Seriously. THIS game beats CoD to the dirt and takes back the definition of "innovative" for the home team (anyone with a soul). Sorry for falling over myself to agree, but, really, 'The newest, shiniest, state of the art military gear' really doesn't stand up to 'Magic...'nuff said.

You say undeserved, I say well deserved. It was an average counter strike clone that by all means should not have had anything to do with shadowrun. I'd rather you make your own original content or a better shadowrun game, then bring back this pointless game. Better yet, go make a TC mod for CSGO.
I bought this game when it was new. Of which the game had a very robust community. So much so that the game appeared in a couple of LAN matches. But as soon as Halo 3 and cod Mw1 were released, it became increasingly difficult to find a match and apart from some core fans, the game was almost forgotten.

Because those thousands of players didn't come back. And this drop in player happened rather quickly. 4-6 months after the game first launch.

This is when even the core community finally moved onto other games.

I played this game, online... and guess what? It was easy. No offense meant to you, but if you play as a human or an elf, memorize the teleportation spots and use them to escape your enemies, every match becomes a game of "Nya Nya Nya Nya Nya" Don't get me wrong, this game was amazing, if it had an actual singleplayer story it would have been a masterpiece, but it was by no means, hard.
+VENOMKYD117 Depending on how many games you played and the population online at the time, the game would match you with players of similar "true-skill". If you only played a few games or played when the population died down, you would not come up against as many skilled players. This is one of the most skillful games I have ever come across.
I was playing it at it's peak... and I played it obsessively. I NEVER struggled to get a match and I played a lot, but as I said... it just wasn't that hard. Once you memorized the good teleportation spots, popping in and out of existence? Was easy. Managing your budget was also a breeze... and you didn't even need power weapons to rip through your enemies.

This game was so amazing. Not only was it fun inclusive and had a lot of depth but it also had representation of all the races. Trolls, Elves, Humans and Dwarves. You couldn't ask for more from a video game.

Main reason people hate it is because it was a very loose interpretation of a tabletop RPG that was supposed to be pretty good. Which makes me sad, because that means this game had a ton more potential in a lot of areas. Still, awesome multiplayer game. I should probably get a copy again.

Keep in mind this game had cross play between PC and xbox360. Race abilities, cs/valorant type gameplay with buying magic and abilities. This game is probably better than 80% of games out today.

By FAR one of the most, if not THE most underrated shooters of all time. It was so PERFECTLY balanced. Example: The trolls had armor, but as soon as you had a kamikaze dwarf run in there with a shotgun, it was done. The dwarf would suck up all the magic from the troll and the armor wouldn't be able to protect it. I always remember using gust on people running around in smoke, and it would just destroy them. Love it!

Note, this game has nothing to do with shadowrun lore and takes place in it's own universe.
And they're still THOUSANDS of kilometers away from Brasilia.
Game was definitely, definitely ahead of its time. It's just amazing.

The new Shadowrun games are great. You can slip by combat encounters in so many ways. The runs are so cool.
I also like the Shadowrun games where you play as a Shadowrunner and go on Shadowruns
