Great quick tip Mariusz ! I used the same technique on the MS video, all those icons had the same shader, just the color changed.. so much easier to have 1 main shader to do tweaks on =)
I think the faster/easier way is to use the built in attribute of the object itself. If you enable "Display Color" On and then set your color. In that way you can also see the color you assign to the objects in the wireframe viewport..
