Great video John. I unfortunately passed on this one (the only time I ever saw it). It was $70 But I did manage to snag two 12 yr Springbanks at $85. ( I left like 6) came back two weeks later for one more and they were gone. And this was before COVID. So yeah, if you see something of this caliber in the wild. Snatch it and worry about the expenditure later.
@@justwhisky I wish I could still find those 12 yr olds. They’re as rare as hens teeth in my area . Even at $110. Prices are skyrocketing. One store I visited had benriach 10 and the curiositas each for $40, Deanston 12 $40, Clynelish 14 $55, HP 15 $60, Glendronach 12 $50, Aberlour 18 $100, etc. Now everything on that list is from 65-160. Ridiculous. I can’t imagine that many people can afford these price hikes. The “stimulus” can help I guess. 🤣

Very decent! I picked this up (£50) and Springbank 10 (£65) in the past few weeks. Was amazed to see them in the shop.... but you're right - just whisky. Next time I'll get something that's more available and affordable like Arran 10 or something like that
