Great video. I'm about to start another build. However, I'll be getting a vm32 carb for my new 420. I dont like them throttle springs and the throttle plate junk.
@@gearsgreasengas4313 I thought you guys were in Shasta County. That where I'm located. I have a Manco Intruder that I'm about to upgrade to a 13hp Honda
Ok, I can finish my motor install now. I can always add the kit later. Looks like it may be a good idea to upgrade the valve springs once I purchase the kit. Thanks!
If you just disconnect the govener arm on top of the engine , do you have to remove the govener wheel and j shaft in the engine?
I'm going to be doing this to my Murray Kilowatt in the spring of 2021. I'm saving so I can buy everything at once!
What number jet did u use?
Dude you should have used a pair of bolt cutters
Why is it necessary to crack open the case to remove the gov?
Can't you just unhook the mechanism and hook straight to the throttle?
Yes you can but this way you can remove the gear completely
if your not going to use side cover gasket you really should check crank end play.
Another reminder is to install 35lbs springs to avoid bent valves plus increase RPM

Good vid. I already took the governor out, do I need to add the kit for any reason?
