We have an old vx s pac at home im thinking of giving love over the summer. What else besides coilovers is good for a oem + build

With the old coilovers they made there wasn’t much threads inside the lower collar of the front struts unless you ran a really low height, have they changed that at all? I’m on the fence about buying them and I don’t want to get them to find I can’t run them at a SL/SSL equivalent height without losing strength from the threads in the lower collar. Cheers mate great video

There is plenty of thread engagement I found on these ones mate
My discount code is RKGarage10 if that helps you out at all

@@RKGarage that’s good to hear, the old ones were not ideal to run any higher than tire on guard. Thanks for the fast reply + discount code

Did you bolt down the strut tops the same as factory or did you just use the one nut? Just chucked some of these in my track car and I've got nowhere near as much thread out the top as you do 😅

      Can only use 1 nut
No other way to install them

I ended up finding some smaller 14mm nuts and tried that
Not too keen on the amount of thread though so I might just go the same way
      Cheers mate@@RKGarage

On that rear shock there seems to be some fluid leakage… is that the case or is the fluid from elsewhere?

Surge tank fitting had a leak
