Been thinking about this kind of layout of seating/dining for a sprinter or iveco as I have kids to occasionally cater for aswell not seen it done thinking there's too many complications until now! Loving the content ash and keep giving me reason to just go out and build my ultimate weekend/live in van!

Fiona O'Kane , the solar panels are Renogy and are 100w each 👍🏻

Love the electic grey water dump valve, but how about one of your redundant cameras mounted under the van so you can see when the waste pipe is over the drainfrom the cab 👍👍👍

@@JohnnyBurr OOps sorry I saw that too but I thought you where talking about Ash when you mentioned 'redundant cameras' because he has struggled once to get over the dump. Think the system I saw was just to position over the drain but was still a manual tap. Totally agree that if Greg has a spare camera then it's a cracking idea 🙂👍👍

Great first tour Ash! Something I really enjoy is peoples regrets about the van build, you know the stuff we thought we need but realised that "shit, that was a real waste of time and money" Learning from others mistakes and all that

would you spray the inside of a van with raptor paint as first protection/sound ending then insulate?
Steve Kirk 100% but saying that there is a better product coming out on the UK market soon that is much better than raptor and is flexible when hard . So won’t crack . But then again if you covering Ovr it it wouldn’t matter . Raptor is proven to keep heat in as well . My van is much warmer than before I did it . And it’s silly easy to do I did mine in the front driveway

Cheers again Ash for the video and thanks Greg for allowing us to have a butchers at your van. Love the weight saving ideas you came up with, your camera system is the flunking dognuts & I might be late to the party but is Greg the only one to think to put gas struts on tilting solar? Cracking job.
Science time, and I'm not an expert and I have no idea if I'm right I'm just thinking what I learnt in school so.... In the van we put vent holes in the floor to let the heavy dangerous gas escape? Y/N I think Yes, so why does everyone (even in brick homes) put CO2 detectors above head height? Its to late by the time it detects it?? Well thats how I see it guys and I don't know if I'm right but but guess how low I'm putting mine
Cheers dude 👊🏻 as for the detector, they are actually carbon monoxide not carbon dioxide detectors. Cm is the deadly one produced from burning things and that is a lightweight gas so it raises up in the van.
The reason you have drop out vents is in the event of a gas leak because unburnt gas is "very" heavy so it sinks to the ground. Hope that helps 😊

Is the hob lpg? No it’s gas. Haha. I respect him just getting on with the build, but it looks flimsy. Maybe I just over engineered mine, but I’d be worried about that bad boy holding up over rattly roads.
And here's me thinking I did a rather good job with my Tilly.
