I’ve never listened to Never Shout Never but that whole thing is kinda ridiculous. I severely dislike Bryan Stars given later context, but prior to knowing that context I always liked his format since I find interviews with weirder questions as opposed to the generic “so what was the inspiration for your last album” bullshit that everyone asks. Podcasts like Hardlore are great for that kind of thing. The whole “hooo I’m a serious artist that must be asked serious questions” vibe is severely unlikeable
I'm from the same general area as NSN, they were known in a huge radius through Missouri as being major tools, especially Christofer. The mother of his child came out last year about how he beat her and was very abusive before she got away.
I met Johnny Craig once when he was the lead singer of Slaves. At the time he was sober and him and a few of the band mates invite us to chill at another bar. He had this attitude about him I didnt like. The rest of the band were amazing guys and a blast to hangout with

Well to say he’s most hated would be an understatement. Plus no one like “hates” him in the sense of the others being people that people like to rag on because they suck or are douchebags. He’s just a gross nonce that people would rather forget about
As much as I love Falling in Reverse's variety and style, oof it's tough to follow Ronnie. Dude has some extremely hot takes, and it also shows in his music. Glad he seems like he's doing better now at least.
he's definitely improving constantly. He gives the vibe that he could be a legitimately good person but he falls into the trap of spewing hate on things hes uneducated on
Tbh I only listen to the drug in me is you(one of my favorites albums). When I was in school the second album came out and I didn't like it. I tried giving them another chance but it wasn't my cup of tea. I know they are one of the biggest bands from back in the day.
Yeah I don’t like how he’s so hateful about religion. He doesn’t have to believe in God of course, but to call himself a god and to insult Christianity is not ok.
Honestly, I might be in the minority where I found Unfashionably Late to be incredibly cheesy and TikTok-coded, but I actually unironically enjoy his stuff from Popular Monster and onwards. His rapping can definitely be corny and Tom MacDonald coded, but I'd rather listen to that and his new stuff over what Bad Girls Club and Game Over were trying to do. His cover of Last Resort recently was actually not that bad. Him reacting to a video from Tom McKenty and pausing to roast one of his critics in a clip in the video for having a can of Barqs root beer was unironically funny, just like him going straight for the jugular when it came to Rock boomers still crying about the stolen laptop situation. Hideki Kamiya types in the entertainment industry where they have a hard exterior while also being charismatic about it in a way will always be funny to me.
Having an addiction doesn't make you act like a dick! People with addictions who are already dicks use their addiction as an excuse to act like a dick! I had addiction problems for 20 years and I always treated people the way I wanted to be treated, with respect and love!!
Speaking as an ex addict, I've used many drugs and met a lot of users. Drugs do indeed turn people into a different person. I did crazy shit I never would have done sober, and saw many others do worse things they absolutely wouldn't have done sober. You can judge them if you want, that's fair, but one must realize that when addicts do crazy shit, it's usually the drugs talking
You did those things because it was in you to do them. You might have done them to get drugs or whatever excuse u wanna tell yourself, but the bottom line is that you did it because you're capable of those behaviors! I have enough experience in this area to know what I'm saying is accurate. There are ppl who would rob someone to keep from going into withdrawals. There are others who aren't trash deep down inside, and those people will be sick or find some other way rather than hurt someone or steal. The only exception imo is meth. That def changes people lol
Jonny Craig’s son was found with fetanyl in his system as a toddler. He doesn’t have custody of his child and he is most certainly not sober so he’s not “a better person”

Ronnie has come a long way, he seems much better now. I understand why people are not fond of him. I just know he has some problems with mental health, sometimes it causes people to be really defensive and lash out at people for no reason. I think he even knows that starting beefs with people is not always good, he is pretty open about his mistakes.

