Anyway, I would definitely love for this show to introduce homosexuality, even if it would be unfortunately risky. @@kylemorello4787 I was first introduced to what LGBT meant when I was around 8 or 9. I was watching a show, but since I didn’t understand it very well, I was really confused, so I told my mom. My mom then told me that it was disgusting and that God made the opposite genders to be together, not one of the same. Now looking back on that, it seems like she was being a bit sexist since a Christian can be transgender without it being controlled. It reminds me of racism since LGBT people shouldn’t be treated any different way from others. I hope more people can eventually understand this, which is why I agree with this.

Big Bird is lucky. Not everyone has friends or family members to help them get through it, and all hospital staff are caring or competent. And of course, he's lucky he only only had to stay in the hospital for around three days. When it was finally time for him to go home, he was so busy thanking everyone and saying goodbye that Maria said, "You didn't want to come to the hospital, and now you don't want to leave!" ^_^
A classic case of misinformation Autism is not a mental disorder it is neurological one. A mental illness is PMDD or depression. Probably at the person who did this video got there info miss up.I have high functioning autism and it is definitely a brain thing not mental.
Big Bird doesn’t give in to peer pressure. He doesn’t care if he looks funny or bad in other’s eyes. He gets through sickness with heart. He is a kind, loyal friend. Big Bird is my role model.

That last one actually made me feel sad. It's actually kind of sad seeing these characters go through so much emotional pain even in a show that's usually bright and cheerful. But honestly, I think approaching a dark subject like death in such a way is actually a good way to teach kids about it. Because it demonstrates just what happens when someone dies and how their families deal with the loss. Death is just one of the things kids need to learn about in order to understand the world better.
Yeah I agree with you. As someone you lost a love one last year I was angry and like just asking why why now why did they have to go. I was asking so many questions and the person I was also worried for was my younger sister who didn’t know what was going on so I’m glad Sesame Street showing kids how to deal with grief and losing a love one
There's an emu farm down the road from where I live. They are pretty mean. They had to post a custom made sign that says Danger: Do Not Pet Emus For Risk Serious Injury. Emu Will Bite.
Big Bird and Elmo are the characters that most children watching the show identify with, being children themselves. Thus, kids can better relate to them.

As someone with autism, I view it less as a disability and more of a trade off. On one hand I might have trouble with social skills, but on the other hand, I am very good at other things. I am very interested in ancient China to a point where its all I talk about, and Im constantly taking selfies of myself dressed in traditional Chinese garb, and learning Mandarin.
You know, I've never viewed autism like that before. I guess I never thought that it's not a mental illness, it's just a different way a brain works. I'm surprised it's never crossed my mind before. Thanks for addressing that.
I like how in the hospital episode nobody sugarcoats the fact that getting a shot does hurt. Because there are a lot of episodes of kids shows that try to play it off like it doesn't hurt that much or it doesn't hurt at all, but here it seems like Sesame Street is not trying to hide anything about how much shots can hurt. They don't play it off like: "Oh, that didn't hurt a bit!" We actually see and hear Big Bird say "Ow" and crya little bit. So I'm glad that they didn't sugarcoat the fact that shots hurt.

Because even real life doctors know that getting a shot hurts but a real doctor isn't going to sugarcoat it or talk down to someone and they're not going to treat you like an idiot. So that's good

Because one puppet is homeless. At least two more have a parent in prison. One has autism. Elmos uncle is dead. They’re depicted as kids. And it works so well because they’re explaining the issues to kids so a kid could understand
Why was this show not aired in the UK?? This is the only place I've even seen episodes. Sure it might have been on video tape but I don't recall ever seeing them on shelves. We got Elmo's spin off at least, for before school viewing...
Imma say this: I'm glad that people on SS that is having kids understand how those serious topics in a understanding and not in a rude matter. I wanna thank SS to make these topic and to understand that these things especially divorce that it isn't their fault.
yeah i honestly wish more kid shows did this and i see many shows try to but end up sugar coating it ( the steven universe garnet PSA is a GREAT example) but SS is straightforward and blunt and very realistic on topic like death and how they say that they DIED and not in “a better place” for example it’s very rare to see kid shows accomplish topics like this in a healthy manner
The bullying episode is really relatable to me. I tried to fit in a lot, even changed my personality. Big bird touch my heart and taught me a lot through out the years.

