I really liked Sun Vulcan from back in the 80's even though there was no character development whatsoever. Zyuranger, GoGoFive, and Magiranger were my favorites from the modern series.
I haven't really seen Sun Vulcan. The only thing I saw was one of Sun Vulcan's movies but that's about it. GoGoFive is also pretty good. I haven't really seen Magiranger but some have told me that its better than Power Rangers Mystic Force.
Got my buddy the complete Zyuranger set for Christmas and he loved it. we watched hours of it. We even spent time putting 2 and 2 together between MMPR and Zyuranger, understanding where the stock footage was put in and where the plot for Power Rangers used it and what not. Alot of "Oh that explains ______ " Ensued. And while super sentai is a bit darker, it's still silly and campy as fuck and has funny moments. Both series are fun to riff on but just as fun to sit back and immerse ourselves in. And at the end of the day we haven't changed our views on how much we like both. There is no winner because we didn't set out for it to be a competition. I once read an online article about Power Rangers vs Zyurangers and...."nitpicking bias" came to mind. Its great if you like one over the other but this person's arguments were...petty. On another note I looked online where people were asked "which was better" and alot of fans of sentai/power rangers said that it wouldn't be fair to compare the two given how they don't share too much outside of battle footage. It was nice to see a cultural comparison that wasn't skewed so easily or quickly...save for that article...so yeah...both variants are great for me and my buddy

Bandai and the others worked on the games. Bandai was the one that created Eureka Seven, a cool anime franchise that Involves with sky-flying robots. You must watch it. Funimation reworked Bandai’s dub while Viz got the manga from Bandai Entertainment.

Man Ex-Aid has been goddamn great so far. I'm loving it and every episode gets me excited to keep watching unlike...last years Kamen Rider.....which uh....was....great.
Maybe I've watch too much Power Rangers but I recognised all the monsters in those two shitty NES titles, I'd say "and Zyuranger" but I've only watched it all the way through twice once raw when I thought it'd never be subbed and then once again when those losers at GUIS & MegaAnon subbed it and an even bigger loser made the hardsubs (not sure who that was) but then Shout had to go and release it legally ruining all the fun 😝

The Choujin Sentai Jetman game is legitimately one of my favorites, and I didn't realize that it had a bootleg. I've beaten both it and the Zyuranger game, and did end up finding Power Rangers 2. It was hilarious to me that it was just the Zyuranger game. Surprised there's no Power Rangers Turbo bootleg for the excellent Gekisou Sentai Carranger game, but at the same time, it was a Sufami Turbo game.
As for stuff that's going on right now, I'll strongly recommend the Boom! Studios Power Rangers comic. It was way better than expected. Matter of fact, if you want, I'll send you a copy as a thanks for all your hard work over the years.

I still think the Game Gear Power Rangers games are the best of all of them. Definitely more simplistic than the 16-bit games but just fast-paced and fun... there's something about them that gets me hooked.
At this point I'm done hoping for reboots to do good, I'll just wait. I don't know where I am with Kamen Rider. I hear great things but I'm so confused.

Power Rangers has always been in a weird spot for me. Like I kinda want to watch it, but I feel like it's one of those shows that you'll only get the full enjoyment out of if you grew up with it, which I didn't (I didn't like live action shows as a kid, so if it wasn't animated, I didn't watch it).
Yuriofwind is like that one guy at school who shows up for a week every month and then gets sick resulting in them being gone again for the next month
