@O-Face Productions Why do you think he deserved it? Honestly, not wanting to get a new paint job ruined (for a train) is like not wanting to get a new suit ripped the moment you put it on. It's a completely reasonable reaction. Encasing someone in a tomb because he doesn't want to get "new clothes" ruined is not a reasonable reaction.

Honestly, a lot of people think Arthur is overly wholesome but as a child, that's exactly what I needed. @@webkinlam Yeah. I watched the episode when I was younger, but I didn't realize it till I re watched it. It was from the Wild Kratts episode "Platypus Cafe". A new villain was introduced who was an illegal chef who hunted endangered animals to prepare food. He was looking to cook platypus eggs and one of the miniaturized Kratt Brothers , Chris, got captured and Gourmand, the chef, kept implying that he was going to cook him as a side dish to the eggs, saying that he wanted "a side of Kratt".
off-topic, but the alignment of your profile picture is so perfect it doesn't look like a profile picture, more like part of the page! I bet it would look just as cool in bright theme (I use dark theme)
There was this Thomas Christmas movie I had on VHS and the plot was Percy was frozen cus of a blizzard the movie wasn’t scary at all. But there was this one scene where Thomas was going by Percy (of course not knowing he was there) saw Percy but thomas couldn’t see it but only eyes that were following Thomas. Thomas being as smart as always thinking it was a monster, Thomas ran away. But the thing that made it horrifying was the eerie music in the background. That was the first time I ever felt fear.
April 9th. I could relate very well to that episode since I had PTSD myself. Back in 2018, a 7.3 grade earthquake struck my home. I was alone in my apartment, the lights went out, I was in an 8th floor fearing the building would collapse and the sea was only a couple kilometers away so I feared a tsunami. For the next few months, I wasn’t the same. I had constant flashbacks to that moment and in a perpetual state of alarm in fear of another quake. I couldn’t be alone in my house without suffering anxiety attacks and I panicked at the slightest sudden noise or movement. Thankfully, I have recovered since then.
Sesame Street : **treats children with respect and help them understand death** Thomas the train engine : “HEY HOW ABOUT THERES HOMOSIDE AND IMPRISOMMENT?! **snorts coke** Arthur: HAHAHAHAHAHA mental illness :D **smokes**
it's thomas the tank engine not thomas the train engine if thomas and friends creators did a dark episodes it means THEY WEREN'T HIGH they just wonnted to teach kids a good leason
9:44 *Hey, they DID let him out, then again the only reason was because gordon's safety valve burst, and it WAS in the next episode, soooooooooooooooooooooooo, they left him there for quite a bit*
Despite being a Thomas Fan, I do agree with what you said about Stepney Gets Lost. As a kid, the fact that Sir Topham Hatt scolded Stepney despite that not being his fault seriously got under my skin. Also, thank you very much for saying "Thomas the TANK ENGINE" not "Thomas the TRAIN" as Thomas is a Tank Engine, a Train is what he pulls.
Howdy. Checking out some of the darker episodes from PBS Kids that I could find. Darkest lists are fun to make so let me know if you have any recommendations for other lists like this :) Thanks for dropping by :)
Honestly, I think the Wordgirl special with Miss Power deserved a spot on here, considering that it should how dangerous calling people names could be, and Miss Power was a really violent villain for a kids show. Sure she simply imprisoned everyone and tried to take over the city, but when you consider that she was willing to beat up Toby and the Birthday Girl, both of whom are within the 10-11 age range, you have a bullying woman with no qualms hurting children badly.
As someone with diagnosed Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, learning about that episode Germophobia really got to me. When I heard the title I just knew something good was coming. Not everyone with OCD has germophobia, but I personally do suffer with the phobia, and it is absolutely life ruining. I haven't seen that episode, but from what you've shown of it they did an amazing job portraying how it severe it can be. I can't touch anything any one else has touched unless I hand sanitize afterwards, I can't shake hands, touch public surfaces, I even get afraid to touch my friends. I'm really glad that there is something that can show children the horrors of germphobia, in an easy to understand way. Germophobia really can be triggered from a singular event, that is true, but that means your in your genetic line someone had an anxiety disorder previously, fun fact. Anyway, I just thought as someone with OCD I would comment on that episode! I hadn't heard of it, thanks for making me and others aware!
Mlg Ryan you didn’t have to read it if you didn’t care to, and you didn’t have to take the time to comment back if you didn’t care. don’t be THAT person lmao
April 9th has to be my favorite episode of Arthur. It taught me that it’s okay to be afraid and to go through a multitude of feelings after a traumatic event. Due to my anxiety disorder, I refuse to hear, see, or even be near a place or people associated with a traumatic event. It also taught me its okay to talk about my feelings after a traumatic event.
It doesnt matter lets be honest here modern trains are diesel fueled and the old trains are steam powered. In Thomas the "good guys" are the steam trains and the "bad guys" are the diesels so does that mean that its a battle between generations? Idk I'm looking too much into this.
As a PBS reviewer, I can point out some other dark episodes of PBS programs: Reading Rainbow: Visiting Day (growing up with parent in prison), Badger's Parting Gifts (death of loved one) In the Mix: Pretty much every episode (Seriously. Lots of episodes about drug abuse) Redwall: The whole series (With swords and war, what would you expect?) Liberty's Kids: United We Stand (Seeing the pain of a man suffering from tar and feathers) Berenstain Bears: The Bad Dream (Not too dark, but helps deal with scary influences or bad dreams) Animalia: Several episodes (Gets super dark a lot of times) Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood: Daniel's Fish Dies (talking about death) Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood: The one with the fish death (ditto) WordGirl: The Rise of Miss Power (dealing with bullying and harassment) Cyberchase: Measure for Measure (The Hacker takes over Cyberspace, reunion with character's long-lost father suffering from magnetite exposure)
Mr Rogers also had an episode about a bird dying. I like the fish on better as it's more of someone Fred actually experienced and even talks about losing his dog. I don't think the others bad. At worst, it didn't really fit into an episode during a week where the trolley had visions of the past. I'm not kidding. That was the theme. But as an adult, death can still be tuff and explaining the other way helps.
when i was a kid i thught cancer meant cancel, so skin cancer would mean skin stops regenerating and die due to skin going dead, bone cancer, any cancer thught it ment cancel, can that happen?
There's an even darker episode of Thomas. In the episode you spoke about, Henry is eventually let out in an episode after, but there's one where the character isn't, and ends up being buried alive. It's a.. jerk train or something, and he ends up getting himself put in a barn like building to be used as an engine for it, and at some point there's a landslide, which buries the building. Everyone else is perfectly fine, except the train that was placed in the now buried building, there's even a time skip showing the dirt covering the building, and then grass and plants growing out of it. I think being literally buried alive and forgotten about is worse than being let out a few episodes later ( The character also never comes back ) . There's also one where a boat is.. slightly grumpy, and ends up having a shit ton of boulders dumped onto him, far more than he can hold, and ends up being left on a beach from it, unable to do anything.
we don't really know if that was smudger's fate. smudger's fate is unknown. he was making things difficult and wouldn't try and get better. he turned into a generator but when they closed the line they probably sold him off. only duke wasn't sold because the buyers thought him too old
Did you know Henry was a disabled engine? Yeah, he was MADE with a firebox which was too small for him which is why he had trouble all the time. They had to get him "special" coal which burned hotter to keep him going. So, they legit bricked up a disabled engine in a tunnel because he didn't want to get his paint wet. Why didn't he want to get it wet? Because it was ONE happy thing he had to enjoy despite his pain. Ya know, just to make that episode even darker. Being disabled myself I can relate to Henry. He was always my favorite.

