I know this comment is late, but just wanted to say the speed sensor on a 2000 Dodge Ram 1500 van is the exact same, in case it helps someone since I couldn't find anything at all about the speed sensor location in a Ram van on TH-cam.
Good video, 1. O-ring gasket 2. Sealant 3.clean mating surface. 4.ha,ha,ha,. Not a Skrew,"NUT." Not a skrew,"BOLT." STILL GOOD WORK, METRIC WRENCHES USED.
At 3:40 I see u have fluid leaking at the speed sensor. I have Dodge Dakota 2000 V6 and have the same leaking there. Why? Is that axle fluid leaking out of the gasket/ring that the speed sensor has? Or could we just tighten that speed sensor nut?
If you splice the wires together will it still work I replace a rear end axle and I couldn't pull the plug off so I just cut the wires and cut the other wires and connected it would that affect the speed sensor
Adam Pakula ,Dodge, book says all have a,R.W.A.B.S.,rear wheel anti-lock brakes= nothing more than a speed sensor, montering the magnetic speed of the rear ring gear.

Took a 3.55 out and put a 4.10 in mine, best thing I could have done.
What did it do
I have the same issues and symptoms but after replacing the sensor I still have those lights on and no speedometer
Ik this is like 11 month late but it you probably bought a bad sensor it happens
Would this cause 4x4 to lock up in the rear?
Sorry, not sure about that

Raul Ybarra sorry, I dont know.. Technically it shouldn't, but maybe it did mess it up ir the new rear end has a different part number sensor in it?
I have a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 2WD and I have the code P0320 the code reader says Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit.
Have any idea what could be the problem?
which transmission will it work with? or it doesn't matter? I have 2002 quad cab 4x4 lt
Adam Pakula I'm not sure about the 4wd setup. This is 2wd. Thanks and good luck

Should have done the work first...then go back and video..would be much cleaner and neater.
