boycotting the apps , it’s going to penalise everyone that’s the whole point of becoming one and uniting against the apps these apps will take your customer base and keep upping their commissions, when do you stop? 30%/35%
I understand what you mean but in 2024, how would a customer in a side street, of a suburb of London be able to hail a Taxi? Once I completed the journey I gave the customer as much info about Unify London Taxis and hopefully they download that app and have luck. I’m fully against these companies ripping us for upto 20% commission and I agree, I can only see that increasing. I’d rather a customer who wants a Taxi, gets converted to Unify than downloads one of the other mobs apps. Notice it was “no app Saturday” and not a weekday, when plenty of drivers cream the corporate work and the drivers on the weekend are the ones who should be effectively striking…
@@ALondonCabbie i agree with you when you said it’s the hotel bungers and corporate workers in the weekday. but we should we have a fully no app day whether it’s a weekday or weekend. these apps will carry on ripping us. the customer on the side street wanting a cab doesn’t know the politics behind the driver and the apps. we do. eventually passengers will realise somethings happening and start questioning drivers as to why there’s no one working apps.
So at this stage. You’re only getting into it. Can you narrate the run as per screen time. I know you’re calling it like a blue book run. Also pls stop telling us your stopping short of customers home address. Gets boring. Maybe throw in some landmarks like a tour in the commentary. The music was good as silent ones were notably missing but good for sleep. As watch in bed. The map is good 😊. Maybe an idea on price for runs. We don’t need to know your total wages. Like is Heathrow was 60. Maybe Southend was 150? Or was it. I like the taxi n London slang keep that up.

I do mention about stopping the video short as previously, other cabbies that have done POV videos have come into real issues with the operator (won’t mention the name) I’m just hopefully ticking a box to avoid any issues down the line. I’ll definitely try to include more info on the streets and landmarks for future videos. I only know what’s missing, when I get feedback like you’ve left so thank you very much.
