The deflation adaptor shown in this video is for the top of the lazy spa. You will find another deflation adaptor in the box (similar looking to the inflation adaptor, but slightly shorter and is hollow inside). for deflating the actual hot tub.
Brilliant. Well demonstrated and explained. Thanks for making this video, it has saved me a lot of time and trouble. Where would we be in this modern world without people like you and TH-cam ?😊.

Hello. Do you know of if there is any air filter inside the unit? Once it sucks air into to water, there should be a filter for the air... and how to clean it? Thanks
It could be seeping into the structure somewhere, ours does but only a very tiny bit. You'll never find it though, so don't worry about it. just empty it out of the valve port whenever you refresh the water.
I need to deflate my st moritz but I can’t find the attachments. Where could I by then from? Don’t mind buying them offline but I want to make sure I get the correct ones.
I am getting an E02 error when I am trying to deflate the tub. It will only work for 20 seconds or so before it stops. Do you have any advice on what I am doing wrong? Thanks.
E02 while deflating? That's mad because E02 is a water flow problem. Try slapping the side of the unit with your palm in case the flow sensor has become dislodged. OR did you find another solution (it's been a while, sorry)
Hi, thank you for the videos, they have been a god send over the last 24 hours of me setting up my St Moritz!! I just wondered if there was any idea of when you’ll be releasing the video about the best/most economical way to keep the tub running? I have put mine in the conservatory so it can be used all year without getting cold outside in winter! Huge thanks again for all your wisdom and help 🤩x
The airjets are a simple on/off feature (some models do have 2 speeds tho), so not sure how interesting that might be as a video. I might do something about cleaning out the pump unit. I'll think about that
Hello bro Hello brother, can you help me? I bought one, the Cancun version. I inflated it but I felt that I needed to inflate it a little and it is deflating. Could it be that it is not normal for it to deflate? Should I go under the warranty or what?
BRILLIANT - this just answered the question about the 'contraption' I found with my new spa and wasn't sure what it was for!! This is fabulous - thank you!! OK, now I just want to know - does your pool stay full inflated for months on end???
@@AbouttheHouse0 thank you! The one I had previously was a gift from friends, who said the bubbles didn't work - I have now realised they themselves self-inflate the pool - I never missed the bubbles till I had them - now I just can't get enough of my new spa!! Best purchase EVER! Thank you for your incredibly helpful videos!! I have learned so much this time round 🙂
Thank You, no where in the instructions (sic) is there any mention of what this part is, or is used for. Two days of scratching my head then 2:44 of your video for the AHH Haaa moment.
Are you sure you are using the correct adapter? You could be accidentally using the inflation adapter instead of the deflation adapter. The deflation adapter has two cutouts around the end you push into the valve. If all else fails, simply unscrew the whole valve and let it down naturally.
Hi there! Thanks for all the great videos, very helpful indeed! We have a lay z spa Paris and the instructions are rubbish so your videos have helped a lot! Please could you make a video on the best way to save electricity whilst running the spa? Do you leave your spa on constantly? If not do you leave just the filter on? We only use our spa on weekends really so I have been switching it off through the week then heating it back up but I am not sure if this is costing more than leaving it on! Many thanks for any help on this!😁
Turning it off for a week and heating it up for weekends is innefficient. I would suggest setting the heat during the week at 5 or 6C below your use temp. Use the timer on a Friday night to bring it back up to usage temp. It's also important to run the filter pump at least a few hours each day for the chlorine to do it's work. If you have an old bed quilt (or don't mind buying a cheap 13 tog), put it between the inflatable lid support and the main cover to cut the heat loss during the week (it really does work). That will cut the power use while it's not being used during the working week.
I'm getting an E02 error when trying to deflate my hot tub... There is no water flow cause it's empty so why am I getting a water flow error? What am I doing wrong?
@@AbouttheHouse0 too late that was a month ago lol I just rolled on it to deflate it cause I couldn't get it to work. I followed the instructions to the letter... Not sure what was going on. Guess we'll figure it out next year lol
You cannot remove the middle shader valve or I couldn’t and the only valve that fits is the inflated valve. I just removed the rubber check valve out of the inflated valve with needle nose plyers and bobs your uncle. Good video otherwise thank you! I wonder if your version differs slightly from others?
Oh, it's back up 👍 we weren't going to let this sunny 🌞 weather go to waste. It was due a water change and we wanted to reposition it so an ideal opportunity to make this video.

