To clarify Nick Viall said there's a "licensing" issue and so they couldn't air Rachel or Emily Maynard's seasons. No more info other than that. My best guess is some streaming service bought the rights to the season but who knows.

I know Rachel’s season is on Tubi so I assumed that’s why for hers.

Emily's season was bought by Roku, and is free to watch right now.
I am still impressed with how quickly and decisively she weeded out the melodrama. She must be an excellent attorney.
Totally agree! As soon as she got wind that something was up, she went into “deposition mode,” asking all the relevant questions very clearly and directly. She gave ample opportunity for each side’s case, and then rendered fair judgment based on the facts presented. She was a model lead, IMO.
Sadly for potential clients, Rachel is no longer practicing law. She’s moved in sports broadcasting and podcasting and such. I enjoy her Bachelor Happy Hour podcast, co-hosted by Becca Kufrin. If I were into sports, I’m sure I would enjoy her analysis and commentary there as well.
I have nothing against Peter K., but I’m so glad Rachel ended up with Bryan. Their chemistry and comfort level through all sorts of situations just leaps off the screen. I’m so happy for them. 😍🥰🌹🙌
Yes she is - I think she is more of a logical person which is obvious cause she is an attorney.

Rachel really was the best bachelorette.
She's the only one who was incredibly no nonsense in eliminating drama, and she never did anything during the season that pissed me off. My focus was more on her happiness in the end and she's one of the only ones to get it.

yes, I really hope the franchise moves towards casting more headstrong, intelligent and mature bachelorettes who know what they want and are ready for marriage! the endings of the past couple of seasons have been disappointing

I knew Bryan was the front runner when they went on a date and Rachel bought them matching watches in Switzerland. That was a huge gesture, it was clear then for me... I love Rachel and Bryan together, glad they are still happily married.

Rachel's season was perfect! The only thing I wish was that the editors didn't give Brian such a horrible edit they really set him up for failure in the end which made everyone root for Peter when in retrospect he was the frontrunner.
My ongoing theory is they do that every season. Why do they want you to like the person she picks. No they want you to like her rejects because that's who they typically pick from for their next bachelor.
@@kathleentheg besides Hannah Brown's season, and for obvious reasons, I can't think of another season where they give the F1 pick a bad edit on purpose. The show usually does its best to try to protect the lead's pick
It’s weird because they seemed to really push for Peter. At first, I liked Peter at first and thought Bryan was a little too perfect and good to be true but always knew Bryan was MUCH better for Rachel. But I realize that in spite of being a good guy, Peter was not ready for commitment (weird because that’s what you sign up for when going on these shows!) and was quite manipulative and unromantic. Now I’m hunting for my Bryan Abasolo 😉
@@CassieTranthesuperfitbabe How was he manipulative? If anything he was 100% honest with Rachel that he did not feel ready to propose. It was left up to her to decide how she wanted to proceed with that information. That's allowing her to use her power not manipulating her at all.
@@socorroarranz969its sketchy and manipulative to people when folks come on a show with marriage at he end and then claim "they arent ready" at the end. Women have done it as well and the opinion is the same. Its just a pathetic excuse imo for the show but it is kinda backhanded 😅
Peter is a smoke show. I am obsessed with him. Her top four is magical.

My top two are still Eric and Bryan. Peter isn’t terrible but he was quite emotionally manipulative and probably wanted a relationship with Rachel without the commitment
@@CassieTranthesuperfitbabe A relationship is a commitment. The engagement is what he was uncertain about at the time and as he said he only wants to propose once. He and Rachel have very strong personalities.
I was really into Peter at the time, but in retrospect I see that her connection with Bryan was just much more mature and grounded. But the way they kiss yikes I can't look!

Rachel’s season is my favorite Bachelorette season. It was the second season (after Nick) that I actually watched while it was airing and it got me hooked on the franchise. I was genuinely excited for the lead, loved every single one if her top 4 men, and was always entertained.
My first season was Colton’s, which was incredibly frustrating. All the cattiness and weird drama 🤦♀️
Luckily, I next moved on to Rachel’s season, and then Trista’s. *Their* seasons are what actually hooked me. 🌹
I love Rachel! I know people get annoyed with her sometimes but one thing you can NEVER say about her is that she’s fake lol, whether you like what she’s saying or not she will say it because she truly feels it. She doesn’t fake her emotions, responses or anything for that matter, she’s real. I watched her season with my mom and we loved it! I love her!

It’s probably because she tells it like it is and isn’t afraid to call people on their BS. I know that one recent bachelor really doesn’t like Rachel and keeps poking at her like she’s just unlikeable, but I quite frankly don’t trust a man who sent his ex-girlfriend so many unsettling messages and patterns of behavior that she placed a restraining order against him 🤷🏻♀️🙄😂

He was the best part of the season, anytime he showed up i lost it. i loved that you included the "i disgust her" part, i cracked up sooo much! the producers were having way too much fun with him, reminds me of the snl totinos commercial with kristen stewart!
Rachel is hands down the best bachelorette ever. Beautiful, fun, spunky, real, no bs vibe. Here season isn't anything less than entertaining yet the ratings were so low, shows how much the viewers were actually accepting of a black lead. She is such a role model and deserves to be praised, the flack she has been getting for standing up as a person of color is so unnecessary
I always preferred Bryan honestly. Men knowing what they want and being real and honest is honestly so refreshing and I always loved that watching her and Bryan together. It’s sad that we as a society have been conditioned to believe when a man is nice and kind and attentive, there’s an ulterior motive, which is why people said they won’t last. And yet they made it and are still together proving them all wrong. As long as she’s happy that’s all that matters.