It was purposely incorporated because the actor Will Lee had died The producers of the show decided to put it in to help young Children dealing with Loss of a family member. The ep where Arthur Francine and Buster cutting school did not make the list? The Henry ep was the original story ending UNLESS there was a happy ending hence with that it got printed Also in the US it was a "temporary' punishment Aurther April episode was based on 9/11 AND the whole show Postcards from Buster got canceled cause"
I think that these dark topics are necessary for kids, especially those who those who are dealing with these things. Them knowing that they are not alone can really help them through the times they go through. It also doesn’t hurt to prepare the kids for life to reveal that it’s not all happy.
I've heard the show Barney is regarded as bad for kids because it's nothing but happiness and good things. It doesn't prepare kids for realistic situations. Makes kids thing everything is happy and always will be.
Beleve me when I say this, the sad story of Henry is not the darkest episode of Thomas (not to disrespect your opinion) here is a list of Thomas episodes that I recommend you watch Granpuff Sleeping Beauty (Last 2 are a 2 parter) Haunted Henry Rusty and the Boulder Ghost train Duncan gets Spooked Tobys discovery Put upon Percy Toby and the flood Rusty to the Rescue Escape Saved From Scrap Edward's Exploit Pop goes the Diesel Dirty Work A close shave (Last 3 is a 3 parter) Break van The deputation (Last 2 is a 2 parter) You don't have to watch all of them but I bet that at least 1 of these episodes will interest you. And if you do watch one of these I would love to hear your opinion!
I've seen some fan theories that the entire premise of Thomas the Tank Engine is extremely dark. That the locomotives are in constant fear of being scrapped, they are one mishap from scrapping or if they aren't quite useful enough they're done. This is why they put so much emphasis on being "really useful and reliable" - they are fighting for their lives. It takes place in a time frame when diesel locomotives are taking over from steam, the steam locomotives are obsolete and know it - as do the diesels. This is why the diesels are seen as antagonists, they are the ones causing the steam locomotives to be threatened with scrapping. Lorries and buses are also seen as a threat for the same reason. Everywhere else other than the Island of Sodor steam locomotives are being scrapped very rapidly, and Sir Topham Hatt can buy the obsolete locomotives for pennies on the dollar which is why the fleet is a mix of different locomotive classes from various railways around the UK, many of which are still painted in their former railways' liveries. Donald and Douglas are an extreme example of this - unexpectedly sent as a "two for the price of one," likely with the intent that one would be used for parts for the other, and they were so worried about getting sent away - to certain death. The ones sent to Sodor rather than scrapped are lucky to be alive, but still fear their days are numbered, and are doing everything they can to survive. Really a rather dark, fearful life to live. This does give me an idea of what they could do for new episodes: Set it in present day. Over time with it's obsolete steam locomotives, the Island of Sodor became a tourist destination for railfans worldwide, basically a giant still-operational train museum. Realizing this, the surviving locomotives (a few having been scrapped along the way) are preserved, along with steam locomotives from around the world that otherwise would have been scrapped, such as some types from China and South Africa that were used into the '90s (this could bring in some ethnic diversity themes) as well as various others from North America, Mainland Europe, and so on being sent there as a sort of "haven" or "refuge" for old steam locomotives. Possibly some more unique and iconic earlier diesel locomotives from around the world are brought in as well, now not seen as a threat but fellow obsolete survivors. Famous preserved (or new-build, such as the "Tornado") locomotives from around the world could make guest appearances - Flying Scotsman (I seem to recall that one actually visited Sodor once in the original books), Mallard, Challenger, Southern Pacific 4449, and others. In this context, the locomotives no longer live in fear of scrapping, but face some new interesting challenges of modern times. Could spend an entire season of the international locomotives telling their stories from their homeland, how they survived, and how they eventually made it to Sodor.
And then there's Robots. (Though that was less of actually being outdated and more of big evil corp(tm) and it's apparent monopoly purposely eradicating certain robots.)
