Thanks, it’s been a struggle on my own. The Honda shop locally helped in initial set up with pairing bike, phone kinda stuff. But I ride with old fellas who do cb coms, and just 4 of our group with Sena’s so nobody knows how to intercom even. I hope through efforts like your video I can get these guys up to speed.(cb-radio for 2022 Honda Goldwing is $1800! ) I’m still paying for the new bike, I already have 50s ( or the Honda Nav won’t work without headset).
I have a 30K set, but recently they 2nd set doesn’t get the prompt. I can get 1st pair to say “music sharing on” but nothing on 2nd set. It should say “would you like to accept music sharing”, but nothing. Both are in mesh Public mode. Any suggestions?
say myself and a friend both have 30ks , is there a way that we can either be in a mesh chat or a Bluetooth chat together and only 1 of us listen to our own music and still communicate to each other or both be listening to our own music and still communicate
From my understanding with the new software update this is much easier now! I use mesh all the time, hit play and listen to my own music. The volume of the music will reduce if your friend talk or if it picks up anything on the mic (wind noise, road noise, etc) so you may have to adjust the mic sensitivity cause it can get annoying if you have a helmet that's on the louder side. Cheers!
im looking at the spider series, can I use mesh mode too talk too friends, while listening too music without sharing it too them? and them listen too their own music as well?
Not a bug, it would seem. It would appear that half of the 'audio level' is sent to the headset in the originating helmet, while the other half of the audio is being sent to the Mesh transmitter for sharing. In any event, I would strongly recommend updating your Sena's firmware, as improvements & changes are made in how things function.
Not sure which Sena you have but I do music sharing with my friend who has a Sena 20s! 1. Connect with each other via Bluetooth 2. Play music on your phone (You won't hear anything yet) 3. Press & hold the tap button until it says "Music Sharing On" 4. You both will hear the music but won't be able to talk together! 5. To go back into intercom just press and hold the tap button and it'll say "Music Sharing Off" Good luck!

If you are connected via Mesh, then yes, talk and music can happen at the same time.