He's involved both in FIR music videos (Willow cameo'd in the Losing My Life/Losing My Mind/Drugs trio, while Saraya was in the I Am Not A Vampire (Revamped) video.) He also called out WWE when Triple H said some very not okay things about Saraya. Ronnie does not claim anything on reactions to his videos, he encourages and reacts to them. i 100% agree with Chris Drew on what he said to Bryan Stars tho like Bryan Stars was literally the WORST interviewer and idk why he was ever allowed access to these bands to interview. He didnt have any respect for the bands or the fans and someone had to finally tell the truth to his face. Like if thats the WORST thing hes done and having addiction problems then he seems like every other musician lol
Well, I feel like I can comment as a new fan of Ronnie. (July 22 tbh). I heard the stories, so I dug deep to see if it was even something I’d want to support. I’m pretty chill, but if you’re going to make a video, do more than 5 minutes of research. The fan from the bus who acccused him of SA. So, here’s how it went down. She came back with the band after a show. Nothing happened on the bus. Yes, she was intoxicated (degree not sure). Ronnie, his security guard, and the female get in a car to go to a club. He determined she was just too wasted. I believe he wanted to turn around and take her back to the venue. Then she gets irate. She starts screaming and demanding to be dropped off at a particular intersection. Him and his guard obliged (only issue I had was dropping her offf there). Before they left, a passer by woman came over and said she’d stay with the female until someone showed up. Then they left. But they decided to come back. When they came back, there were police. She immediately claimed SA. Law enforcement swept the bus looking for any evidence that’d corroborate her story. Cops found nothing. Eventually, Ronnie and tour bus were cleared to keave. If I’m not mistaken, her story kept changing. She put stuff online and he eventually sued her for defamation. And won. Which to me says he was innocent the whole time. Just look at the Depp v Heard case to see how difficult it is to prove innocence against a female. So; he didn’t SA this fan. She even accused the body guard of SA as well. As far as Watts the gf, the charges were dropped and he pled no contest. As a woman, I confidently feel he’s not someone going around hurting females. Cheating in his baby mama was a dick move, and he admits to that. He’s remorseful over the guy who died, but Ronnie didn’t pull the trigger. He only went to jail over parole violation, he was a drug addict at the time. Now, in 2023, he’s clean, sober, quit smoking, is a vegan, works out every day. He has a 9/10 year old girl who he adores. He’s been with Saraya (Paige from WWE) for 5 solid years. He’s turned his life around from a drug addict. He pleaded down from 2 felonies to 1 felony charge for the homicide cuz he couldn’t afford to fight for it. People can change their lives around. And woman can, and do lie. I had to really research this before I continued being a fan…cuz I don’t support ppl who Do that to women. I love Ronnie!
Although it's a pretty big departure from punk and emo, I feel like Ethan Kath deserves a spot in this video. Having been a part of Kill Cheerleader and even far more known for being in Crystal Castles, he was accused of physical, mental, verbal, and sexual abuse in some of the most cruel ways possible by former bandmate Alice Glass when starting when she was 15 and he was 25. Still though, great video
I think some people don't realize artists "beef" with each other a lot because it sells albums. Like I'm not saying the original incident didn't irritate them or make them angry but like, they blow it up and put it into their art because fans love knowing the story behind something like that, they love the references to it like little easter eggs, it just works and makes the artist get a ton of publicity. Ronnie 100% these days does it for that reason, it's part of his brand at this point.
Jonny Craig still pisses me off so much. Literally one of the most talented people in the world. Gave us fantastic bands and music. Couldn't stop being a pos. Like, if this dude just turned his life around and came clean about his past and went forward with a fresh attitude, he could literally be on top of the world. But he won't. I wish I was even 1/3 as talented as him. So much wasted potential.
Bryan Stars legit exploited 90% of the bands he interviewed. All of it was just a ploy so he could meet bands, then turn around and talk shit after. That’s one of the reasons he got canceled

The Bus was swabbed there was NO evidence of her even being on the bus, she accused the bodyguard too he supposed to have assaulted her on the bus While Ronnie was on stage.... Security does not leave the stage area while the talent is performing. If you read the actual police report You would see that it wasn't possible Any of it. Ronnie was NEVER arrested for it, and he was Completely cleared by actual evidence. As for the Assault of his girlfriend It was a fight, Both of them was actually charged with with domestic assault. Ronnie is 6ft tall 200lbs if he had actually hit her she would've had more than a scratch on her cheek. Ronnie admits he's an asshole, he has anger issues, ADD, PTSD, etc... He's never claimed to be completely innocent. But he's NOT a murder, rapist, or abuser....
talking about Ronnie radke, I actually have a story involving him. So a few months ago I was scrolling through Instagram and I saw this alex terrible's post asking for a tattoo artist or something like that I don't remember. the thing is that Ronnie commented recommending him a tattoo artist. I replied to Ronnie's comment saying something like "what are you doing here" because I was surprised to see him on Alex's account, since they're both musicians that I like, not in a bad way I was just surprised. Then I shit my pants because I kid you not I saw a notification of a reply to my comment from Ronnie. it said quote on quote: "idk reference a great tattoo artist to a singer I'm bringing in my next tour that I follow on Instagram? the fuck are you doing here? " and I replied with something like "no way Ronnie radke himself just replied to me" because I wasn't expecting that at all, but I deleted it hours later because it was cringe and everyone in the comments was making fun of me. hours later I see that Ronnie's reply has like 400 likes but there are people defending me saying things like "why is Ronnie beefing with a 14 year old he's so defensive" which in my opinion is true, wtf is a celebrity with over 1m followers starting beef with a 14 year old fan 💀 anyways idk if alex deleted the original post because now I can't find it but I have screenshots.
He randomly attacked me. I made a video on tiktok about how I did like falling in reverse. So he duetted it and talked a bunch of shit ab me and had his fans bully me until I had to permanently delete my tiktok. I had almost ten k followers, which isn’t anything to someone like him but it was a lot to me.
Glad to say I was never in the Nickleback hate train. Especially having lived through it and after knowing it was just because they were on the radio all the time. 👍🏻
Funnily enough, i grew up when the hate train for Nickelback was in the highest, but ironically, i never saw someone saying to my face, "i hate nickelback." The only time that happened was last year with my ex-gf, but everyone i know likes at least one of their songs, I'm into their more hard rock stuff. Does it have corny lyrics? Yeah, but it's still fun to listen to Animals or Next Contestant to this day in a car or a bar