If I may, there's a little more to the Sad Story of Henry than you think, and here's my view on said story. First off, you gotta understand that engines are not people, and nor are they supposed to represent people. They're first and foremost steam engines, and as such, treating an engine a certain way may seem worse than it looks to us when we just spare a glance at the surface of the story. Now, as an engine, Henry knows full well that he isn't the only one at stake here- he is blocking a railway line, and in a tunnel no less, which makes it even more risky, and as such is a serious danger to oncoming trains. If a train behind him wasn't able to stop in time, it could not only result in delays on the railway, but injury or even death for both the engine and their passengers if the crash was bad enough. Even knowing all this, Henry refuses to move out of the tunnel, not even when everyone asks him nicely, when he is pushed, or even when the rain stops- and all for the sake of his vanity. His paint, which can easily be fixed even if the rain does spoil it. We are sympathetic to Henry and hate to see him locked in a tunnel, but we must look at the bigger picture. If all of Sir Topham's engines start blocking the line whenever they feel like, then it could be seriously dangerous. So he literally has no choice but to do something, and since Henry won't budge and no one can move him, he does one of the only things he can. He puts Henry in the tunnel.. but not for long! A few days to a week at the very most, and here's why I think that. Sir Topham Hatt cares too much about his engines to leave them locked in a tunnel forever. If you watch the IMMEDIATELY following episode, "Edward, Gordon and Henry", you'll see that Gordon breaks down near the tunnel, and rather than find another engine, Sir Topham takes the time to have the wall torn down so that Henry can come out, stretch his wheels, and gloriously redeem himself by pulling the Express into the sunset. By the timeline, I would judge that he was only left in the tunnel for a few days, or maybe a week at the very most. I also think that he had to build a wall so that they could divert engines around that tunnel so that they wouldn't crash into poor old Henry as they're going down the line, hurting both him and themselves. Need more proof that Sir Topham cares about Henry? When his small boiler is causing him to be sick, he buys expensive Welsh coal to make him feel better. When Henry has a bad crash, he sends him to the equivalent of an engine hospital, where he is repaired, given a new boiler and is finally able to feel strong and happy again. Again, a very expensive thing to do when he could just buy another engine and be done with it, but he takes the time to help Henry feel better. He may have to be stern sometimes, but he definitely loves his engines, and if you look throughout the series, you can see many more examples. Anyways, I've rambled more than enough about this. Sorry for writing an essay on this haha
Here's what confuses me then. Why only put the wall on one side of the tunnel? Because if a engine is coming from behind, they might not see Henry in there. Or does it stop since they took the rails out from under him?
Also, in The Sad Story of Henry, at that point, Henry was a bad steamer, meaning got sick often. In a way, Sir Topham was merciful, giving Henry a chance to redeem himself instead of scrapping him. If you notice, the rails behind him were left, so he can leave in the next episode, Edward, Gordon, and Henry.
@@phantomstrider It's an interesting story. In the stories the show was based on (The Three Railway Engines), that was originally where Henry's story ended. When the author (Rev. W. Awdry) went to get it published, the company told him they liked it but would only pick it up if he wrote a third story to tie the engines together (Edward, Henry, and Gordon), essentially saying Henry's ending was a bit much for kids even back then.
PhantomStrider also the American version of the episode is a tad different. The Fat Controller, or as he’s referred to in the US Sir Topham Hatt, he says “We’ll leave you there until you are ready to come out of the tunnel.” So instead of sentencing Henry to what’s the train equivalent of a life sentence, it’s more of a time out until he learns his lesson. Also the narrator asks the audience how long it’ll take Henry to overcome his fear of the rain and ready to come out again
Another important part of goodbye Mr. hooper that usually isn’t covered when talking about the episode is it also shows kids that adults don’t have all the answers.
Damn I never realized most of my childhood was pbs kids until I watched the entire top 5. Like arthur and thomas are what defined my childhood and I oddly never found any or these mentioned episodes dark, just more mature episodes of the series.
Every time I think about the more serious topics in kids shows that are covered well (like in Sesame Street and Mr. Roger's), it makes me wish I was able to watch them as a kid more often because I think some of it could have helped me come to terms with a lot of the trauma I struggle with today as a young adult. Big Bird not understanding Mr. Hooper's mortality brings tears to my eyes every single time, because he's starting his grieving process. And as someone who was halted in many times of grief that makes me more aware of my issues. It's amazing how easy it can be to figure out ways to explain such topics to people with little to no object permanence.
Does PBS stand for *P* eanut *B* utter *S* quares (Edit: I'm british and, sadly, never grew up with PBS kids.Also. that thomas the tank engine one was SUPER scary.) (Edit No.2: Wth 200 odd likes, guess people like cringy puns or somthin' )
For #1, it's important to mention that walruses EAT penguins. That thing was creepy though. And Pingu is a Swiss-British TV series that originally aired in Europe, and is not a PBS show since they just aired reruns.
Actually walruses and penguins don't actually live in the same place. Walruses live in the Arctic while penguins live in Antarctica. Also, leopard seals are the ones who eat penguins.
