This documentary captures the highs and lows of the race, from conquering the formidable Kegeti Pass to enduring a challenging fall that tests Allan's resilience. Witness the mental and physical strength required to persevere through to the end, as Allan reflects on the race.
An unforgettable adventure, exploring not only the rugged landscapes but also the logistics and adaptability needed for such a demanding endeavor. Allan's story is a testament to the indomitable spirit of human determination.

Pretty sure he said something about silk road on a Brompton at the end.😂
On an Eerder Metaal Explorer no problem ;-)
You are full of wisdom, your last section speaking of what holds so many of us back and how to move past that was so helpful to me ty.
Oh! Such an amazing story! Thanks for sharing Allan! I’ve wanted an Omnium for a long time, and this has done nothing - NOTHING to dissuade me.
Allan is such an inspiring human ❤
I think I've seen all the movies about silkroad, AMR etc. This is the best! Mostly because Allan is the best. Big love!
Love it! We are adding it to our "long distance cycling stories" collection.
He'll do the next Silkroad on a Brompton, with the 20 inch wheel conversion kit. Go for it!
This is something truly special. Well done for capturing the human challenge and spirit in such vivid color. Beautiful work, and obviously huge respect for the achievement!
What a wonderful video, and such positive energy. Brilliant.
wow, what an effort and what a great film from an inspiring rider and team.
Great vid and what awesome adventure. Gotta love the attitude and hope theres a few more challenges planned!
Amazing achievement and very nice film
Awesome man, congrats. Next year do it on a Tandem! Not sure if it’s been done, but that would be sweet.
ammmaaazing video and story!
Finally! So cool! What is the effective head tube angle? Must be less than the grim donut!
Powerful experience, powerful story from second number 1
What a lovely little film. Sad about the missing gopro footage but oh well, still a story well told.
Incredible ride, thanks for sharing.
I KNEW there was a better way to carry my snacks around these ultras!
I can't believe that some little git stole his GoPro! What the hell!?
Great effort, great attitude, great film (regardless)!
Richtig tolle Film🍿 um motiviert zu bleiben. Grüße aus Griechenland 🇬🇷. 🚴
What an excellent effort. At least you could load up the cargo bike with goodies. Looking at the terrain I'd go for a fat bike.... with full sus... And a motor 😂 Bravo Sir, grand effort 👏👏👏
Awesome story.
How about using a Brompton? :p
Silk road on a tandem! Do it!
Next time try doing it on a fixie!
Proud to ride an Omnium every day.
qui a demandé
What do you mean by "it was taken from his bike at a resupply stop"?
Great little film, enjoyed following the race and Allan. Question, did you lose your cleats at some point? There's a shot of you sitting next to another rider with no cleat in your shoe...
This is a very good video
Great effort, made it look too easy. Take a penny farthing next time.
Pennyfarthing next time?
it shouldnt be normalised to pudh through knee pain. that shit can fuck you up
if anything, it was "extremised" rather than normalized. I get your point but everyone has to decide their own limits.
Agreed
Love the Story Amazing !! But for gods sake can we please stop putting Stickers all over everything ...its a form of pollution both environmental and visual. ....And i mean everyone please JUST STOP!!!! I would love to look at this beautiful gate as you called it without a Stickesr stuck to it....its a real bummer!!!
Too much tattoos
Very annoying film but okey... Nice bike...
