Great guitar tone. Is it in normal tuning?

Zachary, your '52 D-18 sounds wonderful. Are you retuned into Open C with a capo on the 1st fret? My D-18's are not as old as yours but I'm learning how to play it by watching your very nice video. One of the guys on UMGF (Unofficial Martin Guitar Forum) recommended we look at your Instagram post on this song. Thanks for doing this!

Hey! Thanks so much for stopping by to have a listen. I can't actually comment on where the guitar was tuned at the time of recording this. I think I had it tuned pretty low (I usually keep it a 1/2 step down), but I've always really liked this song in a lower key (Ala Jack Rose - great version), the capo probably went there because it felt nice with the added tension. Either way, I'm in an open D style tuning.
Good luck working this tune up! It is a real nice one to lean into.
