@jmanwild Justin at blackbear tuning did my tuning. I'm not sure how much he adjusted my fuel injectors but with cai and exhaust i know he adjusted air / fuel ratio, rev limit, shift points, and i'm sure there is other things he changed. As for what you were seeing in my video, that is just moisture, very humid when the video was taken, haha damn sure isn't fuel
@chevelle454ss1 that sounds about the normal price but the sound and no drone is worth the money... you could maybe find a cheaper one though.... and thanks for the compliment, its now lowered 4 inches
hey there love it sounds bad ass i just got my corsa sport and high flow cats installed today but they dont seem as loud do they get louder as they break in Please answer!!!1
I got the same setup on my SS and a couple of months ago I started getting a vibration noise at low rpms mostly when coasting to a stop. Thought it was the muffler so corsa sent a replacement but it still does it. All my clamps are tight and heat shields aren't loose. Did yours do the same thing? If so where was it coming from? Thanks
@davenorr84 First off i didn't spend that much on my set up (found a good deal online). Second Corsa is designed to have no drone. My truck is pretty loud IMO but on the inside i have zero drone and that is why they are higher priced. I love the sound of flowmaster and magnaflow but they both have drone that i didnt want so that justified spending a little extra for the exhaust that i wanted. Corsa is a straight through with no drone super 44's are a 2 chamber muffler that has terrible drone
@kaos5582 I like it a lot! Its loud as piss under throttle but at cruising speeds its very hard to hear, no drone. Only right at 55mph going up a small incline will it have any drone. I want LTs but pricey for the top of the line ones. Ya get rid of the flowmaster, they sound good but performance suffers.
nicee truck dude!! question and for anyone my fuckin lq9 6.0 ss 2003 with 50,000 miles the motor just fucking blew up on me the oil pan completly cracked off its been babied very well. Any body no how or why this happened? i was thinkin connecting rods but idk and what should i do to make my new motor stronger the 6.0 thanks!
ACH91332 aftermarket outflows factory. factory exhaust can't exceed a certain decibel level. it may be just a few extra decibels, but it reshapes the tone and that's what he wanted.
I replaced mine on my 03 SS the factory converters failed and they weren’t that high flow as the MagnaFlow I have now. I’ve had my truck for 14+ years 216000 miles. Engine runs much better now with new Cats. Getting this Corsa Sport Exhaust next month.
i cant justify spending $800 on a straight through single 3 inch setup.. how can you say a single 3 inch pipe out flows true dual 3 inch super 44s with an x pipe? for a 1/4 of the price. IDK why they would "Y" down a factory dual 3 inch setup?? slap a 3 inch x pipe in there with 2 of basically any performance muffler (flowmaster, magnaflow, dynomax) up over the axle and dump it after the back tires. more flow than your motor will ever throw
Mitchell Redies The cats are built into the y-pipe. Kooks among other companies sells these catalytic y-pipes on Summit. They arent cheap though.... Win for delayed response.
This is the best sounding SS in the entire world. I am getting one in May and plan on this EXACT setup.

I hope you still got that truck
Found the Corsa on ebay for a steal, the cats were bought from summit and all labor was done myself so around 700ish for the exhaust parts
SweetSS24 do u know what brand and model cats? and any cel?

damn dude that sounds awesome, you should throw long tubes on there
Nice, did the cats make a big difference in the sound? looking into also getting high flo for mine
Did you just cut the old ones out and weld in the new ones to the factory ypipe?
Do you think adding the high flow cats made much of a power/performance difference? Versus just going with the CAI, Corsa Exhaust and Blackbear tune?
Awsome high flow cats thay sound awsome :-)
@SweetSS24 does blackbear tune ajust fuel injector rates or anything like that? condensation out of the exhaust? cold outside? i hope thats not fuel.
2005 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Texas Edition Crew Cab LT3 4 door
SWEET!!!!!!!!!
my dream truck
@SS3HINOJOSA Thank you! and they are magnaflow cats.
@24nickSss Go to silverado ss.com and there will be plenty of information to answer your question
@crzygermans Yes they made it quite a bit louder. Personally If i was to do it over again i would have saved my money and got a nice set of headers.
how is that blackbear tune.. and how did you get it done lol i got a 5.3 id like to add a lil kick too if its not tooooo pricey lol
always good to rev a cold engine
What headers are you going for?
@jmanwild truck was warm before i did the video
@SweetSS24 thats good. I got 93,000km of warantee, then tuning it is!
nice sound, where'd ya get the high high flow cats?
fuqn luv that sound
@TheLowlife19 Thank you!
hey there love it sounds bad ass i just got my corsa sport and high flow cats installed today but they dont seem as loud do they get louder as they break in Please answer!!!1

How much you spend on this set up?

@Engine201 i think i ordered them from summit racing
@SweetSS24 thanks man!! i kinda know what my x-mas gift will be now:D LOL
@cjmcilveen nope not yet

14-16 depending on the type of driving, it has 4:10 gears which really hurts the highway mpg
SweetSS24 I have a 2005 suburban z71 that gets 16 to 17mpg with 3.55 hears at 70 lol
How much gas mileage do u get with all those mods
How much that setup run you ? Im wantin somthin like that on my intimidator

nothing like wasting money on high flow cats to replace the free high flow cats that were installed on the truck at the factory

No it should be the same its whole life... just add Long tube headers lol :) ....do not waste your money on shorty headers for these engines
Jeez
I have a 2012 chevy Silverado. Does anyone know where I can get some high flow cats for it?
Mitchell Redies The cats are built into the y-pipe. Kooks among other companies sells these catalytic y-pipes on Summit. They arent cheap though.... Win for delayed response.
@danlakhani I would love to have ARH or dynatechs but for the money i'll prolly go with OBX
@pdub4271991 LTs are on the "to do" list for sure.... just takes money lol
@motoxxxracer28 Ouch lol
that's what i did lol