@@JesusMartinez-rr2ry Theoretically if penguins and walruses did live in the same area, a walrus could eat a penguin. They have been found eating seals, however they would probably rather go for sea molluscs like clams and sea cucumbers, as it would take less energy to catch them.
So Wally the walrus from Paw Patrol would have eaten those penguins that are recurring characters on the show? I'm not a Paw Patrol fan but since I have a toddler I have had to watch it alot and that somehow makes it funny because I can think of some really messed up "fanfictiony" material with that.
I have always had a soft spot for Arthur after I realized just how many lessons from episodes stuck with me years and years after first seeing them. The April 9th episode helped me a *lot* as a kid.
If you think that “Come Out, Henry!/The Sad Story of Henry” is a dark episode, you have not seen Duncan Gets Spooked, where we literally see a locomotive DIE. Granted, it was only a story, but it was shown how the engine basically fell down in complete detail, along with the music being pretty disturbing in the night sections of the episode. Also, I basically disagree with that choice. Henry’s decision could’ve led to an accident and they HAD to teach him a lesson somehow, as in life, you sometimes have to learn the hard way. Plus, in the next episode, he gets set free. Thought I understand that Thomas isn’t your cup of tea and that you chose the episodes because of your personal thoughts.
Pundertale Fan Well, see it through Sir Topham Hatt’s eyes. You have your locomotive who refuses to leave the tunnel, even if it isn’t raining anymore and the engine is delaying passengers and potential trains that go on that same line in the schedule. You’re gonna have to do it the hard way as that would teach the engine a lesson. Plus, if you look at the TV show itself, Sir Topham Hatt is very forgiving, so he wouldn’t REALLY have left Henry there for an eternity.
@@DiegoGonzalez-cz6gu I suppose that makes sense. But couldn't they forcefully move him instead of keeping him there, where he'll still delay the passengers?
Pundertale Fan They actually tried forcing him out of the tunnel with another engine. In the episode, Thomas is the one that tries(even though he’s no match for it), but in the original version in the book(yes Thomas is based of a book series), another red engine that looks similar to James tries to force Henry out, but Henry refuses to leave. In the end, they get another engine to take the train, out out Henry’s fire and leave him in the tunnel.
Don't worry about Henry PhantomStrider. He is eventually brought out of the tunnel to help Edward help Gordon and learned his lesson. Also, I saw that Pingu episode when I was a kid, but I didn't see the whole thing. I also saw one of the Arthur episodes.
I was born in the 90s so I was too young to have known Mr. Hooper, but I remember that episode because my teacher tracked down a bootleg VHS copy of it to lend to my parents after my grandfather died when I was seven years old. She was a little disturbed by the fact that I was acting like Big Bird did in the episode and kept assuming he was coming back and she didn't know how else to explain it to me.
Fallout Pewterschmidt I was also born in the 90’s but have seen clips of the episode. However, after checking out some older clips, I’m kind of glad, especially in the case of Big Bird. Oh man was he freely in the early years.
Hope you feel better! Drink lots of water and maybe have some broth. Nothing else in it. That always helps me. If you don't like that, try hot herbal tea! Best of luck feeling better!!
In my politics class yesterday we started conservatism, and we analysed whether the Sad Story of Henry was actually an allegory for Conservatism (in particular as the episode was produced when Thatcher was in office). It's actually pretty interesting, but it sure does raise questions
Wow. The Arthur Germophobe one kinda hit me pretty hard. I've never heard of this episode before too. Some of the things Buster does in the show like taking baths in the middle of the night, excessive hand washing, not eating things that have been touched my "dirty" hands, and not using things even after washing them are all things I do because I kind of "fear" germs. I'm considering watching that episode and seeing what it's all about. Thanks for spreading some light on that one!
The most Darkest PBS Show episode I saw was Mr. Rodger's Neighbourhood Assassination and Shootings. It was sensitive to my autism but I wasn't alone. I watched it with my parents and brother and I started to understand what violence is like in real life and in cartoons. Good List, Strider.
Ricky Witte the fat controller was his ORIGINAL NAMEEEEEEEE the show originated in the UK, and is set in the UK, and in the UK we call him the fat controller.
“The Fat Controller laughed. ‘You are wrong’ “ Only thing I have to reference his character from. Also thought you were going to make a Henry Stickmin reference but was bamboozled
The PBS show Wishbone had some fairly dark episodes especially since it was adapting classic literature. The two that stick in my mind are Fleabitten Bargain, which tells Goethe's Faust and has Wishbone make a deal with the devil and Bone of Arc, which tells the story of Joan of Arc, which we know how that ends. The stories aren't too sugarcoated, but the real life segments provide some relief from the darker stories. I think a tv show targeted towards kids, taking on those stories was really impressive. I loved this show as a kid and it inspired me to read a lot of the books covered on that show.

