@@paulkurilecz4209 ? That cast plate is made from cast Iron? The scrap pile is visible at 0:52 . A huge pile of cast Iron. The Rotating Furnace is Interesting. I believe that the rotating furnace is furnace more efficient, Uses less energy to melt the steel.

Cast iron would be preferred over steel for several reasons, most notably, a lower melting point and the fact that cast iron expands as it solidifies making it preferred over steel for thinner sections. The rotary furnace is better for melting higher melting point materials as the lining will radiate heat into the melt. It is essentially a non-recuperated hearth type furnace.
My father used to work in a small foundry years ago by himself basically and I would help as a kid. I love the smell of burning metal and he would make forms like this pretty cool.

So, it is a blister copper mold for a copper smelter. Is it for make the copper plates for electrolytic refining of copper?
