I love the jumper you are wearing, it's so beautifull!! I wish I could make something like that. I'm glad you are feeling better after having the dreaded covid. I have had it twice and it's a horrible bug. I am never as Ill as my husband tho, I thought he wasn't going to make it the first time he got it. The sound is so much better on your video today, Thank you 😘
My jumper is from Next if you’re UK based? I almost bought the matching dog jumper for my dog lol but thought *no* I don’t need a £20 jumper for my dog 🤣 and I have 4 dogs so it would be £80 for them to hate wearing them 🤣
Good to see you in the pink-- back in your pink room---after Covid! It was interesting that the alpaca yarn was sent to Italy then back to the UK. Alpaca kisses how sweet!
I was so paranoid it was going to spit on me I didn’t enjoy the kisses lol, but they were very sweet! It was so interesting to find out about the processes of getting from animal to yarn! I guess it makes sense that it would have to be sent abroad as the UK industry was geared towards wool production. I believe Italy is known for its fine Cashmere production so perfect for softer fibres like Alpaca 💕
Hi Betty so nice to see You again! I missed You a lot and honestly for the last 2 weeks I was checking everyday if you posted a new episode:) The croshe blanket looks beautiful. I am sure when you finish it it will give You lost of joy! I wish I could croshe so definitely I would like to make such a masterpiece as well. Good luck with your project and can t wait to see your next post! Love Aneta
So lovely of you to say 💕. You should give crochet a go if you’re a knitter, I’m many ways it’s easier/quicker to get a finished item once you’ve mastered the basics. TH-cam is great for tutorials and basic stitches. I wouldn’t start with the gingerbread blanket though as it’s quite complicated! Maybe something more simple like a granny square ❤️
I'm glad you're feeling better. I've had Covid twice and I agree, it's not nice. My mum asked for a hand knit aran jumper for Christmas. I chose a pattern with cabling only on the sleeves to ensure I got it finished in time. With your mum's jumper why don't you knit the neckband now rather than at the end. It will be easier than holding the weight of the whole jumper and you can also see how it looks.
That’s a great idea. I tried it on my mum and it fits over the bust but is mahoosive at the neck lol so I’m going to have to do some magic to bring it in so it keeps her neck warm! 🤣
Can you get the right weight for your bulky project by combining two DK yarns? The cat in the alpaca farm is so cute!! We have an alpaca farm about an hour away, I want to bring my cat there now 😅
With your project for your mum did you measure the 40 inches around the full bust or underarms? If you measured full bust it will be too big in shoulders and neck
Ohhhh should I have measured around the fullest part ie the shoulders and arms too? The pattern did say for just measurement knit this size but 🤷🏻♀️. I’ve pulled it back by taking some sts out when I added the neck ribbing and tried it on the mothership and it’s perfect now ❤️. Just not used to knitting modern patterns and in DK lol

Covid brain is a real thing. Folks underestimate the after effects! Glad you're feeling better. Beautiful lavender basket weave knit💚💛💚
It really is! Thanks 🤞🏻 I have enough yarn to complete it lol
