Most influencer contracts require a non-disparagement clause, meaning you can't say anything negative or even remotely critical about the brand. This is a large reason why you don't see a lot of reporting on the sewing + crafts industry. Remaining as independent as possible allows me to maintain editorial + creative freedom.
A lot of people use a SNC for cutting out applique and fitting the shape exactly on the fabric so there is no wasted fabric. You can scan the fabric or vinyl and know exactly where to place your objects.
So strange. Ive just finished making a tailoring ham with a little bit of old ikea fabric and some old clothing i cut up that i was sending to the charity shop. I realise a tailoring ham is not something that is in high demand as a retail item.😂 but Sustainable for soft furnishing stuffing. Pet beds ect.
The SNC price of $700 is likely due to the liscensed designs programed on it. The benefit of scanning is you can make your own designs and scan it in to make a cut file or just to cut it out. Paper crafters like it for stamped images. Might be good for cutting out printed patterns or sewing?

I have a pair of Nikes, plucked from a pile getting sent to an incinerator. Nike doesn’t donate, they destroy. 😒
