***** Yes they do...residuals (mechanical royalties) from radio play, sales, streaming, etc.
It's all about keeping up w/ the jones though.. his royalties are nothing compared to guys he works daily like Max Martin or Dr. Luke. You can never slow down.

do you actually know that? I mean hes has a long career now but at this time I dont think it's as much as you think it is. If I do a song with Katy Perry right now itd be a miracle to get 12-15%. now if the song is huge that's more money than 100% of a small song I'm not saying it isnt worth it especially with everything else you can get from that 1 credit on your resume but it's not like we get big percentages on hit records. huge stars signed directly to UMG & Sony even as the single record producer you might get a decent lil check & 7%. whatever you do, work for hire is a bad idea lol

This $10 is a Yamaha PSS-100. It is the best square wave toy keyboard in existence. It has 16 badass sounds, a badass polyphonic sequencer, a 4 button voice variator, and a cool polyphonic sequencer! The five demo songs in the keyboard are really good

Depends on how you define a "regular keyboard"
It all about creating new sounds. Having the presets from all the key boards you collect also helps with sound development. who knows what new preset you find to bend and shape the hell out of LOL. We're all just mad scientist in our bed rooms making weird beats and sounds. Some are started from scratch and others from some dope preset.
