Thank you for the video and the great information. Your advice has been pointing me in the right direction and I am very excited to see where this journey will take me!
Question! How many designs per niche should I make? Can I make as many designs per niche as I want or would you recommend making a certain amount of designs per niche (say 10-15) and then pick a new niche to design for?
Hey Greg, thanks for video, great info as always. I was wondering if you could tackle a topic that's been brewing in my mind: General vs. Niche Storefronts. Specifically, which online platforms are best suited for each model. It would be great to hear your opinion on the topic. Thanks!
Thanks and great question. In short, back in the day it used to be niche storefronts, but now the sites have pretty much all gone away with the storefronts and focus on marketing the listings individually on the marketplace. So now I say general is 100% okay.
Thanks for the video. My question is not related to niches, but in terms of product/service quality (printing, fabric, customer service) which one of the passive platforms would you recommend us? And is there any possibilities to put t-shirts label with your own logo with these sites? Thanks a lot
Hey Greg, I'm getting ready to design some t-shirts for Amazon Merch. I'm having a hard time deciding whether I should use my own artwork (I'm an artist) or create designs that I think will be more likely to sell, even if they're less artsy. Can you give me some advice so I can get started? I'm worried that my art might be too niche. Any advice would help!
hey Greg, i love your videos, very informative. I was just wondering how long it took to start selling shirts in general. Ive followed all your steps and made several niches for about a week now.
I got into PoD as a side hustle/hobby for the things I love which is anime and gaming but hasn’t been doing too well. Would you say Print on Demand is not about producing for the things you’re into but go into one of those niches you’ve talked about?
Wonderful video! Could you please suggest why it would not be a good idea to do different designs for two POD sites? Just wondering your thoughts since you have the best ideas & advice on TH-cam that is put together professionally. Thank you 😊
Thanks for your informative videos. One question I have - once I've identified a sub-niche if I then search Merch Informer for that sub-niche + tshirt I find that the competition on that is high. Eg, mechanical engineer is low but mechanical engineer tshirt is high. Does that mean its not worth bothering, or would it be better to look for different POD products? I'm finding it very confusing!
Hello Greg! Every time I do niche research on a Merch informer, I find good sub-niches with low (green) scores but when I scroll down those same niches with a shirt or sweatshirts mostly have high (red) scores. So It gets confusing. Can you please guide and share your experience. Thank you so much
Greg I have a question about the discount on the 2 sites. I joined them both and the first one showed the price on the right side without the discount and then with the discounted price. When I put my credit card it debited the full price. And I did not receive the discount, even though it showed on the screen. The second one (the 20% one) did not give me the discount and also did not address it. They just automatically charged me me the monthly fee. Do you know what happened and if it can be fixed?
Hey thanks for asking and sorry for the trouble! For Placeit that’s strange, but I’d reach out to them and they should be able to sort it quickly. I have heard of that happening to one other person and they got customer service to correct it quickly. For Merch Informer did you enter the code greg20 at checkout? If not then I’d shoot them a quick message too and they should have no problems correcting that as well. Sorry for all the trouble, I hope it gets sorted quickly!
@@GregGottfried thanks. I will try that. I am so eager to get started, but I have to keep watching the videos over and over. I think I must just be scared to take the leap. It's a total waste of time, u can watch ads for 30 minutes and you'll be paid 0.0002 usd and maybe the minimum withdrawal amount is 50 usd, how many hours are you going to watch ads to reach the 50 usd?
I've watched most of you POD tutorials. I am struggling with dimensions. I completely new to POD an designing. When I search this subject, I still am having issues with it. A lot of my designs won't upload due to it being too small. Help!!!

Please, do I need to have my own website before I can start doing it? or how do I start? because I wish to start right now, but I need someone to put me through. Thanks for your understanding.
Hello Greg, Your videos are so helpful. They are so well thoughtout and your passion to share your knowledge and wisdom is obvious. Hmm. I’m not a fan of Etsy for reasons like this. I recommend using other print on demand websites like Teepublic, RedBubble, and Merch On Demand. They are much better in my experience.
