I have an 06 Spyder manual gated 6 speed and have had it for 6 years and really like it. It is a lot more engaging to drive than the paddles. Car is reliable just changed the clutch once and that's it. Enjoy its a good car you can drive hard. God Bless be safe.

Why these are so rare is beyond me. Why would people option the e gear over this at the time? I've driven an 05 e gear and was not impressed at all with the trans. The manual is timeless. Same thing happened with the Ferrari California. You could option it with a gated manual but only TWO people did. And of course now they're worth 3 times what the flappy paddle cars are. Even if it's slower in a straight line\track who cares. All about the experience.

Tell him to get an fm adapter to get past the no aux or Bluetooth problem, they work great and plug into the cigarette lighter. Have one in my 97 e420 everyday works great.

I have actually been toying with selling my gtr for a manual Gallardo. Or a manual Porsche turbo. Just something a little more driver focused. I'm willing to go to slower to have more fun. Orrrr just go balls out on my gtr and go 900+hp

But in all honesty is a Gallardo really a downgrade from an F430? Bentley is definitely below Rolls-Royce but Gallardo and F430 are even set, the Gallardo has just depreciated a little more.