I never get bullied, but I wanted to get fit with the group with some of the most awesome people (students) I know, but sadly, I ended up being joined the group with a bunch of annoying students (and the most neutral as well). I couldn't accept this because I was annoyed with those mentally challenged individuals but I could help.

i have autism and some people think i'm weird or crazy and some times tees me and i went through deep depression but now i have great friends and now i think i feel a little bite beater.
i have autism too. and i feel the same way. it hurts when you get bullied for something you can't help. but there is always a way to get happy. i have a friend who has autism, and bonding with her just feels great. the good thing is, there are tons of people who are on the spectrum, there is most likely a handful at least in every state, and country, so you can always find someone else who is on the spectrum to be friends with, and can help you out.
Julia was introduced when I was finishing up high school and I remember crying a few days before my high school graduation and I found the scene where Big Bird meets her (aka her introduction in the show proper) I'm autistic and even as a senior in high school, I was dealing with bullying and even abuse for being "weird" as a direct result, and seeing Julia doing all the "weird" things I did but being accepted just gave me a huge beacon of hope because kids like me could see themselves in Julia and other kids could see there was nothing wrong with her. There's even an online clip where she's flapping her arms (a common but stigmatized behavior in autism), and Abby joins in while comparing the movement to butterfly wings, and just... It makes me so happy I'm so glad Sesame Street is doing this. Every child deserves to see themselves represented

There were also the episodes where Rosita struggles with her father being in a wheel chair and Elmo having his father being away in the army for a long time. Those were incredibly tear-jerking.

I don’t know if either of these guys talked about this movie but, I’m going to talk about it here in the comments. I remember this older Sesame Street movie called Follow That Bird. Big Bird ( if I remember correctly) is invited to have parents and goes to live with the Dodos. When he goes he’s actually very sad and the movie alone is kind of depressing if you think about it. Big Bird is later kidnapped ( I think ) by two dudes and he is used for money. Bird’s recolored from yellow to blue and always sad when people go to see him at a circus. Bird does manage to befriend a few people but the people he befriends only have about 10 minutes of screen time. He does get rescued in the end. I feel like the movie itself is very sad and felt like I had to comment about it. I forgot to mention that the Dodos lived far away from Sesame Street and that really affected Snuffy. The Dodos are also kind of abusive. When Big Bird complained about wanting to go home, the Dodos ignore what he says and reply with, “ but this is your home “ the Dodos also ignored Bird. And when Big Bird describes Snuffy to the Dodos, the Dodos make fun of Snuffy and tell Bird to find a different best friend who is a bird like them. Sorry for the long comment. I just found the movie kind of sad.
El Karlo mr hooper t store owners death was a really sad episode but it was handled like so many of these episodes with gentle and informative way for little kids
@@DJ-kl8tt Both that and his number 1 are both good ways. I like the Elmo episode a little bit more because I think its nice it lets you know you have people to talk to about it. But Mr. Hoppers death is important as a real death shouldn't be hidden from kids
The storm episode was played a lot when I was a kid. I live near New Orleans and was 6 when Hurricane Katrina hit, so it was super helpful having that episode help normalize and explain just what was happening.
Me too. My favorite thing about it was that they still included a lot of humor, including Telly Monster getting blown away by the Big Bad Wolf repeatedly, and the last appearance of Kermit the Frog on the show (or so we thought! Thanks Elmo's World and 50th anniversary special!).

I live in a large city an I don't think I've been through a natural disaster In my life so it's interesting to hear what they're actually like from people who have been through them.
As a man with autism I must say, I didn’t expect Sesame Street to cover so many subjects that I never thought to see in a preschool show, and as a man with autism who also lost loved loved one, and was once homeless, I gotta say this show is not afraid to tell kids what they need to hear, not what they want to hear, I always thought Sesame Street was about math and abc’s, but know I have little more respect for the show now. Jim Henson your work is incredible.

