It's weird to think that in Spaced, Simon Pegg and Jessica Stephenson wanted Julian Barrett to play Brian, and Mark Heap was the second choice after him. Jessica mentioned this on Richard Herring's Leicester Square Theatre podcast. Although Julian would have been great, it's strange to think that Mark wasn't their first choice.
Thanks for the upload, these were my favourite sketches from my favourite sketch show. I don't think there has ever been a better sketch show than Big Train and I include Python in that.
Now that has taken things in a sordid unpleasant direction Stephen. Ren was just making a light hearted observation. There's no need for that! Really...
Big Train 2002, Peep Show 2015, The Day Today 1994, Alan Partridge 2010, Armstrong and Miller 2010, Little Britain 2005 - this type of English humour is now historical. The new crass multi-cultural pc "English" humour is stale. Asians, Africans, middle-class whites all competing without any connection to the general populace. Quiz shows with the "new comedians" are so cheap to make.
The sound of them running in the distance is just so stupid and random lol, bloody love this show.
It's what makes the skit so good!
What flavour?....
Hnnnggggggggggg
😂😂😂😂
The absurdity of the cops just appearing out of absolutely nowhere 😂😂😂
This sketch was tailor-made for Mark Heap - Brilliant.
1:24 Yes, you can see Alan Statham busting to get out.
Criminally underused actor.
That running away sound 😂
Mark Heap is fantastic here, so so good.

Mark Heap is a genius so underrated
I love these people! Everything they're in is usually pretty good.
2 of my favourite ever sketches from Big Train! Thanks for uploading!
"what flavour! brilliant

Python is shite
Ah a Jam sketch on Big Train!
Was thinking that - I know Chris did some of the sketches in the first series, I wonder if this was one of them ?
For me, the use of the word "session" will forever be related to Mr Gardine and his house.

1:16 Kevin Eldon on the point of corpsing there... wonderful.
I get the feeling that it wouldn't really matter what flavour the crisps were
I think he would have been very excited at the thought of salt and vinegar on her flesh wounds...

It wouldn't matter what flavour, what matters is that the flavour is described. It's all about the details ;)
Brilliant!
this has nothing to do with comedy, this is purely for seeing Mark Heap in all his oddness
You know you've *really* done wrong when the ducks *threaten* you with the *swans*
Genius
Whenever i get the chance i run down a corridor like that
OI!
It is not a python rip off. It is original in its own right. Like saying all rock n roll is a Chuck Berry rip off.
Big Train should have been at least as big as the Fast Show!
This is totally Python.
Funny!!!
Is this therapist operating in Titz hotel?
so Pythonesque
Outstanding. Where did humour disappear to?
Mark Heap is terrrific.
And he's brilliant at juggling
JayUppercase
Oh, look! Oranges!
Monty python part 2
Very Pythonesque!
More like monty python
@@fauntleeeeroyMore like monty pythonesque.
Lol
What fruit machine is that one?
What flavor?
We'll never know 😔
Monty Python Ripoff...
This was made first

Add "Man stroke woman" as well
Such a lot of racists on the Internet.
@@reav3rtm 'Man take woman from behind.'
I can't believe you put Little Britain in with the rest of them. Something isn't just funny because it's not "PC". It's crass and childish humour.
How have you brought race into this. Fucking losers
Not feeling anything funny