Thing is, I'm old enough to remember TC on TV in his prime.
Thanks for explaining the principal behind it and close ups of the valve assembly

Awesome. Welcome aboard
Lol thanks for the clear instructions I managed to get mine down brilliant. All I need now is one on how to get it back in the box, grrrrr !!!
Glad it helped Christine
Hi please could you help with getting trapped water out of the liner at all? I can hear water inside when the empty tub is moved. Many thanks.
Tip it on it's side with the valve at the bottom and open the valve. It should be possible to get all but a bit out.
You sir are amazing, you have saved me so much time and effort with my Lay-z spa. Thank you
How do you inflate the bottom of hot tub . Mine has a crease . Thanks 😅
The base (bottom) does not inflate. It's just thick material. Hence the need to insulate under the tub th-cam.com/video/N45mC8BGvBM/w-d-xo.html
Followed instructions for my Bali hot tub but still seem to have water in the tub somewhere sounds like it's in the walls?
Any ideas?

Hi there. I seem to have water / condensation between the liner of my Lazyspa Hawaii. Will the hose remove any water as it deflates it? Thanks !
How about a video on using the pump bubble setting and hose to blow out any water remaining in the pump unit?

I might do something about cleaning out the pump unit. I'll think about that

I keep getting an error 02 message when trying to deflate . What am I doing wrong g please
Is the water pump inlet blocked?
I can’t seem to get the black deflate connector to fit seems loose and no air coming out apart from initial release… what am I doing wrong?
How do you intend to run your hot tub with the soaring price of energy? Especially after yesterday's announcement about the energy cap.
Iam getting the E02 error while doing this, the water pumps are not connected to the pool anymore - what causes this?

Planet rock listener … Kudos !
Are there other radio stations then?
Been to every Rockstock (except '21) too. Will be there in Dec 👍
Hi, will this dry the water out that gets in too?
No, you'll need to get that out seperately.
This is great thank you so much for sharing I will be trying this I will be getting a intex very soon cant wait

Hi I seem to have the black hose but I don't appear to have adapter, do you know where I can buy one from please?
UK: amzn.to/3hmkMsn
How about the lay z spa lid, how is that deflated?
I need to get me rubber gaskets. They don’t have the right size at the hardware store. What do I do?
Use O rings. there is a supplier on Ebay Uk who sells every size conceivable (can't remember the store name though)
Thank you 🙏 So useful 🙂 Have a good weekend
Spot on thanks matey, exactly what I needed
Just heard Wyatt mentioned you on Planet Rock radio haha.
I have an Intex SPA and the actual apparatus has a deflation port..
You sir are a legend 👍
Thanks, Colin
I'm doing everything exactly as shown in the video but nothing happens. What can I possibly be doing wrong? Please help!

Make sure the water flow function is turned OFF and that you're not accidentally activating it instead of the airjet pump

Wyatt says thanks and what year did you go to Rock stock LOL
It was all working fine over the course of a month, suddenly, my spa's PRCD plug trips off as soon as I press the reset button to turn it on
Electrical fault, either with the RCD itself or the pump unit. If it's new take it back under warranty.
@@AbouttheHouse0 That's what I did. at the store where I bought it.
Thanks, so clever....I feel dopy
Ha ha, everyone knows something but no-one knows everything!
As mentioned by Wyatt on planet rock
Water is coming out of my pump when I’m deflating mine!
Just residual water, presumably, not a continuous flow?
The sucker does not work messagee02 no water detected
Could be a blockage in the pump or the impeller is loose on it's shaft. You can get repair kits on eBay, but you'll have to take the pump apart.
Ah yes but when is it going back up? 😁