I feel like it was kind of healing for me, showing that a good man can be really into you, but lose you because of a fatal fear of commitment. I think Peter is still single 😢
it was really traumatic imo. I can never say that was the best. i would need a few years to get over that situation.

Rachel Lindsay is honestly the best lead the show has ever had and her season was my favourite. Also I agree with all the reasons listed in the video that make her season the greatest of all time.

Am I the only one who never liked Peter but LOOVEEED Bryan? Their interactions always seemed real and genuine (no shade). Bryan was always the front runner since night one for me. And Peter basically gave her an ultimatum even if he knew that she wanted to get married.

I remember learning a lot through Rachel's season. She chose the low drama stable loving guy, rather than the up and down "exciting" one that most of the people watching wanted her to choose. I even shared it in a therapy group I was in. 🤷♀️
Really loved them both! I knew Bryan was going to win FROM THE START and he RIGHTFULLY should have and did 👏 BUT I did like Peter at first because he seemed cute and likable. Obviously his dynamic with Rachel didn’t age well because he gave off this energy where he’d pass on the commitment and the romantic devotion that Bryan was sold on
Rachel IS the bachelor GOAT. Not only was she an amazing lead, but her men were (mostly) great and the season had the perfect balance of drama, humor, and romance. My one complaint is that Lee should never have been cast. Rachel and Kenny shouldn’t have had to deal with his racist bullshit.

Rachel had the best cast IMO. A lot of genuinely nice and successful guys. I was obsessed with her top 4 and actually cried many times to see some of these guys leave haha
IMO, minus Wha-boom, Lee, and Demario, she had such a good group of guys. When it comes to bachelorette season where the crop of guys was really good and entertaining this one, Kaitlyn's season, and Ali's season really stand out.
I'd love to see Bachelor Fantake do a ranking/tier list for all the bachelor & bachelorette seasons

this was the first full season of any bachelor show I ever watched and it’s what got me hooked on the franchise! 🥰 (i remember crying SO HARD when rachel and peter broke up and i don’t usually cry at this show lol)
it’s also the first season that came to my mind when I heard about the “greatest seasons ever”

So happy whaboom didn’t go to Paradise or anything. It’s even more yikes than I remembered. Also dang, hadn’t ever heard Peter’s reasons not to be Bachelor. I respect that good for him but still sad he wasn’t the Bachelor
I’m pretty sure he did go to paradise but no on wanted to date him so he lasted less than a full episode. I don’t remember for sure though.

Even my boyfriend who never likes any of them, hes always said she was the best person to go on that show. Shes smart and already had her life together.
I knew immediately when she kissed Bryan he was the one. He had the whole package, and he was really there for a relationship. Plus I think his parents liking her was the gold seal. I'm happy she found her person.

Rachel and Bryan are one of my absolute favorite Bachelor couples, and Rachel as Bachelorette was amazing!! strong, mature, real, funny ! i wish them nothing but the best for the future, so happy they made it!

You missed the bit where production set Rachel up and made her sit in front of a live studio audience, whom were manipulated by the final edit of Peter and Bryan for over 4hrs, cutting back to Peter backstage whom played to the camera, whilst Rachel's engagement was shown!
I thought Bryan's mom was memorable and should of been included in your final edit, but overall you did a great recap of a fun and nice love story played out in the craziest circumstances!

Rachel and Emily Maynard's seasons are on Tubi, I believe. So Tubi has exclusive rights to those seasons for as long as that contract lasts.
Not sure but Nick Viall said there's some sort of licensing issue along with Emily Maynard's season. If that's true my best guess is some streaming service has the rights to stream it for a certain contract length of time.
Also worth noting is that ABC doesnt actually "own" the show. It is made by a separate production studio and licensed to ABC. So I believe ABC has no say in when and where the streaming rights are sold.

Rachel’s season is probably my favorite out of all of them. I totally thought that she’d end up with Peter, even after they broke up, but all’s well that ends well. I didn’t know Peter was offered the Bach! I would have definitely watched his season, but good for him for turning it down and living his life 👍

Agreed Brian was the first to get another 1x1 date, then a third if I recall, and she even bought him a watch! Like that act/purchase showed who she was picking she was telling him and us. People were just caught up in Peters charms too much to see that it was ALWAYS gonna be Bryan.
He also got the first impression rose.

That Peter break up was heartbreaking 😭😭 I remember bachelor nation being so mad including myself. I’m happy he didn’t want to be the bachelor when he was in a relationship. I’m sure a lot of leads leave relationship to be the lead but he wasn’t having that. And the fact that he was making more money being a business owner than the show was willing to pay him. The fact that Peter didn’t want to do it because he didn’t know if he would be engaged is quite hilarious though since a few leads left and didn’t get engaged 😂 I love that he wasn’t gonna accept the offer because they weren’t offering therapy for him and his final girls. He’s such an amazing person for that 😩 He wanted it to work for whoever he ended up with and because the franchise is trash they didn’t want to negotiate.

It’s true that she was fairly good at removing the problematic guys and keeping them out, I feel like she kept Lee around for way too long and at that point he did lasting damage to Kenny. He was by far the most infuriating man ever

With bachelorettes it's so evident who they like - I usually am able to guess 90% of the time who stole their heart - I remember seeing Rachel with Brian first time they sat together - I was confident we don't need this season, she chose ;) With bachelors - even if it looks that way, they are so immature and not in touch with their emotions, that even when they have a clear favourite, they go and screw everything up and choose a different one. Acutally the only one who was sure and not afraid to stick with it was Colton

I think Rachel kind of “let him go” before a rose ceremony so that he could be back w his daughter more quickly. She wasn’t feeling it and wanted him to be able to be back w his family ASAP as I recall