I remember the 9/11 episode. I was a little more than a two months old when that happened, about 40 minutes away from NYC. My dad was working near Central Park. Luckily not in Lower Manhattan. 9/11 is a day we must never forget

Pearl Harbor in my opinion might have been worse because it was unexpected, it was an attack not just on civilians but the military, and so many lives were lost there in just a few moments. Modern Day-Wise, I would say 9/11 has slightly more relevance and it was an event that changed every countries viewpoints in terrorism and emerging threats from insurgent groups domestically and internationally
9/11 was probably one of the toughest days America had to deal with but it brought the whole world together. If we didn’t have 9/11, Hussein would’ve still been Iraqis, the Taliban would’ve still been in power over in Afghanistan and al-qaeda would’ve still bombed places in America so even though that day was tough, it paved the way for significant events in America’s history
yeah I really was scared of puppets when I was little but now Im not and when my cousin watches this show I realize how many dark topics it deals with.
They do such a good job at trying to teach kids about everything that happens in life, they aren’t aggressive about the topics, they try their best to make them understand things, I have a huge support for the Sesame Street company and their work.

I was going through TH-cam and I found this episode. I cried through the whole thing. My grandma passed from colon cancer many years ago and the pain of her death still hurts today. They did a great job explaining death especially in a way children can understand.

I discovered this one show called "Girl Meets World", that's actually a spin-off of "Boy Meets World". It was kind of the "odd one out" on Disney Channel before it was cancelled, because it talks about a lot of mature topics like bullying, atheism, autism and even grudges against family members.
Im a big fan of boy meets world but i give girl meets world a try and i see what they do in the show but i think boy meets world did the whole stuff better hell they even tackle underage drinking and a new born sickness where the kid was close to death but i think if girl meets world was on abc it would be different like boy meets world if you get what i mean
I miss that show, they could have done so much more with it had they continued. I still remember the bullying episode and the chills I got from that ONE scene. God it felt so real!

i am really happy that this video exists, because for one, you are one of my favorite youtubers of all time, and when i watch your videos, they just make me smile and some of your videos make me feel better about myself, because you are really talented and funny and i wish there was one sesame street episode that explains depression to the audience, because if they could do a loved one in jail, or even death itself, they can teach people about depression, and with true empathy because sesame street is really good at being honest also it would make me feel so much better about myself, because ever since 2019, i kept on thinking to myself "why do i exist?" "why am i even here?" "why am i not dead yet?" "why was i born?" and most of the time i try to explain stuff like this to others, they usually say "you will be okay" or "don't worry" or they don't listen at all so i usually bottle up my emotions and feelings while saying "who cares on what you say, it would always be the same" and it went to the point of me doing self harm, and to the point where i start to beat myself when i mess up or i make my family upset by yelling at them or disrespecting them and i also had thoughts of suicide as well, for example "maybe i should end it now" or "maybe my family is better off without me" so if a episode of sesame street that dealt with depression exists, i would feel so much better and look at life in a different way (and if you read this to the end, than wow i am surprised that you actually read me venting and letting all my feelings out, but thank you for at least reading this. And no, i am not lying just for attention, i am actually letting my feelings flow out of me, so i hope that some people would take this seriously)

the reason why I love Sesame Street is because it can still have an impact and be enjoyable for older viewers even though it is intended for young children, that's what makes it such a cultural icon

@@EmpressEveningGlow I know what you mean. I used to be scared to death of getting a shot, especially when I was a kid. I'm not really afraid of them anymore, but, like you, I can't stand the feeling of a needle in my arm (I have to get a blood test every now and then a week before I go to my Primary Care Physician for my regular check-up; I also recently had a flu shot). In fact, I often look away before they insert it into my skin. Of course, without these shots, I would probably have a lot of unnecessary medical problems. Did you know that gangster Al Capone contracted V.D., but didn't have it treated because of his fear of needles? The result was the disease became worse over the years, and eventually contributed to his death in 1947.
Sesame Street shows all of these issues from a kids point a view, and kids watching are able to feel represented and learn how to help their friends going through it. It’s honestly incredible how kids are able to see themselves in these characters and how they feel like friends to them. I babysit for a lot of families and when the younger kids want to watch Sesame Street all of the other older kids stop what they’re doing to watch it too, I of course do too. Kids just get so immersed in it you can’t pry their eyes away from the screen if you tried, I’m sure the bright colors help but it’s almost like they’re watching themselves on screen playing with these characters and it’s honestly incredible.
When I was a kid my mother used to scream at me about how her marital problems were my fault. I wish Seaseme Street would cover the topic of foster care.