Ya
Not sense the house explosion near me
Which episode?
Yep. The people who created Caillou. Definitely.

Despite being a Thomas Fan, I do agree with what you said about Stepney Gets Lost. As a kid, the fact that Sir Topham Hatt scolded Stepney despite that not being his fault seriously got under my skin.
Remember the one Thomas episode where it tells the story about 3 trucks who were low-key killed.
Um i think in every episode trucks get somehow harmed or killed by those crashes!

Why is Thomas so racist against diesel trains?
in the show, they explain on multiple occasions the diesels try to take over from the steam engines, or otherwise scrap them
Because the steam trains can pollute more air.
It doesnt matter lets be honest here modern trains are diesel fueled and the old trains are steam powered. In Thomas the "good guys" are the steam trains and the "bad guys" are the diesels so does that mean that its a battle between generations? Idk I'm looking too much into this.
raerae I remember not all do. And I haven't seen a single episode in 12 years!
Because he hates diesel patches
As a PBS reviewer, I can point out some other dark episodes of PBS programs:
Reading Rainbow: Visiting Day (growing up with parent in prison), Badger's Parting Gifts (death of loved one)
In the Mix: Pretty much every episode (Seriously. Lots of episodes about drug abuse)
Redwall: The whole series (With swords and war, what would you expect?)
Liberty's Kids: United We Stand (Seeing the pain of a man suffering from tar and feathers)
Berenstain Bears: The Bad Dream (Not too dark, but helps deal with scary influences or bad dreams)
Animalia: Several episodes (Gets super dark a lot of times)
Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood: Daniel's Fish Dies (talking about death)
Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood: The one with the fish death (ditto)
WordGirl: The Rise of Miss Power (dealing with bullying and harassment)
Cyberchase: Measure for Measure (The Hacker takes over Cyberspace, reunion with character's long-lost father suffering from magnetite exposure)
I thought octonauts and the syphonaphore (I hope I spelt that right LOL) was the darkest episode of the series!
p.s: I LOVE WORD GIRL!!!
@@ruthlynch4811 Octonauts wasn't a PBS series. It was on CBBC.

