I have loaded several "dead" dozers in my day and with another machine of comparible size it shouldn't be a problem. Get some BIG snatch blocks and a long cable and she will slip right on. Hydrostatic machines are a whole different monster.
Hey Charles. Sorry for the delay in getting back. We are going to try to use another D6 to push it up. I hope to get it on camera. Will see how it goes. Thanks for watching
6c never had solid sprockets pony was option but not many cat built more 6cs than any other run i have 10k6850 been r/r one end to other will hang in all day if i can stay on it good luck one thing i dont like about is the hyd hoses on top of mtr when you replace those be sure to use high pressure flame retardent hose those manifolds and valve covers make a perfect trap for debries have had several fires but no damage always carry 5gal h2o 2 fire ext.
Well Charlie you know that and I know that but you would be surprised how many people buy old machines that have way outdated parts. Getting sprocket rims is almost impossible. I agree these can go up like a candle. Thanks for watching!
Them d6c are a dam good machine hope to watch the rebuild with you and can't wait to see the end result. I still run a couple d6d they are tough tractors.
Oh man I’ve started many adventures with a “why not” best of luck to ya sir😂 I know the perfect guy that’s kind of local to you. I’m sure he’d have been all for helping move the old girl. Shoulda called in a favor
Hey Jason! Hope all is well I know you’ve been busy. Yep this could go good or bad but why not. May end up in the scrap. I don’t think Old Dirt could haul this classic.
A knockwurst.. if the engine runs. What's the worst you could be into it?? Seals n lube with some wire. And 4O hrs of a tech level 2 who gains experience points..
Hey teebugg sorry I did t see your comment until just now. It’s been so hot we haven’t started but it’s starting to cool off. More videos to come. Thanks for watching!!
Best I can remember the D6 C was a very good machine. Cannot wait to see the rebuild . Always wanted to do something like never had the time.
Well Dave I hope it doesn’t blow up in my face. Either way we are going to film it so you can see how it turns out. Thanks for watching buddy!!
I think it'll be cool to watch this whole deal go down start to finish. Keep the vids coming and good luck.
Thanks Blackdog!!

Sounds like a good barter, when I was a kid I traded dressed turkeys for haircuts with my barber. Interested in seeing the rebuild.
Never done a Barter. So far so good. I’m going to post real numbers at the end. Love the turkeys for haircuts. Thanks for watching!!
The barter deal sounds like a win win for both of you. Will be waiting for the video of it being loaded. Maybe Mr. Perfect can assist.
I may get Dirt in on this. We are moving it close to him to get started. Thanks for watching!
The Barter did work out sweet!!

@@TruckorTrack I’m intrigued to see how it goes! Don’t you dare scrap it without telling me first 😉🙂
I think you should call dirt perfect for help if you get that thing
Old Dirt Perfect can’t handle this classic beast!! Lol!! Thanks for commenting Chris!!
Hopefully we don't have to wait 2 months to see the next video
We are doing better getting stuff out. We have a axe handle review coming up next. Should be fun! Thanks for watching.
I think you should donate some parts to Dirt Perfect to restore his old D6/9U!