I vividly remember the episode when Mr. Hooper died. I was the demographic age at the time and just like many other kids, I watched Sesame Street religiously and will always give it the credit it deserves for shaping so many of us over the last fifty (!) years. Mr. Hooper was beloved by everyone; as the shopkeeper of the store that bears his name even today, he was just as much a friend to us as Big Bird or Cookie Monster. After TH-cam launched, I was so thrilled (for lack of a more appropriate word) to see that piece of pop culture history (and my childhood) after so many years. Viewing it through the eyes of an adult gave me even more a sense of awe at how brilliantly cautious they'd scripted the episode that was by far the "darkest" they'd done to date. It's truly tear-jerking today, mostly for watching Big Bird struggle with the understanding that one of Sesame Street's most iconic characters would no longer be there behind his counter with his charming smile. It was nothing short of masterful and the people behind the scenes (and under/inside the Muppets) will never be paid the dues they truly deserve for how sensitively they handled the scariest subject. We miss you too, Mr. Looper!

I'm in my twenties and I will never, ever not love Sesame Street. It is one of the best things on television and would gladly watch it with anyone. Their dedication to teaching children and even parents about some of the most difficult things in life deserves an incredible amount of respect. I personally recommend watching "When Families Grieve" if you're going through a hard death even if you're an adult because the care, love, and wisdom put into this show can touch any generation. You're able to see the effect of Uncle Jack's death not only on Elmo and Cousin Jessie, but also his wife Jill and his brother Louie, and even Elmo's mom (who I can't remember the name of). It's raw and honest, and it is so wonderfully sobering to see that. Also Strider, I want footage of you being chased by an emu.
I was about six when that hurricane episode aired. Scared the shit out of me. I remember sitting with my dad and holding my favorite stuffed animal and just being absolutely terrified for the characters. The thing that these episodes have in common is that they are *important* .

Autism and other conditions is just a different ways of learning, I have adhd and I’ve always known that it dosent stop me from doing anything, it just means it’s harder for me to understand things
I am so glad they introduced a character who is on the autism spectrum. As someone who is on it myself, it warms my heart to know people are treating it not as a disability, illness, or a problem, but as another way of thinking.
This is weird but kind of wish i was a tiny bit on the spectrum.... all the people with autism i personally know are really intelligent and have the best manners and have all those qualities i would love to have, but i dont ....they also score really good marks effortlessly....
I feel ashamed at the fact that I actively avoided watching Sesame Street as a kid. Instead I chose to watch Peppa Pig and a bunch of other cheap crap for kids, I’m glad I’m able to appreciate how smart the show is now.

Big Bird is lucky. Not everyone has friends or family members to help them get through it, and all hospital staff are caring or competent. And of course, he's lucky he only only had to stay in the hospital for around three days. When it was finally time for him to go home, he was so busy thanking everyone and saying goodbye that Maria said, "You didn't want to come to the hospital, and now you don't want to leave!" ^_^

That last one actually made me feel sad. It's actually kind of sad seeing these characters go through so much emotional pain even in a show that's usually bright and cheerful. But honestly, I think approaching a dark subject like death in such a way is actually a good way to teach kids about it. Because it demonstrates just what happens when someone dies and how their families deal with the loss. Death is just one of the things kids need to learn about in order to understand the world better.
Yeah I agree with you. As someone you lost a love one last year I was angry and like just asking why why now why did they have to go. I was asking so many questions and the person I was also worried for was my younger sister who didn’t know what was going on so I’m glad Sesame Street showing kids how to deal with grief and losing a love one

As someone with autism, I view it less as a disability and more of a trade off.

I like how in the hospital episode nobody sugarcoats the fact that getting a shot does hurt.
Because there are a lot of episodes of kids shows that try to play it off like it doesn't hurt that much or it doesn't hurt at all, but here it seems like Sesame Street is not trying to hide anything about how much shots can hurt.
They don't play it off like: "Oh, that didn't hurt a bit!"
We actually see and hear Big Bird say "Ow" and crya little bit. So I'm glad that they didn't sugarcoat the fact that shots hurt.

