The truck looks great, such a cool kit. While I am not sure, I think the bed side hinges are supposed to be on the under side of the bed. That would probably get the bed sides to sit level with the front and back.
i've seen the same thing right when you showed it the first seconds, and i was like: yeah he's gonna notice that and flip it over... someday i hope :P haha
Medic hands down one of the nicest unique builds i have seen you do. The realism from rust to the bed of the truck. You have to get some mini logs and load that truck up. Keep up the hard work.
If there was a love button I would click it. You go from pristine vehicles to authentic weathered trucks and they are all so fun to see. Great job Medic, I really enjoyed this series even though this is not at all something I would do. AWESOME!!!
I´ve very much enjoyed watching this truck come together, and I´m speechless with admiration for the paint and weathering, particularly on the wood. I´ve always found "steel" easier to age than wood, and have certainly never managed to get it to look so convincing.
I think that perhaps it´s the combination of experienced (in other words, thoughtfully-placed and not heavy-handed) application and use of a variety of techniques which really make this paintwork excel. Profound congratulations and greetings from England : )
Medic this is so epic, I think that a new looking one and an old looking one would be awesome to have, that way you don't feel bad taking out the old looking one on the trail!!
Just ,stunning! Can't wait until you take it through the slop, gooey mud & dirt on an adventure, the addition of real crud and a few washes will take this thing well over the top. Thanks for sharing as always, Medic.
I really like the old school look.Where it been worked for yrs and still going strong, may need a little push now and then but its still a solid bad ass truck ready to keep up with any thing up can load on the old 6 wheeler, lol
When I first saw your channel I sort of laughed. I thought all the finish work was impressive of course but the crawler aspect, well, how hard can it really be haha!! Little did I know. . . I’ve always been into models, rc balsa gas planes, line control too, I’m old I suppose, then helicopters, quads, nitro, etc., I even have multi scale slot car tracks but now I’m really screwed! Thanks for sending me down another rabbit hole Medic! 😆 You’ve got some mad dedication! Waaay cool that it’s also a family hobby!! Wouldn’t mind hitting your track sometime either. Nice build btw. Looks great and I hope your back is doing better!!
WOW you did an amazing job on this build. The paint job you did is extremely well done. You have a great eye for detail when you do projects like this. I think you inspire a lot of people in the hobby to do different things with there RCs. 💪👍👍👍😎
I love seeing what is out new, everything that you build is phenomenal. I wish I could get some new stuff like what you display. Im a disabled veteran, I get no assistance so im still struggling with trying to get cars from the 80s up and running for myself and my son. Its a bit embarrassing to give my son such old vehicles since his friends have the latest and greatest things out. Well I wish you all the luck in your adventures. Keep putting out the videos I enjoy watching.
Awesome build. Like the patina and rust. I just put one together but I went the other way, more of a restored look, shiny and clean. It was a fun build. Actually clear coated the bed sides to make them look new. Love the channel and everything you do to promote the hobby.
Michael, this was my most time consuming and nerve wracking project.. becuase I knew of the detail that had to go into it. Im not quite done yet.. but soon!
I have really enjoyed your series on this truck. I'm glad you did it. Some of the weathering techniques you have used were new to me, so it was informative. If i pick up this truck in the near future, my plan would be to make it an old red weathered version of a coca cola truck. Great video, and thanks for sharing!
Absolutely wonderful Aaron it looks super cool man!!!! I CAN NOT WAIT!!!! For this truck to get in the dirt and do some scale work and see what kinda awesomeness you come up with to produce!!!
Wow did turned out awesome, Great job medic now it looks its age. Ain't never done this might have to try. I really enjoyed watching it go to together, and to see it all done now that is amazing again thank you for sharing Love it
A little paint tip if you got your paint in little containers and you get tierd run into a creative block or life happens put the little containers in fridge it slows dry time so you dont have to waste it. I was a custom painter before i became disabled and used this trick alot especially at end of day lol
It looks phenomenal and I think driving something like that will be a fun challenge. The only thing I'd suggest is getting one of the washes that mimics diesel and going to town around the filler cap. It'll leave that area looking grimy and shiny just like the real thing :) Sorry if its already been suggested but there are way too many comments to look through them all :)
Loved this build. I don't know if I personally would but that much effort into the paint but I will say you did an amazing job with it. As for me getting out side and having some fun I can't, its storming and I have a scared Husky cowering beneath my legs whining at me more than your RC electronics do.
Yet another Mepic build! Love this truck, I think I'd do it up like new, all sleek and shiny, with a rotating wrecker boom, out riggers, more a crane truck than a tow rig. Love your weathering job though, looks great.
That is just beautiful! Amazing! I would have tried painting it just as u did, but I doubt I could do half as good! Amazing work of art! Blows my mind!
It looks great I'm glad you did a massive decayed truck and was informative as well got a tow truck I'm building headed the same direction with the patina
What a piece of art. Wow. The visual just takes me on a trip imagining what and how this thing hauled stuff around. Haha but it’s a brand new truck! This thing is gonna be a blast to watch go through the trails. I need some rust powders bro. Excellent job dude.
I think Im about to get a ton of hate on this truck. As soon as people (who wernt following this build) see it struggling on the trails.. people will shit all over me.. not realizing what this truck is actually supposed to do from 1940's.. Lol. Be there to help me battle the trolls please.. haha ;)

