The front piece is all one piece, I put batting on the back, started on one end of the blanket and sewn 3 squares (stitch in the ditch) up, stuffed the bottom row first then sewn those puff squares so that they are done and repeated the steps after I finished 3puff rows. There is a fast clip where it shows the batting, and you can see the individual squares. I hope I explained that right. 😊