The bullying episode is really relatable to me. I tried to fit in a lot, even changed my personality. Big bird touch my heart and taught me a lot through out the years.

i have autism too. and i feel the same way. it hurts when you get bullied for something you can't help. but there is always a way to get happy. i have a friend who has autism, and bonding with her just feels great. the good thing is, there are tons of people who are on the spectrum, there is most likely a handful at least in every state, and country, so you can always find someone else who is on the spectrum to be friends with, and can help you out.
These episodes actually make me respect the Sesame Workshop even more.
Julia was introduced when I was finishing up high school and I remember crying a few days before my high school graduation and I found the scene where Big Bird meets her (aka her introduction in the show proper)
I'm autistic and even as a senior in high school, I was dealing with bullying and even abuse for being "weird" as a direct result, and seeing Julia doing all the "weird" things I did but being accepted just gave me a huge beacon of hope because kids like me could see themselves in Julia and other kids could see there was nothing wrong with her. There's even an online clip where she's flapping her arms (a common but stigmatized behavior in autism), and Abby joins in while comparing the movement to butterfly wings, and just... It makes me so happy

I remember this older Sesame Street movie called Follow That Bird. Big Bird ( if I remember correctly) is invited to have parents and goes to live with the Dodos. When he goes he’s actually very sad and the movie alone is kind of depressing if you think about it. Big Bird is later kidnapped ( I think ) by two dudes and he is used for money. Bird’s recolored from yellow to blue and always sad when people go to see him at a circus. Bird does manage to befriend a few people but the people he befriends only have about 10 minutes of screen time. He does get rescued in the end. I feel like the movie itself is very sad and felt like I had to comment about it. I forgot to mention that the Dodos lived far away from Sesame Street and that really affected Snuffy. The Dodos are also kind of abusive. When Big Bird complained about wanting to go home, the Dodos ignore what he says and reply with, “ but this is your home “ the Dodos also ignored Bird. And when Big Bird describes Snuffy to the Dodos, the Dodos make fun of Snuffy and tell Bird to find a different best friend who is a bird like them.

How to not be depressed
The storm episode was played a lot when I was a kid. I live near New Orleans and was 6 when Hurricane Katrina hit, so it was super helpful having that episode help normalize and explain just what was happening.
Me too. My favorite thing about it was that they still included a lot of humor, including Telly Monster getting blown away by the Big Bad Wolf repeatedly, and the last appearance of Kermit the Frog on the show (or so we thought! Thanks Elmo's World and 50th anniversary special!).

As a man with autism I must say, I didn’t expect Sesame Street to cover so many subjects that I never thought to see in a preschool show, and as a man with autism who also lost loved loved one, and was once homeless, I gotta say this show is not afraid to tell kids what they need to hear, not what they want to hear, I always thought Sesame Street was about math and abc’s, but know I have little more respect for the show now. Jim Henson your work is incredible.

9/11 was probably one of the toughest days America had to deal with but it brought the whole world together. They do such a good job at trying to teach kids about everything that happens in life, they aren’t aggressive about the topics, they try their best to make them understand things, I have a huge support for the Sesame Street company and their work.

*What about the black&white episode from the 70's, where the Wicked Witch of the West from Wizard of Oz terrorised Sesame Street? I still remember watching it as a very young kid, and having nightmares for a good couple of years over it!!* 😵

i am really happy that this video exists, because for one, you are one of my favorite youtubers of all time, and when i watch your videos, they just make me smile
and some of your videos make me feel better about myself, because you are really talented and funny
and i wish there was one sesame street episode that explains depression to the audience, because if they could do a loved one in jail, or even death itself, they can teach people about depression, and with true empathy because sesame street is really good at being honest
also it would make me feel so much better about myself, because ever since 2019, i kept on thinking to myself
"why do i exist?"

and most of the time i try to explain stuff like this to others, they usually say
"you will be okay" or "don't worry" or they don't listen at all
so i usually bottle up my emotions and feelings while saying
"who cares on what you say, it would always be the same"
and it went to the point of me doing self harm, and to the point where i start to beat myself when i mess up or i make my family upset by yelling at them or disrespecting them
and i also had thoughts of suicide as well, for example
"maybe i should end it now" or "maybe my family is better off without me" so if a episode of sesame street that dealt with depression exists, i would feel so much better and look at life in a different way (and if you read this to the end, than wow i am surprised that you actually read me venting and letting all my feelings out, but thank you for at least reading this. And no, i am not lying just for attention, i am actually letting my feelings flow out of me, so i hope that some people would take this seriously)
To quote someone: "This world is cold and harsh for sure, full of malice beyond all hope, but if you make the decision to struggle, struggle, and struggle some more, there will definitely be light. Meaning the world isn't so dark of a place that one can't snatch a ray of light."