Its always funny seeing never shout never especially when just scrolling around the tube at 3 am. I think he is more intolerable in the bryan stars stuff than he kind of was as a kid, but then again he was a kid. This kid unprovoked threw a milkshake at my rides window while she was driving.. scary as fuck and pretty wreckless. Also a year before he hit it i was in a music store and had to show him the proper amp because he had a guitar hooked up to amp for something else. Like he was a kid so whatever right. Then he started doing these interviews where he is talking about native culture. As a card caring, recognized by the government indigenous person would come across these interviews he did clearly fucked up talking about shamans and shit he didnt really know about. He was young, on drugs, had alot of money at once and was an idiot with it... can i blame him? Not completely. But he is just the same joplin trash as the rest of us and got lucky. I havent even mentioned all the shit in years he kicked up on twitter because everyone around him bever told him no, or how i played his "lovedaze" festival and he fed and made sure every band was taken care of but my band and one other where they made us pay 6 bucks for water when it was 105 degrees outside. There is a lot more one could talk about and find about him not even from someone in the area just looking at old tweets. When you take everything in account he could be worse, and he's lost family and all sorts of shit so he deserves some leniency.. unless that abuse allegations from his ex is true. Always holding him down with past mistakes means he cant move on and grow, cause we won't give him the chance too or let him prove himself hes really changed. people suck
As far as I’m concerned every generation has a rock band that sucks but teenagers and single moms love and Nickelback was the 2000s version. The 90s had Creed. The 2000teens had Imagine Dragons

Saying stuff like they know tillian can't carry the torch he gave them or something. Dudes definitely got something very twisted about him.
This video was in my recommended and I watched all 16 minutes and 8 seconds of it. I don't even listen to this kind of music, but this video was so entertaining that that fact doesn't even matter. Great work!
Early 2000s didn't have CDs? Come on, most everybody had CDs back then. The Nickelback thing is so ridiculous. Sure, not the best band in the world, but the hate is bullshit just because they got popular and uptight elitist rock fans thought they were sell-outs.
Ronnie also was accused by his ex Crissy of domestic violence. Granted, he never got a charge (I do believe there was a protective order.) But that had a major impact on his career at the time.
I was bartending for years at this strip club in south florida. The girls would always play nickelback. I wasn't fond of it, but there was this one song that used to drive me insane. I don't know what the name of it was and I can't tell you any of the lyrics. I just know that there's a part where he says like the stain on your dress or something like that.
For once Lars Ulrich is not on a most hated rock members list, Lars may have fought Napster (he was correct though) but that’s the worst thing he did, he was not involved in a murder

Chris drew is an insecure kid that will do anything for attention

I’ve never listened to Never Shout Never but that whole thing is kinda ridiculous. I severely dislike Bryan Stars given later context, but prior to knowing that context I always liked his format since I find interviews with weirder questions as opposed to the generic “so what was the inspiration for your last album” bullshit that everyone asks. Podcasts like Hardlore are great for that kind of thing. The whole “hooo I’m a serious artist that must be asked serious questions” vibe is severely unlikeable

Perhaps, that 20 years you were using, you failed to notice how much a dick you were.
drugs effect everyone differently, your experience isn’t everyone’s experience first off, and second say that to a fucking meth head

Ronnie also protected both his daughter, Willow Radke, and his long time girlfriend, Saraya Brevis, who you might know of as former WWE wrestler Paige (Who now wrestles in AEW as Saraya) from 2 separate instances of men breaking into their home by physically restraining these weirdos until the cops arrived. He's involved both in FIR music videos (Willow cameo'd in the Losing My Life/Losing My Mind/Drugs trio, while Saraya was in the I Am Not A Vampire (Revamped) video.)
He also called out WWE when Triple H said some very not okay things about Saraya.
Ronnie does not claim anything on reactions to his videos, he encourages and reacts to them.
He's allowed AEW to use Zombified as Saraya's initial entry theme.

