Its been very HOT so far this summer and we are doing our best to keep our clients cool. How often do you clean your air conditioning strainers where you live?
Update on last weeks video - we are not sure what the issue is with the big green truck our mechanic has not given up yet! We are planning to change out a few sensors in case we got bad ones again.

I clean my strainers about once each month. I am in fresh water so I don't have a lot of issues you do with salt water. My AC is not dropping the humidity in my boat even though the air is very cold. It is a new Dometic unit and it is driving me crazy lol...which isn't a long trip for me lol

Set out Carla in 1961. I was 13. Set out another hurricane sometime during the mid to late 70's on an offshore backup rig. Winds were only around 75 to 80 mph. Then in 1993, was on duty as a Police Officer
During Hurricane Arlene. Sent my family to Central Texas to ride out the storm, while I stayed home and worked. None of them were any fun.

My family and I lived in Port Saint Lucie in 2004 when Hurricane Francis came through on 9/5 and then Hurricane Jeanne came through roughly 3 weeks later. 2 hurricanes in 1 month in the same location was enough for me. Once the house was fixed the following spring, we sold it and headed for NC.

I didn't know that thing about the refrigerant ..I usually fill the system with the can upright until I am about 10 minutes in to the fill and it starts going slow. Then I get bored and tip the can from 12 o'clock to 3 o'clock and back slowly to speed up the process. So far I haven't destroyed a pump but from now on I'll be more patient. TY!

Ive spent more time laying on that seakeeper than I care to admit. I’ve found the same leak on MJM’s quite a few times on air handler near breaker panel under seating. Flare fitting are usually not torqued properly. Once they were cross threaded so just cut out and pressed with rls fittings, fixed that leak forever. How do you feel about press fitting vs flare fitting?

If it's too hot out to be outside, and all you want to do is be in air conditioning, why don't you just move up north.
Our bodies adjust better to colder weather then hotter.