the reason why I love Sesame Street is because it can still have an impact and be enjoyable for older viewers even though it is intended for young children, that's what makes it such a cultural icon

@@EmpressEveningGlow I know what you mean. I used to be scared to death of getting a shot, especially when I was a kid. I'm not really afraid of them anymore, but, like you, I can't stand the feeling of a needle in my arm (I have to get a blood test every now and then a week before I go to my Primary Care Physician for my regular check-up; I also recently had a flu shot). In fact, I often look away before they insert it into my skin.
Of course, without these shots, I would probably have a lot of unnecessary medical problems. Did you know that gangster Al Capone contracted V.D., but didn't have it treated because of his fear of needles? The result was the disease became worse over the years, and eventually contributed to his death in 1947.

Sesame Street shows all of these issues from a kids point a view, and kids watching are able to feel represented and learn how to help their friends going through it. It’s honestly incredible how kids are able to see themselves in these characters and how they feel like friends to them.
I babysit for a lot of families and when the younger kids want to watch Sesame Street all of the other older kids stop what they’re doing to watch it too, I of course do too. Kids just get so immersed in it you can’t pry their eyes away from the screen if you tried, I’m sure the bright colors help but it’s almost like they’re watching themselves on screen playing with these characters and it’s honestly incredible.
How awful is it to see Big Bird, my favorite Muppet, go through such agony like this? I wanna give him a hug.

I vividly remember the episode when Mr. Hooper died. I was the demographic age at the time and just like many other kids, I watched Sesame Street religiously and will always give it the credit it deserves for shaping so many of us over the last fifty (!) years. Mr. Hooper was beloved by everyone; as the shopkeeper of the store that bears his name even today, he was just as much a friend to us as Big Bird or Cookie Monster. After TH-cam launched, I was so thrilled (for lack of a more appropriate word) to see that piece of pop culture history (and my childhood) after so many years. Viewing it through the eyes of an adult gave me even more a sense of awe at how brilliantly cautious they'd scripted the episode that was by far the "darkest" they'd done to date. It's truly tear-jerking today, mostly for watching Big Bird struggle with the understanding that one of Sesame Street's most iconic characters would no longer be there behind his counter with his charming smile. It was nothing short of masterful and the people behind the scenes (and under/inside the Muppets) will never be paid the dues they truly deserve for how sensitively they handled the scariest subject. We miss you too, Mr. Looper!

I don't get it
I'm in my twenties and I will never, ever not love Sesame Street. It is one of the best things on television and would gladly watch it with anyone. Their dedication to teaching children and even parents about some of the most difficult things in life deserves an incredible amount of respect. I personally recommend watching "When Families Grieve" if you're going through a hard death even if you're an adult because the care, love, and wisdom put into this show can touch any generation. You're able to see the effect of Uncle Jack's death not only on Elmo and Cousin Jessie, but also his wife Jill and his brother Louie, and even Elmo's mom (who I can't remember the name of). It's raw and honest, and it is so wonderfully sobering to see that.
Also Strider, I want footage of you being chased by an emu.
This is why I love Sesame Street. They took on so many topics that are often not expressed to children. I am glad they continue to do this.

I was about six when that hurricane episode aired. Scared the shit out of me. I remember sitting with my dad and holding my favorite stuffed animal and just being absolutely terrified for the characters.
The thing that these episodes have in common is that they are *important* .
That episode played recently (by recently I mean months ago). I haven't seen it before, so it was surprising to see something like that.

I am so glad they introduced a character who is on the autism spectrum. As someone who is on it myself, it warms my heart to know people are treating it not as a disability, illness, or a problem, but as another way of thinking.
This is weird but kind of wish i was a tiny bit on the spectrum.... all the people with autism i personally know are really intelligent and have the best manners and have all those qualities i would love to have, but i dont ....they also score really good marks effortlessly....
Eh, it’s a double edged sword. You get targeted by the popular kids, stress is over the roof, and some teachers treat you like you can’t do anything.

I feel ashamed at the fact that I actively avoided watching Sesame Street as a kid. Instead I chose to watch Peppa Pig and a bunch of other cheap crap for kids, I’m glad I’m able to appreciate how smart the show is now.
