. Got rejected. In one of your videos you said to keep trying. How?
Thanks, as for Amazon you can reapply using a different email address each time. Here's the video with my best tips for the application too: th-cam.com/video/sKP0AOVbiq8/w-d-xo.html Good luck!
What do you think about merch informers trademark protection for google chrome as added protection because put in my phrases at merch informer and it was okayed, but then i got 2 rejections. I am wondering what the fastest way to make sure to verify it would be ?Thanks for the videos Greg.
You mentioned that you now post on the marketplace and let those sub-niches sell. You mention a link for that strategy but I don't see the link. Am I missing it?
Hey Greg, Great educational content and love how you get straight to it. I was curious if you have a video on "Kittl" vs "Placeit" as I can see that "Kittl" seems to have recently added allot of AI tools to help with design and improvement of existing designs. But is "Kittl" also copyright free & commercially usable?
I love your videos, they are very informative and I have learned a lot. I really want to try print on demand but I am having a little problem. I applied with Merch on Demand and they denied me. In your videos you said you can reapply but when I try I get the same rejection statement and they are telling me I can't reapply. What can I do if anything to reapply after be rejected?
Thanks! You can reapply using a different email address each time. Here's the video with my best tips for the application too: th-cam.com/video/sKP0AOVbiq8/w-d-xo.html Good luck!
Hi Greg ! I started to design my first t- shirt yesterday but everytime when i open it the background is black.... What am i doing that is wrong.... I did a couple of them but it comes out the same everytime....please help 😔
I think you need to make your background transparent. Depending on the platform you're using, they may have a tool to make it transparent, or you need to save/download it with a transparent background. Just from what you mentioned, that is my best guess. Hope it helps and good luck.
If you are using Canva, then 2 possibilities could be an issue that I can think of. 1st: Maybe you have a design over a design like a square box behind something. Recommend copy design. In the new one, look at all elements and see if something is hiding in there without ruining the original. 2nd: Open the downloaded file and make sure that the black box is not there. Sometimes, when a transparent design is downloaded, the picture we see of the item will appear only black, but if you open it all the way, it might be the actual design you want. If you are using another design tool, the process might be the same. I hope that helps.
When setting up the Amazon Merch account should I set up a new account using my new POD Gmail account, or try setting it up with my current personal Amazon account, or does it matter?
Great question! It won't make a difference so you can use either. Here's my best tips for the Amazon application: th-cam.com/video/sKP0AOVbiq8/w-d-xo.html and always remember if you don't get in on the first try you can always reapply with new emails 👍 Good luck!
For Merch Informer the code Greg20 at checkout should give you 20% off. For Placeit, the link in the description has the 15% off discount built in and it applies to both the annual plan and the month to month plan 👍🏼
Is there a program other than Merch Informer that you can recommend. It will not recognize my email aol account so it won't let me register. I have notified them. They said they fixed it. They didn't. A different program?
It's truly hit or miss on the first application. These are my best tips: th-cam.com/video/sKP0AOVbiq8/w-d-xo.html and if you don't get accepted on the first try, you can always reapply as many times as needed with different email addresses 👍

… Love what u do lil’bro. Would ask that u create a video that will teach how to create a copy right for those designs that r really “original” that one would truly desire to hold a right over for a certain period of time. How to do it, where to go, +/- whathe cost for it is. May be a pro/con of owning the right of a slogan/design, et cetera. Also, since u have been doing this for sooo long, would ask that in the creation of such tutorial video of “how to copyright an item or slogan,” that u share ur ideas & thoughts abouthisubject of copyright & Y u may do it as well(?), or Y u do not like to do it ??? I feelike this information would benefit ur following subscribers a Sole lot. Thankx for ur consideration of this comment/inquiry/request. B Blest.
Thank you for the information, I will try it again!
Thank your

Is it possible to start trying to get into this using only an android phone?

Hi Chris i did tap on the transparent box for background. It was checkerend. But after downloading it was black. Only the words appeared
I'm using Placeit
If you are using Canva, then 2 possibilities could be an issue that I can think of. 1st: Maybe you have a design over a design like a square box behind something. Recommend copy design. In the new one, look at all elements and see if something is hiding in there without ruining the original. 2nd: Open the downloaded file and make sure that the black box is not there. Sometimes, when a transparent design is downloaded, the picture we see of the item will appear only black, but if you open it all the way, it might be the actual design you want. If you are using another design tool, the process might be the same. I hope that helps.
@@chrisporter6572 Thanks Chris let me ... Thank you i will try to do that. Will get back to you . Fingers crossed 🤞😊
Heyy
Have you made any video on hight ticket affiliate marketing??
Excellent. Thank you.
Hi Greg ! Do you have a coupon for a percentage off for the $9.99 or is the coupon just for the month to month one.
For Merch Informer the code Greg20 at checkout should give you 20% off. For Placeit, the link in the description has the 15% off discount built in and it applies to both the annual plan and the month to month plan 👍🏼
@@GregGottfried ok Thanks Greg !!!

Is there a program other than Merch Informer that you can recommend. It will not recognize my email aol account so it won't let me register. I have notified them. They said they fixed it. They didn't. A different program?

I have to ask. Why is tee public not showing my listing in search? They won't give me a reason why.
Can a newcomer get into Amazon merch on demand easily?
It's truly hit or miss on the first application. These are my best tips: th-cam.com/video/sKP0AOVbiq8/w-d-xo.html and if you don't get accepted on the first try, you can always reapply as many times as needed with different email addresses 👍
Great video

My version of Merch Informer does not look like yours.
They just changed the layout on a couple features lately. Here’s the most updated tutorial for the same process: th-cam.com/video/I3p1ow63i-A/w-d-xo.html
