The first time I saw the Brush Hog the guy using it caught a big channel catfish. He thought he hooked a giant bass and I'd guess it was guarding the nest.
Howdy neighbor! I’m in Branson for my 42nd anniversary! This place is nuts 🥜, traffic that is. Not my cup of tea. I will be visiting baitwrx and I’ll drop your name q
Not crazy at all. He's done basically the exact same video before. Only difference between the videos that I seem to remember is Randy previously not mentioning pulling the tentacles off. That's it, that's the only new info given. That being said, this video was presented FAR better than the other one and he should be proud of his improvement as a fishing content creator.
He said he repeats content. Few goes back to view all the old videos. I tried, but TH-cam only lets me see a very narrow selection of anybody’s old videos. So, a bit of repeating is great for new viewers like me.
@@ricksonora6656 I completely understand rehashing and updating topics from time to time, especially as certain techniques become relevant in the time of year they're most effective in. Irregardless of repetition, I definitely appreciated the higher quality presentation of the topic over the older video.
Great tips for fishing the brush hogs...You mentioned that you will use the brush hogs on a football head jig could you do a video on how you modify them for that and the conditions you would throw them as a trailer
Randy, you recently talked about the silver crawfish plastic in the summer. Does this color work well for other plastics ie. brush hog, stick bait, etc?
Hi Randy. I want to experiment with weightless soft plastics: Brush hogs, tubes, worms, beaver tails etc. I use ultralight gear off the bank. No boat, no scopes. Any suggestions?
Hadn't thought about removing the "legs" before, Guess you could also remove the flappers but keep the legs for a lighter, smaller profile. Might try that on the local spotted bass.
Thanks Randy. Gonna try these recommendations out. Appreciate you
Thanks.
great bait i agree Randy another favorite of mine is the Berkeley mantis bug
Love it

Basil Bacon was one of the original BassMasters! Definitely going old school there. Randy.
Haven’t you already done this video or am I crazy?

When roughing up your baits do you worry about getting your human sent on the bait?
