    Can you fit your lens hood on with the filter on or with the magnetic rings on? That would be a deal breaker for me if you can't. I have been using Freewell magnetic filters for 3+ yrs. You can with them, filter on or just the mag ring. Thanks.

      I don’t use lens hoods but I can confidently say that it won’t fit on top of a lens hoods I’m afraid

    How does that CPL work if it’s locked. Shouldn’t you rotate it for the polarization to take place, will I be unlocking it in the process?

    • @arthur.edelmans
      @arthur.edelmans  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You will be unlocking it as you rotate the filter, but as per the durability test, it won’t be coming off

      @@arthur.edelmans Good to know, This seems to be the most versatile and easy to use filter kit. I like the fact that it comes with multiple step up rings.

    • @arthur.edelmans
      @arthur.edelmans  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @ indeed. The smallest size is 62, which is still a little too big for vintage lenses, so you might need to get another step up ring, but other than that it’s good

    • @arthur.edelmans
      @arthur.edelmans  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah, I think due to not having a proper locking mechanism, a variable ND would be harder to make. Will have to wait and see

  • @hoodaffairstv

    is that cap magnetic or just a metal cap clamping on to a magnetic nd filter

    • @arthur.edelmans
      @arthur.edelmans  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The cap is made out of metal and all the filters including the step up ring have a magnet on one side

    I was going to say the kit is pricey but for the look you get, it might be worth. I'm looking to get a set of Catta zooms. those will run me about 6-7x this, this could be a good alternative.

      Well that’s the thing. Matte boxes are cool and all, but I’d rather have a filter personally. And these come on and off super easily (in a good way 😊)

    These filters are the missing piece to my puzzle. I hate the threaded filters as they are time consuming and demotivating to use. The threaded filters also keep getting stuck on me...

    i dont know why they didn't implament the step-up rings with the nisi swift system .... i just bought them a few months ago and was pissed when i found out i had to STILL SCREW THE FILTER ON EACH LENS!! They really need to change the name of that system because there is nothing swift about them, literally, the exact same issue we have always had!
    but now im stuck with them and now they wanna come out with this........

    • @arthur.edelmans
      @arthur.edelmans  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I see the frustration. I think they need to release a VND for the JetMag system and then it will be perfect

  • @shanemora6234
    @shanemora6234 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

    I'm interested in this system as I need to replace a couple scratched filters. Would you mind sharing more info about the CPL please? Are you able to adjust the intensity of it, and if so, does that mean it would have to potentially rest outside of the lock aligned position? Also, assuming the CPL needs at least one of the ND filters to be on it in order to work? Thx in advance.

    • @arthur.edelmans
      @arthur.edelmans  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi, you can twist the CPL filter to adjust the angle of reflection you’re trying to minimize. So it’s not about the intensity really.
      And you don’t need an ND filter for it to work

    • @shanemora6234

    Is there any colour shift compared to business true colour system

    • @arthur.edelmans

      I’m not sure I understand what a business true color system is.

    • @IanSnape
      @IanSnape 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @chaochewei6213 there is no colour shift as this is not a VND, VND causes colour shift due to 2 polarisation filters put together.
      Hence why Fixed ND filters are better for video if you prioritise accuracy in your colours.
