- Here I show some more strange rocks I picked up in my travels that I need some help identifying. I'm not sure what they are. Leave a comment and let me know what you think they are. Please visit my blog at www.mdpub.com. for more information. #rocktumbling #rocklife #jasper #agate
Hi Mike, Somehow I'll repay you for this! :) #1, My guess is that you bought this one at a rock shop With #2. From the video - my guess is a piece of Bloodstone/Fancy Jasper from India. #2 - i believe you are correct - Mushroom. #3 - Another chunk of Mikeite. (or Wyomingite) A local rock with no official name. Have a nice evening! Thumbs up! Jim
#2 looks like King Cobra Jasper
No idea what they other than pretty. That last one looks like it would be awesome polished. Was a piece of that in your last episode of "What am I Tumbling Today?"? If not, could you include a picture of one tumbled? Thank you!
Yes, that is the stuff I have been calling "Flame Jasper" in previous videos. I have been tumbling pieces and small slabs of it.
Many times with these type of rocks, they will form a kind of 4d puzzle..
That second rock looks like prehistoric fried eggs.
They’re all pieces of the same “rock”. They may still even fit into place.
