    I use it as my long distance trainer. The pro is great but I need the Boston’s for the days that I just need the miles. It’s stable yet fast and is good for heavier runners who strike in forefoot. Heel strikers won’t have much luck with this shoe or those who enjoy a super plush feeling shoe. Good review thanks!

      Thanks for taking the time to share your experience in the Boston 10. I always like to hear how they are working out for other runners. It helps out our fellow runners as well who are trying to decide if they want to buy these or not. Have a great weekend and thanks again.

    Good review. You nailed it. Me as a slightly heavier runner (85kg) enjoy the Boston very much on longer runs with a varity of paces. Just a good training Partner to the Adios Pro and the fit is almost perfect for me.

    My Boston 10 doesn’t have that weird sound you described in the video. It actually fits me a little short compared to other brands of running shoes I have, not to a point my toes are cramped. They’re perfect for an easy recovery run after running in vaporfly, alphafly and of course adios pro 1 or 2, they’re way more softer. Boston 10 does get a bit softer after breaking it in.

    I got a pair of these and they are just ok. I do agree that it needs some form of replacement. If they could put a liner like what saucony put in the ride or triumph this would make the shoe a more enjoyable ride from day 1. Break in is required and better after 50 miles.

    I struggled with these as rather heavy and very firm with all that Lightstrike. Maybe, as a previous Boston fan, I was disappointed that they changed its purpose but whatever they call it they just seemed to have moved away from a lightweight trainer to just another daily trainer like say a Pegasus 37/38 and also found it bit similar to the Zoom Fly 3 as a poor imitation of the NEXT%. The Adios Pro 2 or Prime X appear similar but totally different feel with the much softer and responsive full Lightstrike Pro. I didn’t find the plate in the heel that noticeable although I am not a heel striker and the supplied insole gives a bit of cushion.

    • @RunTall
      @RunTall  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I've been curious about the Prime X you reviewed recently. At the moment they aren't available here to purchase but the price point may keep me out of them anyway. That's a lot of cash! Thanks for tuning into the channel. Keep up your great videos. Stay safe.

    They look very stable when you run. Perhaps because they have a HARD midsole..

    • @RunTall
      @RunTall  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      They do feel stable. They have a good about of structure in and around the heel and their Lightstrike foam is dense so not a lot of give. Hey thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. I really appreciate it. Have a great weekend.

    I am not a marathon runner. I bought the Adidas Adizero Boston 10 and after my first 10mile run I loved the feel and the confort, and I also felt a mild disconfort (pain) in one of my knees afterwards. Will it go away when i adapt or wd it be wiser to change shoes? Great video!

    • @RunTall
      @RunTall  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey I'm glad you liked the cushion and ride. I'm sure it's frustrating to also have knee pain along with it. I'd likely side with caution. It's very possible that your knee pain was a one time event. But there are so many great running shoes out today that I'd be returning them and look at some of the other options out there that don't cause any pain. I'd hate for you to get seriously injured and have to be sidelined. Have a great night. Stay safe.

    Hi, nice review! I have a pair of Boston 10s myself, they're a great shoe. However, I'm not sure if they have any carbon in them, I thought they had fibreglass energy rods compared to the carbons rods in the Adios Pros.

    • @RunTall
      @RunTall  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Tom. Thanks for watching and sharing your experience in the Boston 10's. I just double checked the adidas website to see how they described them. They refer too them as, "Anatomically designed carbon technology, with Energyrods that spring back faster during the run with lightweight stiffness." I'm thinking they are Carbon based on this description. How you are have a great weekend. Thanks again.

    I have similar running form but have been out of it for a few years. My fav shoes were Adizero Rockets, for track training and 10Ks.
    These seem to have an extra inch of stack height. How does that compare? I'm in fear of making my feet lazy or rolling ankles.

    • @RunTall
      @RunTall  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hey thanks for the question. Unfortunately I haven't had the opportunity to run in the Rockets. The Boston 10 isn't favorite version of this shoe. I do like the Boston 12 as a daily trainer. I think it's a good training companion to the Adios Pro 3. Have a great day and stay safe.

      @@RunTall Cheers The stack height is a full inch taller than I'm used to :-D

    Where do you get all your shoes from?!? Also what do you use to shoot your running footage with??

    • @RunTall
      @RunTall  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. So, I purchase all the shoes I review with my own money. I get them from wherever I can get the best deal. I buy most of them from Road Runner Sports. I've been using the GoPro Hero 9 for my run footage. I just got the Insta360 Go To Action camera so I'll be using that for filming also. Have a great day and thanks again.

    Is that the way you usually run. Like in the footage? Looks like your heavily overstriding?

    • @RunTall
      @RunTall  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey thanks for watching and leaving a comment. I appreciate it. For the most part, yes that's my typical gait however it does get thrown off while filming because I'm holding a selfie stick as still as possible in my right hand, so I'm not able to swing my arm as a counter balance. It's a bit tricky. Have a great day and thanks again.

    Hey what’s a good shoe I can wear at work I work at a hospital so I’m on my feet all night I have pretty much super narrow flat feet and a low arch I was told my fleet foot I can wear a B in women shoes and that would fit me best and a D in men since I have narrow feet

    • @RunTall
      @RunTall  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The first shoe that comes to mind is the Hoka Gaviota 3. They are a max cushion and max stability shoe. The Gaviota 3 is more narrow than the previous versions of the shoe. I think they would do well for what you are looking for. Thanks for watching and asking the question. Have a great weekend!

    Is it suitable for running 10 km??

    • @RunTall
      @RunTall  ปีที่แล้ว

      They would not be my first choice for a 10K. They are a solid workhorse of a daily trainer that pairs up well with the Adizero Adios Pro for logging in tons of miles. I'd personally go with a lighter, quicker shoe, even the Adios Pro if you have the means. Have a great day.
