China's Largest Glacier On The Tibetan Plateau I S2, EP82

- I am traveling from East-Tibet's lake Ranwu to the Laigu Glacier area, which is the largest and best preserved glacier area in Tibet. It is the third largest glacier group in the world.
On my way I stopped by a spiritual Bhuddist house where some locals formed clay statues to commemorate and merit Bhudda. This tradition is repeated every 4th month of the Tibetan calendar which is the second most sacred event of Tibetan Bhuddists.
Later on, I continued traveling to Yarlong Glacier and three of its neighboring glaciers. Some locales guided me to a short glacier hike, eventually ending up in an ice cave that was melting due to the sunlight.
Join me on this surreal trip through the Tibetan Highlands 🎬

Another amazing episode. You are an extraordinary person and documentarian. You show a side of China we simply don't see. It is so touching. A group of village women drying sweet potatoes, a Tibetan woman taking a smoke break while cutting grass, a walk through a market in the countryside. You are so respectful and sweet with those you meet. What an inspiration you are. From Oregon, USA.
Amazing Tibetan culture shown to us by a wonderful gal from Anhui. Thanks so much to you and partner ! ❤
@@ZiN-ux7tn NOT Occupation but rather Tibet joined with China to form the People's Republic of China.
The US says China is committing genocide in Xinjiang (I know it's Tibet) but the fact is the minority population in Xinjiang has increased by 123% compared to 1960s. What kind of genocide does the population get bigger and bigger? And the United States says China is carrying out cultural transformation in Xinjiang. In fact, you can watch many videos of bloggers traveling in Xinjiang. Local children and adults don't even speak Mandarin, only can speak their own language.Even in this video. Tibetans, still maintain their own culture
Thank you so much 🥰
@@ZiN-ux7tn You Indians want Tibet to become a vassal state of India like Bhutan. If you don't have the strength to do so, shut up!
As usual , stunning scenery and warm interesting exchanges with the locals. You have a real gift for this.
Thank you 🥰
You are a true treasure on this blue marble. Your videos are incomparable.
Thank you 🥰
The ice cave was so beautiful, the sound must be incredible.
The flute music is otherwordly, simply gorgeous.
Thank you Yan.
Thank you 🥰
Thank you 🥰
I used to work in Tibet for over five years. It's a very nice place, with peace and quiet. What impresses me most is the rapid advancement of the infrastructure. Don't miss the train between 拉萨 and 林芝. That's a magnificent railway project. I really miss the village, the city is too boring.😢
You worked in which part of tibet?
@@humansarecrazybeing5730 I never settle in one place.😂
@@qvq9968 can you tell me about lhoba
As usual top notch job done from beginning to end.
Breath-taking adventure! Literally. You were huffing and puffing during the hike! Thank you.
Thank you 🥰
Once again another beautiful video! Thank you dear Yan. Love from Australia 💚
Thank you 🥰
Young Yan, proper footwear needed for walking on glacier. Another video showing real life moments, that makes your channel unique. You are a really adventurous girl, pay more attention to your safety and health, travelling solo can be really painful if things go wrong. But Chinese people and all minorities seems very nice, a big family indeed. Good luck in your future adventures 😊
Thank you 🥰
Will do
Are minorities not Chinese?
Beautiful country. China has so much natural beauty. Lucky you. Thank you enjoyed the video.
Seriously, I feel anxious when your episodes come to an end, because unconsciously I was hoping it could go on for hours, and I wouldn't stop watching ❤❤❤
that's how I ended up watching her whole back catalogof videos -- I never want it to end!! 😅
Your editing and music is simply mesmerizing. Love watching all your videos.
Your videos are some of the best on TH-cam! Thanks for sharing wonderful place I will never get to see in person.
Thank you 🥰
Thank you! First, I love the cabin where you stayed; I grew up in a relatively old house (relatively old for the USA, that is), and its walls, floors and ceilings were all wood, so I am drawn to that type of building. The part where you are talking with the children (they are adorable!), in the background, someone is using what we used to call a rototiller, to prepare the garden; my family had one, and, when I was about the age of the little boy, it used to fascinate me, as well as scare me (ah childhood!). When you flew the drone over the village and surrounding area, I was awed by the beauty of the landscape; where I grew up (Georgia, USA), although the area had many farms, the landscape was heavily forested, so a relatively bare landscape is so different for me. When you were on your way to the glacier, I thought, "Well, if I was on that trip, I would skip that! Rough roads, snow, hidden crevasses, cold wet feet?! No thank you!" But then, you got to the ice cave - that part was stunning (and I rarely use that word because it is so over used, but in this case it is true)! The aquamarine colored ice! The pebbles suspended in the ice! That was when I realized why people make the effort. Thank you, again, for all that you do! It brings joy!😊
Thank you 🥰
@@littlechineseeverywheresometimes I wonder if you realize just how MUCH good you bring to the world ❤ You really do allow people from all over the world to see our common humanity while appreciating our differences.

You have gone through great heights and depths to reach this place to show us what it’s like to see the Yarlong glacier and the blue cave Yan! Amazing beautiful birds eye view of all the snow capped mountains and glaciers. The sun is stunning hot and the glare in the snowy mountains is real, glad you had your sun shades on. What’s the altitude of this place? I’m glad you didn’t suffer any AMS. Rest well Yan and surely looking forward to your next amazing video ❤️👍

These people are amazing. They are honest, hard-working, humble, simple, and the most spiritual people on earth.
They are being illegally ruled by China

Tqvm for sharing your adventure.
It's very dangerous to explore the ice cave when it started melting, Yan stay safe.
Good morning Yan.🙏❤️
Thank you😊
The glaciers are just beautiful...
It seems that people are participating in religious activities freely.
Of course. It seems that you have brainwashed about China.
Of course. Do not accept western propaganda about China (including Hong Kong) uncritically. Better to visit real places and look for yourself. That applies anywhere and everywhere.
Yes Tibet is not part of communist china

So Beautiful!
I appreciate you a lot . 💕
Wishing you a beautiful day with good health forever. ❤
Wow ! What a stunning video the scenery was inspiring, the ice cave was well worth the effort.
I really enjoyed the segment of the local villagers creating the Buddhist moulds, so nice to see a community come together, enjoy each other's company and keep the old traditions alive.
How long did it take you to get your feet warm, they must have felt like ice ? Made me recall when I was in England during winter in the late 60's standing at a bus stop with my hands, nose & feet feeling like they were frozen. Then about 10 mins in the office and it was so painful as your feet slowly came back to life. Quite happy to watch, but I think I'll keep away from the cold myself.
Stay safe & keeeeeeep warm.
Great videos again from you. Thanks for your information. Really enjoy watch your video.
