from the last vid, i did a cb7 rear disc brake conversion and the E-brake cables are different between the drums and the disc where they pull the caliper so u need a replacement, also a good time to get new softlines if ur doing the conversion. also, the rear toe arm bolt is usually rusted to the sleeve of the bushing, best to sawzall it out, and replace with meganracing arms, or u can source a toe-arm bolt from a later accord but u need to re-grind the eccentric washer to match if reusing non adjustable arms.
Man I wish they would sponsor a set for my build. But they only make the old orange ones for mine. I had them on mine and you could slam the front just not the rear, had to get creative for the rear. But they rode pretty bad and I got a $1k+ set of coils on now and they don’t go low at all but ride great. Gonna get bcs extreme lows next unless maxpprods make their updated set for my car
@@costly_cb7 buddies brother had a torch at I got an hour, and an angle grinder, to top it off I went through two blades and got it off, the right rear side was fine some how tho
@@costly_cb7 I wanted to j32 swap when it blew up but I ended up buying the 10th gen civic si but I would still buy another one if I could find one in pristine shape
Nah bro you could slam it. I got maxspeeding rods coils on my G35 and it rides clean bouncy but handles way better than stock suspension. I got the damper coilovers kit witch was more in the pricy side but we’ll worth it. You could lower the car and lift whenever needed 🔥🫡!

Yeah I'm going to have to get creative if I want to lower this thing all the way on this set
“All 3 lined up, what a joke” 😂😂😂
On my em2 the rear suspension strut bolts out me 2 days behind cancelling the car show
@@Davidsdynamix yeah all my cb7s have been like that. I've always had to cut or torch them out it's awful

manual swap gonna be sick also cant wait to see what wheels you get
Truthfully, I've owned 3 7th gen 6-6 accords, but I've never done coils on them. It looks pretty dang easy.
You can get really low using Tein coilovers. They are a bit more on the pricier side but they're definitely worth it
@@jayrubiooo I've always wanted a pair of Teins, maybe one day!
How many miles would you say that Accord has left?
@@shez718 well I've been keeping up with maintenance and it has 0 mechanical issues so I don't see why it couldn't go another 100,000 miles at least
SLAM IT
yessss
you cant build a 7th gen without the hfp front and rear lips
Thanks, I'll keep that in mind. I'm relatively new to this platform and was looking for some good body mod options.
SLAM IT! YOLO drop them springs. lol let that top hat be free. lmao
I'm trying to control myself and be responsible over here 😂😂
Had a 6-6 05 made it to 600k miles before it died lol I miss it
That is actually crazy. You should get another one