This just confirms that most people are pretentious, they will hate on the band because everybody else in the room is doing it

When you take everything in account he could be worse, and he's lost family and all sorts of shit so he deserves some leniency.. unless that abuse allegations from his ex is true. Either way a lot of shit happened to this dude way too quick. He got a range rover? Land rover? I dunno some obnoxiously large car that makes no sense with the hippy drippy bullshit he spouts. Always holding him down with past mistakes means he cant move on and grow, cause we won't give him the chance too or let him prove himself hes really changed. people suck
I just think that Chris called him out tbf. He had every reason to
even as an emo i always thought never shout never was corny
As far as I’m concerned every generation has a rock band that sucks but teenagers and single moms love and Nickelback was the 2000s version. The 90s had Creed. The 2000teens had Imagine Dragons
The "we stopped going to church and letting a little loose without your father around" sound tacks of the decade 😂
Im not sure if never shout never broke up, but i did notice there were 2 new songs under the band's name
On the loveway records channel

Yeah he’s rebooting the project
Y’know Christofer is the LAST person I’d expect to be an asshole IRL. His songs are too wholesome even for me.
Nah, if you know anything about people like him, hippie, “peace and love,” spiritual people are always the worst 😂
@@pinkmazohystExactlyyyyy lmao 😂
Another reason Nickelback gets so much hate is because all their music sounds the same
0:35 - I get what you're trying to say but we did have internet when that song came out, we had Napster, Limewire, MP3s.
Takes integrity to call out dumb nickelback hate. You got my sub for that.
Much respect for showing a clip from Colin Quinn's "Tough Crowd with Collin Quinn" back in 2001.
Christopher doesn’t deserve to be on this list tbh he was rude to a reporter and that would easily be a lot of us if we were famous! Jonny is on a whole other level pos, and I want to believe ronnie is just a wholesome person but the SA allegation is sus for sure.
I saw Johnny craig on tour a couple months ago. He let a bunch of young ass girls in his tour van when the show was over.
He was also shit talking DGD on stage.
Great work!
Ronnie Radke and I have actually personally beefed before it was hilarious 😭
And here I thought the worst thing Ronnie ever did was covering Gangsta's Paradise
that was bad
Oh wow I loved Nevershoutnever when I was like in 8th grade! I had the hugest crush on Christopher Drew
Same here lmfaoooo
Knew jonny craig was gonna be here 😂
Early 2000s didn't have CDs? Come on, most everybody had CDs back then.
The Nickelback thing is so ridiculous. Sure, not the best band in the world, but the hate is bullshit just because they got popular and uptight elitist rock fans thought they were sell-outs.
6:51 What song is he singing?
I can't do Nickelback. I find the singer's voice irritating.
Big thing about Chris Drew that was omitted: domestic abuse allegations.
Christopher’s brother got murdered by a cop. I think he’s never coming back to music
Bryan Stars should have interviewed Andy Biersack for the NYT article. They had really good chemistry
this was a super well composed & easy to digest video! earned a sub man 🩷
Goated Hate5Six shirt!
What song at 6:54 ???????????????
I had no idea people disliked Christopher drew because of that interview lmao I guess I was living under a rock at the time, never like Bryan anyway
People hate nickel back because their music is bland and never changing
Ronnie also started beef with Brad Taste in Music for being criticized.
i know that was stupid
5:20 lol this sounds awful
Ronnie also was accused by his ex Crissy of domestic violence. Granted, he never got a charge (I do believe there was a protective order.) But that had a major impact on his career at the time.
Really cool video man ! Great job 🤘🏻🔥
Thanks brother! Just watched your bring me the horizon video, really cool info
@@VIIZZZYY thanks a lot man !! Really appreciate 🙏🏻🔥
You made me a fan of Attila and I'm not mad I love heavy metal so thank you for playing that clip of the song
I cant believe i saw that bryan stars interview and didn't even think twice 💀 i was so young i couldnt even process what the hell was even happening 😂
Just want to point out Jonny did not start DGD! It was formed before by the instrumental dudes and after they picked up Mess they picked up Jonny.
The chick made up the SA on Ronnie, police investigated it and numerous witness showed Ronnie wasn’t even on the bus.
Was it animal? I used to hear that song in the club all the time!
"Figured you out" I think is the song you are thinking of
@@erickjames822 that is it! Lol God dude if I had a dollar for every time that song played I'd have like 100 bucks😆
Also, god damn, Christofer has suffered really bad twink death.
right
Sorry nickleback is not an ok band... blergh.... his vocals just activate my vomit reflex...not a fan of their style music at all
For once Lars Ulrich is not on a most hated rock members list, Lars may have fought Napster (he was correct though) but that’s the worst thing he did, he was not involved in a murder
His drumming is the worst thing he did
@@patrickmcpartland1398 I have to disagree, he’s an alright drummer, he does his job in Metallica