You’re talking about Duke the lost engine in the episode Grandpuff, not Henry. Might wanna edit that
Raven Wolf That jerk who got converted into a generator wasn’t Duke, it was Smudger.
I don't remember the character names, nor episode names, I just remember the basic story of what happened in the episodes
we don't really know if that was smudger's fate. smudger's fate is unknown. he was making things difficult and wouldn't try and get better. he turned into a generator but when they closed the line they probably sold him off. only duke wasn't sold because the buyers thought him too old

Thank you strider for making amazing videos for us to watch forever
Wowza, this was pretty good
I've seen some fan theories that the entire premise of Thomas the Tank Engine is extremely dark.

Wow this is quite well made....
Here is a cookie and a smile for it is all I have to give.
Here's what confuses me then. Why only put the wall on one side of the tunnel? Because if a engine is coming from behind, they might not see Henry in there. Or does it stop since they took the rails out from under him?
Rosalina Bloom they put another set of tracks so engines wouldn’t have to go that way anymore

I didn't realise he left the next episode. Well spotted. Glad to know the fat controller hadn't banished him there forever.
Yes
PhantomStrider also the American version of the episode is a tad different. The Fat Controller, or as he’s referred to in the US Sir Topham Hatt, he says “We’ll leave you there until you are ready to come out of the tunnel.” So instead of sentencing Henry to what’s the train equivalent of a life sentence, it’s more of a time out until he learns his lesson. Also the narrator asks the audience how long it’ll take Henry to overcome his fear of the rain and ready to come out again
@@phantomstrider I really like that you listen to your Subscirbers. But might I recommend doing more reasearch before making these.

@@JesusMartinez-rr2ry True. Thanks for the correction!

Could you do another top 6 of these. I love revisiting my childhood and how messed up it was lol

I agree, but boarding him into a tunnel? That seems like a bit much.
When I was 3 I watched it and it gave me nightmares
Thomas and friends can go dark when it wants to lol.
That's true.

Don't worry about Henry PhantomStrider. He is eventually brought out of the tunnel to help Edward help Gordon and learned his lesson. Also, I saw that Pingu episode when I was a kid, but I didn't see the whole thing. I also saw one of the Arthur episodes.

I didn't grow up with Mr. Hooper but the episode where he died still hits hard.
Agreed
Fallout Pewterschmidt I was also born in the 90’s but have seen clips of the episode. However, after checking out some older clips, I’m kind of glad, especially in the case of Big Bird. Oh man was he freely in the early years.
Ooh! New PhantomStrider video! Awesome... Still trying to recover from the flu...

Aw, feel better @Angel Toon.
I grew up with a lot of these cartoons and so glad someone is talking about them especially stuff nobody talks about.
Well done.

I was personaly traumatized by both pengus dream and the episode with henry being locked up.

I loved Wshbone