Wooowww Aaron you've done a perfect job and the truck looks like it's done its job on the farm for many years, great respect for this good job my friend......thumbs up 👍👍
Well I am watching the video right now, but I coming tell you I see you got a new mere, man it turned out awesome, I enjoyed this whole build. Again thank you for sharing, it's going to be awesome seeing it out on the trail well back to the video
Wow Medic, just wow. You couldn't have done it any better. 👏👏👏
The truck looks great, such a cool kit. While I am not sure, I think the bed side hinges are supposed to be on the under side of the bed. That would probably get the bed sides to sit level with the front and back.
I can't believe I missed something so obvious.. LOL! Thanks for the heads up.. erm, "I meant to do that"..
i've seen the same thing right when you showed it the first seconds, and i was like: yeah he's gonna notice that and flip it over... someday i hope :P haha
Love these old looking trucks and the details that go into them...
Big band music goes great with the old truck. Nice work!
I love watching these build videos just as much as watching the trucks driving out in the field. Awesome work!
The truck is looking amazing!
The paint job come out amazing it looks like a truck that has been sitting on a fence row for many many years. 👍🏻
AWESOME!!!
Medic truck looks amazing! Can't wait to see it on the trail.

what an amazing compliment.. thank you so very much!
I think that perhaps it´s the combination of experienced (in other words, thoughtfully-placed and not heavy-handed) application and use of a variety of techniques which really make this paintwork excel.
Profound congratulations and greetings from England : )
This truck came out absolutely AWESOME great job MEDIC
Medic this is so epic, I think that a new looking one and an old looking one would be awesome to have, that way you don't feel bad taking out the old looking one on the trail!!

Nice job Medic... Always enjoy your enthusiasm...!
Stunning! Me and my son of 2 years old love it! Nice work and i like to see that did it your way you like it. Can't wait to see it roll.
Gas Tank is actually looking like a decade old rusted metal tank...amazing transformation Medic. Perfection at its best 👌
Beautiful work! Very impressive! Another case of big project + big effort = best possible outcome.
Yeah I'm still watching, great paint job or should I say rust job, and great project. Keep up the great work medic!
Good job! That looks like a genuine barn find. A video with you (your little you) finding it in a barn and taking it for a spin could be cool!
Just ,stunning! Can't wait until you take it through the slop, gooey mud & dirt on an adventure, the addition of real crud and a few washes will take this thing well over the top.
Thanks for sharing as always, Medic.
This is the kind of build I love to see! So neat with the old style and patina look!
WOW looks even better than I thought it would. Great job 10/10
Watching from Indiana! Please do more of these old truck builds!
It looks Awesome Medic. Can't wait to see it run. Love watching these.
I really like the old school look.Where it been worked for yrs and still going strong, may need a little push now and then but its still a solid bad ass truck ready to keep up with any thing up can load on the old 6 wheeler, lol
Im really liking the weathered and rusty look. Is almost be afraid to play with it
Just like that. Well done. Look'n at it game me a flashback.
That paint job just give it a antique look, nice job
I thought the weathering at the start of the video looked great.... Then wow the rust really sets it off. Can't wait to see it out on the trail.
Absolutely breathtaking!!! One of the best!!!
When I first saw your channel I sort of laughed. I thought all the finish work was impressive of course but the crawler aspect, well, how hard can it really be haha!! Little did I know. . . Looks great and I hope your back is doing better!!
Some happy little rust spots...
Damn fine job with the paint, Medic. Impressive.
If I had two of these, I would have one dedicated to being old and the other dedicated to being new. Plus, this project looks really good.
100% Agreed. new and old would look amazing
The truck looks awesome man!!! I love old farm trucks. I can't wait to see it out on a trail!! Great job as always, keep them coming!

That was a great project. I love the rustic paint job.
Yes i would definitely do a rustic paint job.
Awesome build. Like the patina and rust. I just put one together but I went the other way, more of a restored look, shiny and clean. It was a fun build. Actually clear coated the bed sides to make them look new. Love the channel and everything you do to promote the hobby.
It's beautiful, I really appreciate your attention to detail.
Michael, this was my most time consuming and nerve wracking project.. becuase I knew of the detail that had to go into it. Im not quite done yet.. but soon!

Absulut Fantastic Projekt ! This Truck look so Amazing. Thanks medic that you show us such great things.
This turned out amazing. I wish I had that my patience to spend that time making it look that good, mine would have already been ran down the trail.

It looks phenomenal and I think driving something like that will be a fun challenge. If I could build one of these I'd have to look into doing it as an old tow truck. Btw this looks awesome! The rust is so realistic looking.
I can't wait to see the struggle on the trails!
I think Im about to get a ton of hate on this truck. As soon as people (who wernt following this build) see it struggling on the trails.. people will shit all over me.. not realizing what this truck is actually supposed to do from 1940's.. Lol. Be there to help me battle the trolls please.. haha ;)
