Outstanding process video! I don’t mind long videos when that much information is shared and demonstrated. I have not worked with pastels since I was a child, however, your pastel work has been very inspirational. Your project turned out beautifully. It’s a lovely piece of art and yes, a true mixed media which I think demonstrates the beauty of stencils. You’re not limited to just putting paint through the holes. There are all sorts of ways to make a print your own utilizing several techniques. Thank you so much for sharing your work and your interpretation of your stencil.

Beautiful piece Christy. Thanks for sharing this, I have made several prints using this beautiful Iris stencil, some better than others and this video has reminded me of the importance of shadows and highlights. You explain everything so clearly, thank you 💖

Loved the finished piece, haven’t heard of or used the deco foil or the tacky when dry….the outcome of the technique utilizing them was stunning!

Thank you. I am addicted to the Deco Foil now. I saw it used by Elizabeth St Hilaire and was hooked.
